I am always looking for statements made by morons and in this case it is an international flair from a religious MORON about the people involved in ‘mixed marriages’…..this time the spineless slug is in Israel…..

An Israeli Knesset member has called for the killing of couples involved in mixed marriages during a speech in parliament.

Yitzhak Pindrus is a member of the United Torah Judaism, an ultra-Orthodox party that believes in a homogenous Jewish state and society.

He called for the murder of “people who contribute to miscegenation”, invoking a Biblical story about the murder of a Jewish man and non-Jewish woman while they were making love by lancing a spear through their engaged sexual organs.

He made his comments on Monday while addressing – and looking at – Mansour Abbas, a Palestinian citizen of Israel who is a deputy minister in Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s coalition and the head of the Islamist Raam party.

David Sheen, an Israeli journalist, who wrote about Pindrus’s remarks on Twitter and shared his speech, said: “Like most eliminationist lawmakers, Yitzhak Pindrus doesn’t have a Twitter account, but apparently he has a private account, because he immediately noted that his incitement to genocide all Israelis ‘who contribute to miscegenation’ was reported on that.”

These are not the first controversial comments Pindrus has made.

In March, he said that women who convert to Judaism through Israel’s army conversion programme are not Jewish and that their families should go into mourning. He used the Hebrew word “shiksas”, a derogatory term, to refer to non-Jewish women.

There is NO room in a just world for the gutless ramblings of some religious d/bag like this slug.

Dick Yanking?

I saw this term in the title of a historical piece and had to read….surely this term meant something different than what my mind came up with…..seriously ‘dick yanking’?

You know the old saying ‘learn something new everyday’?

I did just that!

For as much as modern life can suck, it’s always good to remember how grateful we should be not to have lived in other, worse places at shittier times in the past. For a good example of this, consider what it was like to get a divorce—and have a bunch of people pulling on and inspecting your bits—in medieval England.

An article called “The Distinguished Medieval Penis Investigators” from Narratively explains just how awful the process of divorce could be for the 14th century English. In order to end a marriage, women of the time had “few grounds” other than to claim their husband was impotent—and to prove it before a court through some really creative experiments.

The article cites an annulment case from 1370 where a woman “filed for divorce … claiming that her husband was impotent.” To make her case, she produced a witness before a church court. The witness said he saw the pair “applying themselves with zeal to the work of carnal intercourse” in a barn and that, even with the husband’s brother looking on and (sorry for the detail) helping out by literally lending a hand, the husband’s “rod was lowered and in no way rising or becoming erect.”

The church court would also consider evidence from “the defendant’s friends and neighbors,” who would perform “physical inspections of genitals and breasts… to determined impotence, virginity, and pregnancy.” Married or widowed women or sex workers “might be tasked by the court with inspecting the man’s genital equipment, or they might expose their breasts and genitals to the allegedly impotent man, give him ale and tasty snacks, kiss him, and rub his penis in a warm room to see whether he became aroused.” While “ale, tasty snacks” and a handy in a warm room might not sound so bad, other divorces entailed even more invasive forms of junk-assessment.

One of the other cases mentioned in the article is from 1433. In a divorce recorded that year, a bunch of people got together at a tavern to check out the wiener quality of a guy named William as his marriage fell apart. “One Robert Lincoln testified that William placed his ‘manly rod’ in his hand,” we learn. “On another evening, three men examined William’s ‘secret manly members’ at a friend’s house. They also gave his penis rave reviews, often comparing it to their own. One testified that he himself had fathered 10 children and that ‘William’s was better in length and girth than [my] rod ever was’. Another reported that William Barton had ‘large and fit testicles…’” Some of the women involved disagreed, with one testifying that “his rod was of no value.” We can picture William, moping at this comment after his dick had initially received such glowing public praise.

The Question Of Marriage

All the rage on Twitter, in blogs and in the news is the question of marriage…..most notably that of same sex marriage.  But all this back and forth, the proclamations of doom and the sheer amount of lunacy around the subject.

