I recall back after one of the gun violence events…there have been so many it is hard to recall the exact time it was said…..I believe it was after Newtown massacre when there was lots of talk about some sort of way to control who gets access to guns…..any way that twat LaPierre o0f the NRA made his best statement yet…..
“The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.”
I am sure that everyone remembers his babbling…..so the elaborate on his statement a little further…..
Want your fellow Americans armed to the teeth? OK, but consider this: A bystander witnessing a carjacking in Houston Saturday night opened fire and missed the assailants but shot the victim in the head, police say. KHOU reports that a guy was being attacked by two men at a Valero gas station in north Houston when the bystander drew his weapon and fired. The bystander then snatched up his shell casings and fled, and police found the victim’s Chevrolet pickup truck about a mile down the road with the attackers long gone. The victim is now in hospital in stable condition. See a TV news report on the story at ABC 13. Hat tip, Raw Story.
I feel so much safer knowing there are people like this twat out there….protecting us from thugs! (that is sarcasm in case you missed the symbolism)….
The manufactured fear is all part of the NRA plan. They make money when weapons are sold because manufacturers contribute to their obscene organization. This money allows the NRA to bribe politicians and block the will of the American people, who are sick of all this killing. The scenario you described is just the outcome that the NRA hopes to achieve. If everyone is armed to the teeth, then everyone is a potential target for the slightest of provocations. With the equally obscene “Stand Your Ground” laws that are on the books, the plan becomes rather apparent. Keep people in fear, manipulate that fear and make more money.
Just like everything political….it is all about the profit to be made…..eventually something will have to be done….
I would like to think so, but when 20 CHILDREN are MURDERED and the politicians are too afraid of the NRA to fight them ,I wonder.
Yeah….that does make one stop and think……sadly we do not think enough or look beyond the hype to see the problems this will be….more so than now….
I was so certain that Newtown would be a turning point. When the NRA and MSM basically punted, my hopes diminished greatly.
Then South Carolina could have been a moment…but they punted again…all in the name of political correctness…..
I think they punted because they are either financially beholden to the NRA or because the crime happened in a back church even though the killer was white. I don’t think political correctness was the reason they backed off.
NRA was the reason…….got protect those 2nd amendment rights you know….that is what I intended by my PC statement……
But wait! There’s more!
A bad guy with a gun can also stop a good guy with a gun if the good guy with the gun falls to the element of surprise by the bad guy with the gun and cannot get to his gun in time to stop the bad guy with it —- which probably happens far more than is reported in the gun happy media.
Will NRA use this as some sort of ad? LOL
The NRA can kiss my —- (fill in the blanks).
LOL….,I think that the NRA is doing more damage to the country than people realize….just a thought….
Nasty Revolutionary A**holes
Haha….love it!
