Syria: Just How Confusing Can One Conflict Be?

I love it when some pundits speak as if they have some magical insight on the Syrian conflict….always makes me smile a bit.  After reading this explain just how anyone can have a adequate grip on this situation.

Below is a piece that I wrote for my good friends at Ace News Room…..they were gracious enough to publish on their site….please stop by their place and say hello…..

I thought at the very beginning of the civil war in Syria that the situation was confusing…..we had 34+ factions fighting the Syrians, the US, ISIS, each other and God knows what else.  And t…

  1. As confusing as this…
They are also angry as hornets that the US may allow relatives of 9/11 victims to sue the Saudi royal family, which is widely suspected of being involved in the attack.
Interestingly, survivors of the 34 American sailors killed aboard the USS Liberty when it was attacked by Israeli warplanes in 1967, have been denied any legal recourse.

    1. And I thank you for the Liberty reference…I try to make Americans see that injustice…so far they cannot see it…

I am sounding like the dubious one….
    Good question…..
The ‘chosen’ people have a lot to answer for…..just by being ‘chosen’
    One day, one day…..
    I was in Crete,my favourite haunt….in a desolated area….6/7 years ago.
I met up with an elderly Israeli woman….I shared a taxi to the airport with her…
She said to me…..out of the blue….like you do…
    ‘My people are violent race’…
Then said…’ I hope I do not meet any of them at the airport as they are usually so very loud’
I felt sad for her in a way…..

  3. Confusion is a natural result when one’s data is overwhelming in some way, whether by complexity, by emotional content, by rate of output, and/or intake… or, it is the result of false data being mixed in with true, thus making it all unreliable as to validity.

In real terms, what this means is that it is easy to confuse those in those areas where conflict is occurring, as well as those observing from afar, since both groups of individuals are trained from birth to believe only certain things, presented by certain figures, in a certain manner. This makes them rigid, and unable to process information quickly, even if it is accurate. If it isn’t, they haven’t a chance in hell of understanding, and will likely just give up thinking about it.

Too many people are unable to ascertain truth, for they are unequipped to recognize it, having believed a lie, or many lies, all their lives. So, they are easily fooled, and manipulated into rash actions, or into lethargy, or simply into remaining ignorant, making them easy prey….

A bit esoteric, but, view the overall picture in Syria, or anywhere in the areas in conflict around the world, and you will find confusion, to a greater degree than reality would seem to dictate…. because people are trained to be gullible, and stupid, or they are trained to prey upon those who are so….