I have not posted much on this for this is none of my business who a person marries……it is a commitment by two people to each other……and in that it is a personal and a private decision that NO one should have a say other than the two people.

Have I made myself clear?

But the subject of marriage peaked my interests and I did some surfing in the more radical, looney tunes Right wing blogs on the subject……I just wanted to see just how ignorant these morons can be.

I eventually found a subject that I felt passionate about….interracial marriage and how it was at one time illegal in certain states, most of whom were in the South.

But first a little background…..I am a product of an interracial marriage…..my father was white and mother was Native American, Apache to be exact.  My daughter is the product of an interracial marriage……her mother is Thai.

With all that said I will continue this thought……when I was working for the state housing authority we were always dealing with people of interracial marriages and at one point one of my co-workers and and with a little participation from a couple of other workers were talking about this situation…..my co-worker was against it because he said it was difficult to decide which culture the child should be raised in…….I let him talk and quote the Bible (I guess) and then I said that is would be a simple decision.  He looked at me roughly and said how so?

I would raise my interracial child as an American.

The debate ended about there.

Okay all that background stuff out of the way……I found a site where these people were almost violently opposed to interracial marriage…..they want to go back to the days of Jim Crow….one even quoted the judge in the Living v Virginia…..a mixed race couple that were being persecuted for being married……

At the age of 18, Mildred became pregnant, and in June 1958 the couple traveled to Washington, D.C. to marry, thereby evading Virginia’s Racial Integrity Act of 1924, which made interracial marriage a crime. They returned to the small town of Central Point, Virginia. Based on an anonymous tip,[8] local police raided their home at night, hoping to find them having sex, which was also a crime according to Virginia law. When the officers found the Lovings sleeping in their bed, Mildred pointed out their marriage certificate on the bedroom wall. That certificate became the evidence for the criminal charge of “cohabiting as man and wife, against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth” that was brought against them.

The Lovings were charged under Section 20-58 of the Virginia Code, which prohibited interracial couples from being married out of state and then returning to Virginia, and Section 20-59, which classified miscegenation as a felony, punishable by a prison sentence of between one and five years. The trial judge in the case, Leon M. Bazile, echoing Johann Friedrich Blumenbach‘s 18th-century interpretation of race, wrote:

Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And but for the interference with his arrangement there would be no cause for such marriages. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix.

On January 6, 1959, the Lovings pleaded guilty and were sentenced to one year in prison, with the sentence suspended for 25 years on condition that the couple leave the state of Virginia. They did so, moving to the District of Columbia.

The site I was on was this old fart racist that said that the judge’s statement should be the RULE of the land……of course I could not let that go without voicing an opinion……

I explained to him my ancestry and said……If we are to live by that statement then it is time for…..ALL YOU HONKIES GO HOME!

Something To Look Forward To!

There are many things things that we voters have to look forward to…..like all the gun laws that allow guns in bars and churches and………but there are some things that are just to moronic for words…….speaking of moronic……Oklahoma comes to mind……..

They have a couple of laws being considered that even the moronic would find moronic……

In response to a federal court ruling that Oklahoma’s same-sex marriage ban is unconstitutional discrimination, a state lawmaker says he wants to skirt the equal protection argument by banning all marriages in the state.

“[My constituents are] willing to have that discussion about whether marriage needs to be regulated by the state at all,” Rep. Mike Turner (R) told News 9. He said the idea has the backing of other conservative lawmakers, and could be achieved through a shell bill he filed in the state legislature, intended to adapt to any court rulings on same-sex marriage.

Oklahoma tried a similar tactic in November to avoid granting military benefits to same-sex spouses, by stopping spousal benefits for all married couples at state National Guard facilities. But the state remained in technical compliance because couples could obtain National Guard IDs from federal facilities in the state.

But wait!  Would that not make couples living together for procreation be living in sin?

It’s not over…..if you live in Oklahoma and are considering trying to lower your electric bill…..the state has a deal for you……..

