AS the year slowly comes to an end I would like to write about something that we seem to be suffering from but few want to admit it….domestic terrorism…..a subject that few are thinking about…..which does not make it go away.
Back in 2009 a report was released predicting the rise in right wing violence…..and since Obama was president the toads in Congress squashed the report…..and since it was the tools in the House then this responsibility for these attacks falls on the GOP in Congress…if they had listened then some of this crap could have been avoided……
Last year, a white-nationalist army veteran was charged with second-degree murder after he drove a car into a group of nonviolent protesters in Charlottesville, Va., killing one and injuring 19. Earlier this month, a far-right-wing army veteran shot and killed two people at a Tallahassee, Fla. yoga studio.
According to a new report posted Sunday by the Washington Post, the yoga studio victims were among at least 20 people who have been killed this year in the United States in suspected right-wing attacks (compared to “just one fatal attack in 2018 that may have been motivated by left-wing ideologies.”) This comes amid an “uptick in right-wing terrorism,” as the report puts it. The FBI has documented this phenomenon as an increase in hate crimes.

The problem is all the reports in the world cannot prepare the country for these Lone Wolf attacks…..which is domestic terrorism…..
The more we learn about our War on Terror the more we realize what a pack of crap it all is.

Sounds like try to be safe might be a more realistic go goal. I am soothing at a Starbucks inside a target waiting on my wife to buy a snow globe for a granddaughter coming to see us later today. A man was shot in the parking lot over a traffic argument a few months ago.

Seems more people killed and wounded on a normal weekend in Chicago than in a whole month in Afghanistan. Gun shots and thugs rule the night in far too many American cities.
I think that is symptom of a system….more than terrorism unless the ease of obtaining guns is a form of terrorism…..hope you had a good Christmas….chuq
Well 2018 has been a pretty shitty year for me, both domestically, and internationally. Looks like 2019 is set to be even worse, so that’s far from the old age I expected in 1970, I can tell you. 🙂
