Another attack and another round of fights over terminology……most of it is NOTHING new…most of it should be just re-blogged and save what limited mental facilities that some have…I mean the lack of brain power it takes to say the same thing over and over is just amazing…..

It seems that if you are white in America and commit mass murder then you are a sad individual with mental health problems. If you are in any way colored, you are an extremist, probably with connections to ISIS.
The Orlando killings is a good case in point – there is no evidence to suggest that the killer had any connections to ISIS or that he was an extremist of any kind but the media insist on trolling out this fear inducing rhetoric. Now that they can’t find any ISIS connection they have branded him a “homegrown extremist”.
Crazy.

How about declaring a war on “testosterone induced rage” or “Dungeon & Dragons induced isolation” or anything else that smacks of a pointless redundancy…assuming you buy into a stereotype that paints entire populations with a very a wide brush?

My question, again, is this: why is the only solution to any social problem one for which declaring WAR on it is the most efficacious option? For all our history, especially all the recent “wars”, on drugs, on obesity, on political correctness, on insomnia…. seems to be our response when reforms are indicated. Since not a single problem addressed in this way is solved, why do we continue to wage war against our problems? Can’t we think of any other methods to use?
I can. But, nobody seems to even think about anything else….
Hmm… I wonder if these “wars” aren’t just a manipulation….