“Paul Monies reports at NewsOK that Oklahoma’s legislature has passed a bill that allows regulated utilities to apply to the Oklahoma Corporation Commission to charge a higher base rate to customers who generate solar and wind energy and send their excess power back into the grid reversing a 1977 law that forbade utilities to charge extra to solar users. ‘Renewable energy fed back into the grid is ultimately doing utility companies a service,’ says John Aziz. ‘Solar generates in the daytime, when demand for electricity is highest, thereby alleviating pressure during peak demand.’

The bill was staunchly opposed by renewable energy advocates, environmental groups and the conservative group TUSK, but had the support of Oklahoma’s major utilities. “Representatives of Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. and Public Service Co. of Oklahoma said the surcharge is needed to recover some of the infrastructure costs to send excess electricity safely from distributed generation back to the grid,” the Oklahoman reported.

“We’re not anti-solar or anti-wind or trying to slow this down, we’re just trying to keep it fair,” Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. spokeswoman Kathleen O’Shea told the Oklahoman. “We’ve been studying this trend. We know it’s coming, and we want to get ahead of it.”

Gee….our society is just getting so…..so…..so…..PETTY!

Blame It All On Men!

When I was married it seemed that I was being blamed from everything to tall grass to the crucifixion……and you hear that a lot……whatever it is….it is a man’s fault……

But should we blame us dudes for everything?

Okay there has to be a line not to cross…….but this?

A study by evolutionary geneticists at the Canadian school concludes men’s partiality for younger mates made fertility futile in older women, and that gave rise to menopause. Highlights, per Discovery News and the BBC:

  • A popular previous theory: the “grandmother effect,” in which women were believed to have evolved to lose fertility at an age when they might not live to care for a child. So, menopause created an inability to reproduce.
  • The new theory: It happened the other way around: A lack of reproduction spurred menopause. The team reached this theory of “preferential mating,” using computer modeling. Says the study head, “There is evidence in human history; there was always a preference for younger women.”
  • The detractors: An evolutionary biologist tells the BBC it’s actually the opposite: “I think it makes more sense to see the human male preference for younger females largely as an evolved response to the menopause.”
  • Fascinating fact: Menopause is very, very rare in the animal kingdom.
  • Interesting side note: The study head adds that the trend toward later childbirth could delay when women go through menopause (in the UK, the average is at age 52). “The social system is changing … with the possibility of menopausal age being delayed.”

Obedient Wives Club

My last day of ZEN….my last day of total relaxation and contemplation……my last day of sanity……oh well here goes….

I remember a talk I had years ago with my grandfather on marriage….NO! Not that talk….but rather what to expect……he told me there are two things to remember…..1–women marry men because they want him to change…and he does not….and 2– men marry women and hope they will not change….and they do….and that most assuredly involves sex……

Now here is a good idea? (sarcasm)

Malaysian politicians and feminists are furious about a new “Obedient Wives Club” that urges women to provide “prostitute-like” sex to avoid domestic violence and keep their husbands faithful, reports Reuters. The group, started by a group of Muslim women who also support polygamy, says women must believe in God and be hot in the sack to keep the peace. “A man married to a woman who is as good or better than a prostitute in bed has no reason to stray. A woman must do all she can to ensure his desires are met,” Rohaya Mohamed tells the Straits Times.

So if women screw like a high paid call girl they will keep their hubby happy and the abuse will cease, is that about it?  What a crock of crap!

Of course, this has taken a hit from activists….

The proclamation has unleashed a storm of criticism. “To hinge fidelity, domestic violence, and the fulfillment of a husband’s responsibilities purely on a wife’s capacity to be obedient, stimulate sexual arousal is not only demeaning to wives, but to husbands as well,” said Shahrizat Jalil, the minister for Women, Family and Community Development. Added the director of rights group Sisters-in-Islam: “Abusive men often use women’s behavior as a sick justification, but in the end, their actions are their responsibility.”The proclamation has unleashed a storm of criticism. “To hinge fidelity, domestic violence, and the fulfillment of a husband’s responsibilities purely on a wife’s capacity to be obedient, stimulate sexual arousal is not only demeaning to wives, but to husbands as well,” said Shahrizat Jalil, the minister for Women, Family and Community Development. The last line says it all for me.

