I am a Bernie supporter and I refuse to let the media change my mind…..plus I am appalled at the treatment he gets from the media….they may not appreciate his politics but he is a viable candidate and as such deserves the same treatment that all others are getting….

On another note……I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton nor of her hubby…..and after living through Bubba’s policies …I cannot understand the support that Clinton has in the black community…..but the media seems committed in Clinton as the next prez and that means she gets a free ride whenever possible…..

I know you’re addicted to the political scene, and, understand why you would support Bernie. But, I have to ask, what do you have against him? If he ever gets even close to the nomination, what do you want to bet he would die, of some “unforseen” natural death, like a heart attack (brought on by the injection of a drug into his thigh, unnoticed, as he winds through a crowd at one of his rallies), or other “accident”?
Think back to the last three people with ideas to reform the American political scene, and do something good for Americans…. JFK, RFK, and, believe it or not, Richard Nixon (he was the last American politician to suggest we put tariffs in place, which the oligarchy simply will not stand for…. Free trade MUST be protected from any encroachments by anything like restraints upon the bottom line they insist upon as their right). What happened to them?
Before they could act on any of the ideas they had that would improve life for all of us, they were killed, or, as in Nixon’s case, betrayed to the point where, now, he is considered a pariah…. He WAS an asshole, but, he didn’t deserve what was done to him, after all he had done for the elite money folks….
So, for goodness sake, don’t ever expect anyone like Bernie. or that rogue asshole, Trump, who is most likely just carrying out a scenario established years ago, when Barry got put in as the faux reformer he is, fooling EVERYONE, as he is just another corporate shill, to ever get close to the White House…. To wish for that is to wish for them to die, or be otherwise destroyed by the lies at which the oligarchy is so adept at spreading….. just like any sort of shit, it flies far, and leaves a stink on all it touches….

The disgusting horse race is now about to leave the Walking Circle stage and head toward the Starting Gate which will open 2 MONTHS FROM NOW! That means all the entertaining freak-show horses the media trotted out to sucker us into watching an EXTRA YEAR’S WORTH of their coverage of a race (marathon) that inexplicably lasts a year already…..Anyway, those horses are now supposed to be walked, not to the Starting Gate, but back to their stables. The media attention they got was only meant to keep us watching the pre-game show.
Historically speaking, most of these feeble nags had no intention of entering the Starting Gate anyway. Historically, most are just in it to “test the water” for next time, or to raise their personal profile. But this time, some of these freak-show nags don’t want to go away and the voters want to keep some others around. This is not good from the media’s perspective.
First, this complicates things and complexities are bad for ratings. The idea of covering two real horse races at the same time is “way too much” for a lazy, stupid, public & a lazy, incompetent, media. Second, it embarrasses them and the media ownership class. “Attention grabbers are fine, but how can you let these broken down nags or outright “undesirables” into the actual race? Shit, Democracy might even break out!”
So, as the race actually enters the Starting Gate, you’ll be seeing a lot more “pulling in the reigns” on candidates that The Powers That Be don’t want around. This is why the race takes forever and costs so fucking much. To make sure the unwanted nags have to limp back to the stable before the race starts, or at least get stuck in the Starting Gate.
Even without paying attention, I have NO doubt there are a half dozen “serious” candidates hovering in the 1% range in the polls who are only around because they have enough connections & moneyed backers to run well into the winter, even without the votes to merit it.
Who needs voters -eh?
