I listen to the crap being spread by rich pundits telling us why we cannot ask millionaires to foot some of the bills for this nation…..and there are too many that keep trying to sell the old fear of “socialism”….one of the biggest is millionaire Donny Deutsch….he recently let it all hang out on Bill Maher’s show and a gentleman from Denmark has taken exception to his bullshit….and wrote an open letter to Mr. Deutsch…..

Dear Mr. Deutsch,

I noticed with interest your comments regarding healthcare and wealth on Bill Maher’s show last week. It’s not often that my home country of “f***ing Denmark” gets compared to the United States, let alone so colorfully.

You said: “My grandfather was a cop, ok. My mother was a school teacher and they worked really hard to put me in a position where I can buy the kind of insurance I want . . . If I can’t buy it for my children, we are going backwards. We’re f***ing Denmark.”

Session Will Try Again

We had Sen. Session from Alabama and then we had Jeff Sessions attorney general of the US….then we had a Session sent home to Alabama by Trump….and now we may see Session trying to recapture his legacy by running for the Senate from Alabama….AGAIN.

Sessions left DC because he was on the Trump “Sh*t List”…..and apparently he remains on that list even to this day……

Jeff Sessions is going to take a shot at resuming the Senate career he abandoned for an ill-fated stint in the Trump administration, insiders say. Sources tell the New York Times and NPR that the Republican, who served in the Senate for 20 years before becoming President Trump’s attorney general for 21 months, plans to file paperwork for a Senate run in Alabama before the Friday deadline. Sessions, who was forced out of the administration, repeatedly clashed with the president after recusing himself from the Russia investigation. A source tells the Times that after recent reports that Sessions was planning a comeback, Trump warned Sessions through allies that he would publicly attack him if he decided to run.

In the March 3 Republican primary, Sessions will compete against a crowded GOP field that includes Roy Moore, who lost the 2017 special election to replace Sessions after sexual misconduct allegations surfaced. Rep. Bradley Byrne, Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill, former Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville, and state Rep. Arnold Mooney are also vying to unseat Democratic Sen. Doug Jones. One of NPR’s sources says Sessions, who will appear on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show Thursday night, is “definitely acting alone,” without the support of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or the Senate Republican campaign operation.

Maybe someone should explain the concept of State’s Rights to our president for he apparently missed that class during his’ extensive’ education……or maybe they do not teach Civics where he went to school.

It will be up to the people of Alabama to decide who will represent them in DC…..Trump has little to say about it.

I have little use for Sessions and his policies but the people of Alabama will have to decide….will they be lead by the nose or will they act independently?

My guess is their knee pads await.

The Resentment Machine

I am sure that most of my readers have heard of the “way back machine”….well I read an article about the “Resentment Machine”…..let me explain…….

The 2016 election is over and Donald Trump won and that means that Hillary Clinton lost, right?

Then why does the president keep reliving the election could it be that even he is surprised that he won?

But for this post it is the Clinton resentment that I want to write about…..she continues to insert herself where she needs not be with the hope that someone will demand her to run again……

So far all she is doing is sniping at the candidates that she feels are not in line with her control of the DNC……..make NO mistake she is in control for the leader of the DNC Perez is deep in her pocket……

And yet she still wants to relive her loss…..is that a smart thing to do?

Only a sadomasochist would consider it a genuine prospect. A failed presidential candidate, the louse in the locks of the Democratic Party, keen to make yet another vain tilt at the White House. But in the rogues’ gallery of the defective and disturbed, Hillary Clinton can count herself as pre-eminent, a historical creature who should be preserved as a warning for the party faithful. But she refuses to lie (and lie) quietly, and has given ventriloquised clues via her husband that she might be readying for a return to competition.

The way Clinton disturbs the news bubble is through complaint heavy with spite.  She gazes at the mirror in self-loathing, and claims to spot the faults of others.  (The loathing is understandable to some degree: it was Clinton and her circle who decided, disastrously, to elevate Donald Trump as electable material ahead of rival Bernie Sanders.)  The story she bores her audience with lacks variation: The 2016 loss to Trump could never be put down to her, veteran political figure, establishment doyen.  No, that would be inaccurate for a person with the credentials for office.

A person in such a state is bound to see any contender as dangerous.  Heap upon them; dismiss them as lacking that scoundrel factor of patriotism.  Hide behind some rich, over egged notion of fact checked veracity, while casting grave accusations of foreign control and veiled treason.

The Hillary Clinton Resentment Machine

Then Clinton advised the DENC to pick someone who can win the Electoral College…really?  She could not do that then why take her advice?

Hillary Clinton on Monday urged Democrats to choose a nominee who can win the Electoral College in 2020.
 
“We have to hope that whoever ends up nominated can win the Electoral College,” she said at a discussion of her book, “The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience,” in Denver.
 
“I think several of our candidates could win the popular vote but as I know … that’s not enough,” added the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee. 
 
Someone tell the Clinton machine that still exists that she LOST her bid not once but twice…time to STFU and go make bread.

A Master Stroke In Foreign Policy

I have given my opinion on the action taken by Pres. Trump and Syria…..and I am sure that there are many out there that have formed their opinion from their favorite news source….those sources are making the case of the “poor Kurds” being betrayed by the US and how that will play with our foreign policy in the future.

All the MSM has been in the pockets of the warmongering Neocons and condemned the withdrawal of American troops….even FOX has not been in Trump’s corner for this situation.

In all fairness I want to post an article that is 100% in Trump’s corner for the pull out…….

President Trump’s decision to withdraw U.S. troops from Northern Syria is a brilliant strategic move that simultaneously achieves all of our major objectives in the region.

Perhaps because it has been so long since America had a coherent foreign policy strategy, the political establishment is aghast at the president’s action, predicting all manner of calamitous consequences. The same “experts,” however, have been responsible for the myriad foreign policy disasters that have befallen this country over the past two decades, so their discomfiture should be taken with a rather small grain of salt.

In one deft move that doesn’t put a single American life at risk, President Trump achieved a regional solution to ISIS, undermined Iran’s capacity for foreign aggression, and disentangled the United States from an alliance of convenience that threatened to create major diplomatic headaches down the road.

Contrary to claims that withdrawing American special forces from Northern Syria will enable ISIS to resurrect itself, for instance, the arrangement with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan merely shifts responsibility for the few remaining ISIS fighters onto Turkey.

The successful operation to take out ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi only makes it even less likely that the terrorist group will reemerge.

Please read this article…..like I said 100% in support on the action taken by Trump.

I agree with the troops coming home but I do not agree with allowing Turkey a free hand in Northern Syria…..it is time for the US to end its endless wars but this is not the best way to achieve that end.

But as this article states we now have a coherent foreign policy….that I cannot agree with and think it is at best wishful thinking not a reality…..plus the confidence that ISIS is defeated is also wrong.

I have seen nothing that leads me to believe that our foreign policy is coherent….chaotic yes, coherent NO.

American foreign policy is increasingly falling into disarray and incoherence. President Trump’s doctrine of principled realism, in my opinion, is the correct approach. Principled realism in international politics where nations go to war, however, requires disciplined leadership and decision-making to ensure the world does not resort to unnecessary violence. Any willingness to forego a sense of global responsibility should give pause to American citizens, allies and partners. The question here is whether this doctrine of principled realism has devolved to unprincipled realism to endemic confusion.

But then that is my opinion and I would like to hear yours on this situation……the 3 Stooges are in charge of our foreign policy…..Pompeo, Rudy and Trump……NONE know what they are doing.