If men would be truthful then they would admit that their “significant other” would be a lot more bearable if they had sex like a hooker….but to come out and say it in no uncertain terms is just…..well stupid!

Will We Ever Enter The 21st Century?

I live in the cultural wasteland known as Mississippi and I have been critical of just about everything in the state, especially the government and its leader Haley Barbour…..but there are other things in the state that just does not hint that it will ever enter the 21st century……..I like to say when you cross into Mississippi there is a sign that states, “Now entering Mississippi…..Set your watch back 150 years”……

The Dems lost Mississippi with the approval of the Civil Rights Act and it has NEVER come back and it most likely NEVER will….for you see racism is still a driving force in the state….

In the past, it was illegal to have more than one illegitimate child and until recently it was illegal to be in a mixed marriage…just to name a few of the laws we have had to deal with in the past….in a recent poll, Mississippi was named the Most Conservative state in the Union……and most of the polling indicates that racism is NOT dead in the state……of course, they all try to hide it with things like, “I have many friends who are black”….this one is used lots and is a key word and phrase when you hear anyone talking about race……

And since Mississippi has the title of Most Conservative I found a poll along those lines on the blog of Jonathan Turley, a constitutional professor….

A poll released this week shows that 46% percent of Mississippi Republicans believe that interracial marriage should be illegal. That staggering number is accompanied by only 40% who believe that adults should be free to marry who they want. This poll just happens to come out on the anniversary of the argument in Loving v. Virginia, 388 U.S. 1 (1967), where the Supreme Court in a 9-0 vote struck down Virginia’s anti-miscegenation statute.

The poll means that one out of two Mississippi Republicans want to return to the pre-Loving status where (under Pace v. Alabama (1883)) couples could be thrown into jail for marrying outside of their race. In the case of Mildred Loving and Richard Perry Loving, Virginia police raid their home in an effort to find them in a sexual act to bring a criminal charge but quickly changed the charge when shown a marriage license of Washington, D.C. They were charged under Section 20-58 of the Virginia Code, which prohibited interracial couples from being married out of state and then returning to Virginia as well as the miscegenation provision under Section 20-59. After they pleaded guilty, Judge Leon M. Bazile handed down a one-year sentence (suspended for 25 years on condition that the couple leave the state of Virginia) with these infamous words:

Where, Oh Where Are The Jobs?

I know, I know I am being redundant….but apparently I have to be to get the point across to the American voter…..you listened to their crap….you voted for their crap….and now you are letting them get away with their brand of crap…..what are you people thinking?

The economy sucks!  The threat of a governmental shut down looms.  Abortion and marriage are the key issues in the first couple of months of the session…..Marriage?  Yep, marriage!

The Republican-led House of Representatives is likely to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in federal court, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Calif.) said in a newly-published interview. The move would come in the wake of the decision by the Obama administration to no longer defend the law.

The decision prompted both those in favor and those opposed to the law to call on Congress to make the next move. Liberals are calling for Congress to fully repeal the law — Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) is introducing legislation to do so — while conservatives want Congress to intervene in court and defend the law.

The early statements by many prominent Republicans following the administration’s DOMA decision were muted, prompting questions over whether opposition to gay marriage had faded as an issue for the GOP base. However, Boehner told CBN that House members have been discussing their options and will make a decision on how to proceed by the end of the week.

OK, the conservs are all a tither about marriage and the definition of said…..where does that deal with jobs?  You know those silly little things that the Right uses for elections but could care little about afterwords……you would think that an economy that is FAR from recovered that the major concern of ANY politician would be the creation of jobs, especially when the “real” unemployment is running close to 15%…..but nope!  You elected officials are spending all their time at work (which is every other week and then usually only 4 days of that week) trying to kill a law, define marriage and so many others….NONE of which is doing you or your neighbor any good what so ever…….

