A few years ago everyone was on-board with the deposing of the Libyan leader, Qaffafi….and since then there have been sporadic reports in the media about the situation in Libya….it has gone from cheers and joy to damn right awful……from bad to worse…..and one of the results of our intervention has been the rise of ISIS in Libya……and because of the rise the US is forced to intervene yet again……
The U.S. and its allies need to step in to help restore Libyan sovereignty.

Would that be the old hawkish adage…..”fight for peace”?
But then the question could be asked….is ISIS that big of a threat that the US needs to use intervention to solve?

Now what part of that plan is for the good of the Libyan people? Will the leader do the CIA bidding or will he work for the country?
I realize that this is a bit much for the average person to assimilate…..but try it you may just like it……besides when Libya goes to crap you can join me in saying….”I told you so”!
The key to your whole proposition here is contained in the following words: ” . . . This situation will be yet another one of our little wars that burns up resources and cash. . . .” That is the whole substance of any of this kind of thing …. who can make the money from it and how much they can make from it. BTW what is the going price on the battlefield and the bottom line of The Military/Industrial Complex for a pound of dead warrior flesh these days? I remember when it was something like 92 cents. Has that increased with the passing of time?
And what about the cost of the pound of flesh of the wounded that cannot be part of “normal” society?
Good point …
Thanx…I do have my moments….LOL
I have noticed that … more often than not I might add.
