I have been bitching about the two candidates that we here in this country have to choose from for our next president……that is only true in the minds of the two worthless candidates….we Americans have other choices…..all we have to do is look for them.
Me? I look at the issues and so far the issues are non-existent in the two major parties……instead of substance we have a silly reality show of insults and lies……….
For me the Green party offers the only alternative to a noxious buffoon on the one hand, and a representative of the corporate and military status quo on the other.
Donald Trump’s self-inflicted wounds and propensity for public meltdowns had pushed the public-opinion needle toward Hillary Clinton, according to recent polls. That may have changed a little in the aftermath of the FBI’s renewing of its email probe last week. But even so, the fears of many voters that a Donald Trump presidency might become a reality have abated.
Those fears are not unfounded. Trump’s failings as a candidate and a person are manifest, and he would be in a position to wreak considerable havoc if elected. That’s especially true at the agency level, with the judiciary and in other arenas where the president can wield executive power. The wildcard aspect of his personality poses risks that can’t be predicted, nor can anyone know the degree to which congress would be inclined to obstruct or approve his most damaging initiatives.
If you truly care about your country then for God’s sake do some research and find a party and a candidate that will work to better the nation….not some toad that is on an ego trip.

i have posted this reason on every political web site i once subscribed to; except Stein’s, and “JUST LABEL it,and Help the bees and Climate misery and Sorry to Also Say; Help all animals with a petition….yah right!
BUT.. . Better the lone cry in the cold wind than the life of continuing on the in the vein that you’re bleeding to death from. ~~dru~~
ps, I have a murder of crows circling my home…do you think it means anything. Dead cat perhaps? Oh no I hear thunder and when i hear thunder i think the gods speak. Wish I knew their language but sigh, i hardly know my own.

Thanx for the re-blog as always much appreciated….chuq
Agreed! Stein is on the ballot in 45 states, Johnson in 50 states. There are alternatives, but no one knows who they are because 1) lamestream media won’t cover them equally, 2) neither were allowed in the debates, 3) most Americans are lazy and suffering from TL;DR-itus.
I cured myself of TL;DR and found my own way. They should take this fiasco of a reality circus and turn it into the next American Horror Story: Presidential Elections. 🙂
Like I said…I look at the issues and the stands of each candidate and pick the one that closest fits my thinking…iss what every American should do but sadly they are too damn lazy….chuq
I think it’s the best advice any thinking person could give. Good for you! We in Canada won’t have a vote, not that it would change the %ages, but we will be just as affected by your choices as you will be. Any Canadian who thinks we won’t be has got to be blind as a bat. Already we can see that “our” choice for an alternative in Justin Trudeau was no different than Americans’ choice for change in Obama. As long as these politicians are tied to status quo parties, their claims are nothing but rhetoric, i.e., lies. Jill has no such ties. That, in my opinion, should immediately make her the only logical choice for change. If you you’ve gotten disillusioned with a particular brand of beer, buying a new case of the same brand isn’t going to make it taste any better: you need to change your brand.
Excellent example….kudos…..chuq
Dr. Stein is in the limelight now. However, she needs to capitalize on her chances by keeping the focus on the Party’s Platform and not by shedding any kind of a light on the others.
She needs to help build the party for future elections….
Why would she settle for tomorrow when she can do GOOD for American today?
Maybe next time around.
And there is the problem….wait for tomorrow…that is a failed reason.
Thanx….chuq