You voted for these nitwits and only YOU can change things….but it will NOT get done while you sit on your butt or stare into your smart phone……PERIOD!

What Is He Thinking?

It is the weekend and as usual I found a story in the media that I just feel like I must comment on……and this one comes from the Reuters, which by the way have some amazingly odd stories……we at Info ink enjoy finding those stories that make us ask…WTF?

The more, the merrier is certainly true for Ziona Chana, a 66-year-old man in India’s remote northeast who has 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandchildren — and wouldn’t mind having more.They all live in a four storied building with 100 rooms in a mountainous village in Mizoram state, sharing borders with Myanmar and Bangladesh, media reports said.

What is he thinking?  Or is he high on opium?

May I see a show of hands…..how many have been or are married?

Now knowing what you know about marriage, would you want another one or for that matter 38 more?

It is virtually impossible to make a wife happy all the time….and now this dude wants to try and make 39 happy….what is he thinking?  This guy has got to be a masochist!  Why else would he want to subject himself to this type of torture?  And to beat all…they all live in the same house…..39 women (wives)…… Oh My God!  This guy is just plain crazy!

He’s Black, She’s White

Anyone that has read my stuff knows that I live in the cultural wasteland known as the “Deep South”….and in the past I have said they need to erect a sign at the statelines that read “Welcome to the Deep South, set your clocks back a 150 years”.

Yes, it is the 21st century but that makes little difference to the people in the Deep South…the area that voted against a black man in an election…..Wylie Coyote could have won the state…but they are not racists!  Just ask them…they have a pretty good way of telling you that they are not a racist….but if you listen closely to their rants…they are racists….

CNN had a story that seemsd out of place in today’s world…but then it is the South….

Civil rights advocates in eastern Louisiana are calling for a justice of the peace of Tangipahoa Parish to resign after he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple.

The demands for Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace for Tangipahoa Parish’s 8th Ward, to step down came after he wouldn’t issue a marriage license to Beth Humphrey, 30, and her boyfriend, Terence McKay, 32, both of Hammond.

However, Bardwell told Hammond’s Daily Star newspaper that he was concerned for the children who might be born of the relationship and that, in his experience, most interracial marriages don’t last.

“I’m not a racist,” Bardwell told the newspaper. “I do ceremonies for black couples right here in my house. My main concern is for the children.”

Bardwell, stressing that he couldn’t personally endorse the marriage, said his wife referred the couple to another justice of the peace.

The bride says the case boils down to discrimination.

Humphrey told CNN that she called Bardwell on October 6 to ask about getting a marriage license, and was asked by his wife whether it would be an interracial marriage. Humphrey said she was told that Bardwell does not sign off on interracial marriages.

His concern is for the children of mixed marriages….I have heard this argument many times down here in the Deep South….like what culture would they raise they children…it is a cop out…raise them as an Americans….pretty simple, huh?

But the BS about  concern for the children reaches all the way back to the beginning of the country…Jefferson, who I have heard cursed the act of slavery but his only attack on the institution was to say:

There must doubtless be an unhappy influence on the manners of our people produced by the existence of slavery among us.  The whole commerce between master and slave is a perpetual exercise of the most boisterous, the most unremitting despotism on the one part. degrading submission on the other.  Our children see this, and learn to imitate…….”

Jefferson’s only concern was what effect the institution of slavery would have on children and yet historians would have us believe that he wrote the “slavery clause” that was later deleted from the DoI.  The defense will be, “things were different in those days”….a racist is a racist no matter what day it is…..

The justice used a tired old cliche to prove that he is not a racist…..”I have lots of black friends, they even use my bathroom and have eaten dinner with them”…..I paraphrase, but you get my drift…this is they type of thing every racist in the South will use in some form or another to prove that they are a racist.

You see things have not changed much in the Deep South in 50 years…some are just better at hiding their true self from the media….and then there are the ones like this justice….as obvious as hell!
