Tax Cuts For All!

How many times have you heard that promise?  My guess is just about every damn election.

Let’s do a wee bit of economics…..(I can hear those heavy sighs and the eyes glazing over)…….

But let’s look at that promise realistically……if tax cuts go through then that will mean less revenue for the state/city and that will mean cuts will have to be made to fill the gap of the lost revenues……and that means that the cuts will come from the services that is for the population while all the programs for business remain in place.

To me it sounds like a master plan to kill ALL social programs….especially from a GOP controlled entity whether city or state…..

But do not take my word for it…..read this piece about the state of Kansas and its great programs of tax cuts……

The state of Kansas, where Gov. Sam Brownback’s right-wing economic program and handling of the state finances have reached comedic levels of absurdity, is now also failing at a key economic test: Keeping up with the neighboring state.

In his latest column, Kansas City Star opinion writer Yael Abouhalkah, a strong critic of Brownback’s who has made a regular beat of busting the governor and his advocates, highlights the newest data from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics, which show the disparity in j

Keep these types of problems in mind before you vote for some “promised” benefits from massive tax cuts……tax cuts screw everyone but those in the circles of power…..your benefits are at jeopardy and you want to give them the keys to the family car….tsk….tsk…..tsk!

But what should I expect from a culture that thinks Reality TV is good and informative TV?

  1. I don’t want tax cuts, I want the rich to pay their fair share! Our infrastructure and schools are shit. The homeless and hungry are NOT just brain dead, drugged out, illegal immigrants or have behavioral problems. AND so on and so on and so on! dru

    1. Tax cuts is all the GOP has…..voters flock to a con job….society needs the revenue or we will all be homeless soon….chuq

  2. Excuse me, but, why the fuck should we pay them in the first place? Didn’t we have a revolution about this a couple hundred years ago?

The moment a people allows their governing body to assume the right to collect taxes (and the people MUST agree to that, or it won’t work), they have given up their freedom. We now, in our lifetime, pay taxes on everything we do. Get born, live, work, get sick. get well, have children, and die… everyone of those events is reason enough for them to tax it. Even though we pay a 25% tax on our total income, they tax the rest of what we make with sales taxes, and each of our basic needs, such as warmth, light, and food, is taxed….

Fuck ’em. I say, not only do we need to cut taxes, I think we should just get rid of 90% of them altogether, as they are nothing more than a way to keep the populace poor, and unable to do anything other than try to live as best they can on the dregs left for them.

The only tax we should be paying is a flat rate tax to each level of government, and the total should never be more than 10% of our total income, Anything else is just manipulation, and greed in action.

Taxes don’t pay for anything we need, only what the masters think we should be allowed.

      1. Grant? Grant? Who the fuck gives them the fucking right to GRANT anyfuckingthing?

Sheesh, bro. Flat tax is the ONLY fair method of administering the idea at all, and it still embraces the fucking idiocy of money, and government. If we MUST have a government, at least let’s get rid of anyone who has more money than they can spend in a year; remove ’em from eligibility to be elected at all. Get them OUT of it, because they’re all just lining their fucking pockets, and it pisses me off. Assholes.

Sorry…. I think Tom J. George M., and Tom P. would already be voicing their outrage at what this government has become. Tax fucking crazy….

What would happen if, say, 200 million people just stopped paying taxes? i don’t think they could arrest, or sue ALL of them, do you? And, I think the rest might just get the idea it’s a pretty good thing, when the world begins to shake down into something more manageable for common people.

Okay, rant done. Got me, didn’t you?

        Ha!
