I have spent many decades in the study of war and its causes…….it is a great field for war is the ultimate cause of a nation……or so we would like to believe…..

Americans are always promising and looking for a victory in any armed conflict…..the problem is that they are struck in 1945.

Wars are not the same as they were when we help save the world from fascism…..there are no clear cut front lines or a clear cut enemy.

Americans need to educate themselves on modern war and what can be expected as an outcome…..total victory is not feasible.
