Neoconservativism in a Nutshell

This election is going to be a very important one…..will the voter decide that constant warfare and deployments are the best interests of the country?

BTW….would you like to know who won in Wisconsin?  READ A NEWSPAPER!

I have been writing about neo-conservatism for years now and in all that time few people show that they understand just what it is to be a neo-conservative.

Most think that just by calling oneself a conservative is enough….not so……I read alot of stuff everyday and I came across this explanation in a blog called Lobe’s Blog….it is an excellent explanation of the phenom we call neo-conservatism……

I’ve been asked to give a kind of Neoconservatism 101 over the next 15 minutes or so, which is a big challenge for me. It took seven hours to get through the subject with the Institute …

I bring this up now because it looks like it will be a race between Trump and Clinton for the presidency, at least right now–but who knows for sure?

If this is the case who would you think that the neocon faithful would support?  An unknown entity or a proven neocon?

The answer to that might surprise you…….

The neoconservative Right would have you believe this election affords them a uniquely tough choice. On the one hand, there’s Hillary Clinton, liberal bogeywoman and hated embodiment of the Democratic establishment. On the other, there’s Donald Trump, who has repeatedly called the Iraq war a mistake, accused the Bush administration of lying to drag the United […]

  1. A most appropriate selection for a blog post title! Neoconservativism has always been a nut-whacked ideological overview embraced by worse case scenario nutwads at their nuttiest and so … Neoconservatism should remain encased in a nutshell with an indestrictible lock and chain appled to keep it in check … forever and a day!

  2. Never been a member. I was raised in that atmosphere as a child and when I saw what it did to my family I went beserk and became a fanatic Lib and when I got betrayed by them I became a centrist/conservative/lib/independent and I have always had a nutwhakery all my own — distinct and different from the nutwaddery of all others … a superior world view sustained by Divine Energy and demonstrated by the fact that I am often wrong about things but never in doubt.

  3. Nice one…. 🙂

I’m sitting here smiling, because I’m amused. First, that anyone who reads, (by that I mean one who reads more than two or three sources for their news, and, actually has read an entire book in the last week) would be surprised by this concept… But, then, most people who read will see the word ‘neoconservative’, or even ‘conservative’, and make the assumption they know what it means. This, of course, allows them to dismiss anything that may actually enlighten them beyond their consistent need to attend to mundane matters, like going to the toilet.

Second, I am amused by labels, of all kinds…. When we think of people as a label, that limits our knowledge of them in that facet of their persona, when, in most cases, people are NOT necessarily the label they wear, even if they wear it by deliberate choice. There is always MORE to anyone than the labels they wear, especially as most of their own labels for themselves are not visible to others….

To some, I would be a liberal, even radical anarchist, an atheist, and most likely, a hippie. And, I am, in one sense, all of those…. But, to think that is ALL I am is a serious mistake, one which I don’t mind letting people make, for it makes things easier for me, mostly…. I am also a romantic zen buddhist, a curmudgeonly old fart, an educated American citizen of the world, and, a large number of other things most folks will never know…. Even ffolkes don’t know aught else but what I write, and to limit one’s perceptions of another to only what can be seen, or heard, is always a mistake….

Neocons are just more bozos on the bus…. only they’re usually more deliberately ignorant than the other bozos….

    gigoid, the dubious

PS And thanks, I needed that….

    gigoid

    1. They may call themselves anything they like but a neo-liberal is the best and most accurate….you are welcome….a little mental tease is a good thing….chuq

  4. I don’t like the term. And I certainly don’t like who it applies to either. It all leaves a icky taste in my mouth. To me, the term “Neo-Con” is essentially the political equivalent of the detestable “Urban Music.” That is to say, it’s a meaningless code-word to replace the word you actually mean, but can’t say out loud.

These days ALL music, even Country Music, is made for urban populations. Urban Music is actually code for “music played by Negros”. Yet somehow, that’s less racist than saying “Black Music”.

Neo-Cons are “new” conservatives which is equally meaningless, a contradiction in itself. Neo-Con is essentially code for “Chicken-hawk Jews who jumped the Democratic ship & commandeered the Republican Warship, solely to advance their Israel-centric agenda.” (Bit of a mouthful, I’ll admit.)

To be fair, there are some White Rappers who hang with the Neo-Con Gangstas. And the Neo-Cons were always a splinter-group of more conservative Jews. And that’s the rub. What is their top priority? Generally, it’s using America’s War Machine to kill Arabs & defend Mother Israel. Their policies are a Turducken of religious based Hawkism that combines a Jewish Armageddon mentality with a Christian Armageddon mentality. The result? …wait for it….Armageddon!!!

Nothing against the circumcised crowd, but I hate this particular group of it. First, I hate Chicken-hawks! I don’t trust cabals (especially religious ones) operating behind closed doors. They’ve also shown little in the way of loyalty to their (original) party…and their nation. I see them as a (borderline) 5th Column movement that has hijacked the American Agenda.

And I totally believe they would jump the Republican Warship in a heartbeat, if it ever returned to the traditional conservative foreign policy of Isolationism. Isolationism was one of Republican’s strongest selling points, until the neo-Cons derailed it. They’ve also helped derail Economic Conservatism by blowing the budget on MISC Industries.

I know if I were a Republican, I’d be eager to get rid of them. And I think there’s a chance that might just happen in 2016.

Oops, did I say all that out loud?
Uh-oh, is that a drone I hear overhead?

    1. In classical terms…all are neo-liberals…..no matter which side they stand……om other words “pussies”…..

      1. But “Classical neo-liberals” is also an Urban Music style term that means next to nothing. Again, the old-new contradiction in terms. However, “pussies” is a term most certainly applicable.

Because Club Neo-Con is dominated by Jews, they’ve been kept on the political outside until more recently. So if anything, these guys are like the Nouveau Riche only with power. “Nouveau-Pouvoir” if you will.

The Nouveau Riche collect Lambos by the dozen, buy flashy jewellery and generally display a lack of class & self-restraint considered “more in keeping with their origins”. Likewise, the Nouveau-Pouvoir trot around the world showing off their power; engaging in wars by the dozen, flashy displays of “shock & awe”, etc. They constantly display a lack of diplomatic class & self-restraint in keeping with their Middle Eastern “origins” (ie wrathful Israel-centric foreign policy).

Applicable kidding aside, with the GOP looking more & more RIP, I think these guys are starting to think about jumping warships again. Look for Herr Hillary to stock up on them over the course of her reign.
