This will be my 10,000th post on WordPress….that is about 3.5 million words to paper (so to speak)……no wonder my fingers are getting shorter and more stubby…LOL
I would like to thank my readers for their support and their friendship…..it has made this site a labor of love and education…..and the comments have been poignant and well thought out….I could not have planned this if I had tried.
I basically started this site for a storage vessel to save on my hard drive but after about 6 months I decided that it was time for me to come out of writing retirement and as they say, the rest is history. Plus I thought it would be a good source for my granddaughter back then to get in touch with me and my thoughts after I crap out.
I can only hope that I have another 10,000 in me and the continued support of my loyal regular readers…..
Onward to bigger and better things……

Congratulations on achieving the milestone. I had made a little over 4,000 posts on another blog which I deleted because it became obvious to me that 4,000, 100,000 or even a million posts wouldn’t have made any difference at all in this old world. But I still admire you for reaching your milestone and I hope your relatives and friends are a lot more interested in what you say than mine are. Mine could give a (***) less. Keep up the good work and may you have many more thousands of posts in the future.

I do have one or two and I appreciate each and every one of you. You are all wonderful and you have all been very kind to me and I appreciate it. But people are not prone to changing their minds unless they encounter something difficult that gets their attention. My words don’t amount to a hill of beans.
Sadly people do not want to change…they want to believe whatever little thing that makes them feel better about themselves….I try to expand to get at least all sides reading maybe not agreeing but listening….
I hve never refused to allow dissenting comments on my blog because I too value the exchange of ideas more than I value ideology but I also love to stir the shit pots of controversy even if I have to do what most everyone else does and that is to invent a few facts to prove points that I sometimes talk about but often don’t care a bit about. I am not politician enough to be taken seriously but I feel that I often speak of things in the same way that most of the “Little People” like myself are thinking. I could be wrong. I am like a person with an MBA degree … often wrong but never in doubt. 🙂
It took a long time of frustration with IST before people started coming and staying….I would like to think it is because I give several different things to think about daily…me like my grandfather never wrong only mistaken from time to time…
