2014 IST Assessment Report

Today is the last day of the year and I will start doing a year end assessment of In Saner Thought…….

This ends my 8th year as an opinionated SOB of a blogger…and hopefully my readers would have it NO other way.

This year I went over the 1000 follower mark……which to me is just wonderful…I could have more followers if only I would pay for the PR to get people here….but these people chose to follow my blog on their own and that means more to me than anything.  Thank you….Thank you…..

This year I also posted my 7500th post…..now I know why my fingers bleed and are arthritic….LOL  I do so much reading that I need an outlet and this blog is a fantastic outlet.

Comments!  You guys have helped me get over the 19,000 comment  goal….Most of them were insightful and well done…I will admit that I did have a couple trolls appear but they soon went by the wayside…..I will tolerate a lot but not some insulting twat that just wants to try an exercise what little intelligence they my possess…..they are quickly smash like the invertebrate they are…..if not by me then one of my regular readers….thank you guys.

All in all been a great year for IST and I sincerely hope that I have helped my readers understand some of the more baffling issues of the day.

Please have a great New Year’s and may the coming year bring all the happiness you can stand…….Have fun….Be safe!

On ward and Upward to 2015!

The Sony Pictures Hack and Old Confusion About Terrorism | The National Interest Blog

Now the Sony has made a hefty deposit of cash thanx to the sheer ignorance of the American people….let’s take a moment to actually talk about the “hack” and terrorism.

In case anyone is interested……

A strong counter-narrative to the official account of the hacking of Sony Pictures Entertainment has emerged in recent days, with the visage of the petulant North Korean dictator, Kim Jong Un, replaced by another, more familiar face: former Sony Pictures employees angry over their firing during a recent reorganization at the company.

Researchers from the security firm Norse allege that their investigation of the hack of Sony has uncovered evidence that leads, decisively, away from North Korea as the source of the attack. Instead, the company alleges that a group of six individuals is behind the hack, at least one a former Sony Pictures Entertainment employee who worked in a technical role and had extensive knowledge of the company’s network and operations.
