Anybody that visits this blog will know that I am always pissed off at the country for the way it treats its veterans……….the VA is not doing an adequate job protected our vets……some of the problem is funding and some is just the stupidity of Congress as well as the people, who seems to care less until there is a holiday then vets are all on their minds……..
One of the worst injuries a vet can suffer is a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)…..unfortunately it is one of the most difficult to diagnose and treat……and the fact that medical people are not handling the problem adequately is another problem……
And it looks like it will get NO better in the near future……

It is upsetting to read the many articles and postings regarding the miserable treatment of our veterans. Conservatives want the VA to receive less funding each year. DEFUND! is their battle cry. There is a good reason why the Wounded Warriors Project was formed. Our government’s “leaders” are quick to send our beautiful young people into harm’s way, but refuse to fund the needed resources upon their return and to service our older veterans properly. I find, with reading articles, that there are different reactions in different parts of our country from veterans. Some are finding they receive wonderful service and others wait weeks and months for their appointments. What gives?
I think the good news is PR….most I have encountered say it is slow and in some cases non-existent….
I may be reading the wrong articles!! LOL.
I sure there are some good stories…..
