Syria is a mess…..there are more plot twists than a Guy Ritchie movie……..there are so many players and fighters that few can keep them all straight.
Just who are the players in the fight in Northern Syria…..keep in mind that these may not be the same ones as fighting in the South…….
Now you have a scorecard to keep the players straight…………..This may confuse my reader even more……but at least you will have a better idea than you have now……good luck.
As an international analyst I work with lots of information and in doing so I need to separate the facts from the fecal matter……..it is very difficult at times for there is so much misinformation and outright lies flying around that it becomes very difficult to find the truth and pass it on……..
I love my job (the pay sucks) and I will continue to help people understand what is truly happening in the Middle East………and I like to start by pointing out the mental midgets that lie to influence…….and one of the biggest liars is a politician named…..Sen. Ted Cruz.
This person is responsible for passing out the most outrageous lies in Washington……..some of his most outrageous have come at the hands of the Iran nuke deal…….
Awhile back after the announcement of the deal he made and terribly irresponsible statement……..
The flamboyant Texas senator and Republican presidential candidate seized the spotlight at a hearing on Capitol Hill on Wednesday to grill Defense Secretary Ash Carter about an alleged document listing the names of some 500 U.S. service members whose combat deaths can be directly linked to Iran.
“Secretary Carter, I understand that the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency has a classified list of roughly 500 American soldiers who were murdered by Iranian [improvised explosive devices],”
This statement made the nightly news and a couple of hours of comments and opinions on his claim……but there is a problem………
The Joint Personnel Recovery Agency “has not produced, nor do they have in their possession, or any knowledge of the existence of, the list referred to by Senator Cruz, or one similar to it,” a spokesman for the Joint Chiefs of Staff told Military Times on Thursday.
Another defense official familiar with the 500 estimate told Military Times that the Defense Department does not specifically track casualties linked to Iran and that the estimate is a rough figure based on various intelligence assessments.
In other words Cruz got some info from a neocon think tank and passed it on without verification as fact when it was NOT…….at best it was a LIE.
He was not finished with the Iran deal……..now that he has a position within the GOP candidate list he will say whatever gets him attention……and that attention will be , as usual, LIES.
Now he is spouting crap that AIPAC wants out there to sway people against the deal……and as usual it is LIES!
Now Cruz is saying that if the deal goes through then shortly there will be a mushroom cloud over Israel……..pathetic attempt to sway….with the use of LIES!
This is why we are hated across the Middle East…..Americans too quickly believe lies and act on those lies…….and look at what those lies have given the country……….a war WITHOUT end………..if people would demand the truth at all times things might improve……..but that would be wishful thinking…….
And that is why they hate us……we have lying pricks as representatives………
My readers now have an rudimentary understanding of ISIS and they have an introduction to the Kurds, the largest faction fighting ISIS…..now let’s look at the beginning……..
For a about a year now there have been some posts that I read that claimed that the US was arming ISIS…..most of them were from sites that are very critical of the US and its policies……the truth is that I would not put it past the CIA to use ISIS in one of their covert operations…..though I will say that I considered it very unlikely…….
Ever heard of the DIA? 30 years ago this intel group was virtually unknown unless you had specific reason to deal with them………about like the NSA but more secretive……..but recently all that has changed…….

General Michael Flynn, former head of the Pentagon’s DIA and senior intelligence officer with the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Al Jazeera’s press release announcing the interview entitled “Is the US to blame for ISIL?” indicates that Flynn is asked specifically about the document in the prerecorded show set to air July 31:
Publicly commenting for the first time on a previously-classified August 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) memo, which had predicted “the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in Eastern Syria (…) this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want” and confirmed that “the Salafists, the Muslim Brotherhood, and [Al Qaeda in Iraq] are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria,” the former DIA chief told Head to Head that “the [Obama] Administration” didn’t “listen” to these warnings issued by his agency’s analysts.
“I don’t know if they turned a blind eye,” he said. “I think it was a decision, I think it was a willful decision.”
So the question now is…….Is it possible that the US is responsible for ISIS?
We are ass deep in the Middle East and it looks like it will be for a very long time……..maybe it is time for Americans, especially my readers, to get acquainted with the people that we are interacting with in this struggle.
Since 2003 there have been stories of a people in the Middle East, the Kurds…….but what do you know about these people?
They are in the news daily…….that is when we actually get news of the Middle East………and yet little is known about these people and why they are so vital to the fight against ISIS…….
They are a force against ISIS but are not allies to the entire coalition…..Turkey for one wants to control and dominate…………

I know everyone in the US hates ISIS and all it stands for……but people…..what do you actually know about the group? I mean besides….ISIS be bad! And since this is a war without end maybe now would be a good time to learn about what we are fighting and who……….
I am talking about real information……not the dribble that is past off as fact by some……..hysterics and emotional bullshit will NOT defeat these cowards…..only knowledge will win this war.
At least spend a few minutes learning about these evil doers before you hate……allow others to dictate what you believe is slowly killing this country…….be different……learn the truth…….act accordingly!
