To be honest the Middle East has been a mess since the end of World War one and the powers that came up with the arbitrary boundaries of once non-existent nations…….it has seldom been a region at rest.
Beginning in 2003 it has become a melting pot of chaos and violence……the fabricated nations of the region are at each others throats now

Wonder how things would be if Ottoman Empire not broken up. But Brits took such an as whipping at Gallipoli they had to get revenge somehow. France and Britain did create today’s mess.
