Clinton’s Reliably Bad Foreign Policy

In this election I have found NOTHING in the foreign polities of the candidates that would fill me with optimism…..none more so than the foreign policy of Hillary Clinton.

I read this article and found it speaks to truth…well as truthful as can be expected from a conservative site….

It is fair to say that Clinton can be expected to conduct a thoroughly conventional foreign policy that will satisfy many people in Washington. That doesn’t mean that her foreign policy will actually be “solid” or “dependable” except in the sense that we can rely on it to be reliably misguided. One of the more remarkable things about the 2016 election is the extent to which Clinton has been allowed to get away with having such a lousy record on foreign policy. This should be a much bigger problem for a former Secretary of State than it has been for her. She has the distinction of having supported every U.S. military intervention of the last twenty-five years, which may make her the most consistently hawkish Democratic nominee since Lyndon Johnson.

In my opinion……if Clinton wins she will NOT change a thing in our foreign policy field……we will be up to our butts in conflicts and war…..if that is what you want for this country then Clinton is your candidate.

  3. What amazes me most about all the political reasoning being used in today’s world is that I sense there are still people out there somewhere who must actually believe that this trainwreck of a government can ever right itself again. With the size and diversity America must cope with and with the ever-increasing tendency for America to segment into cultural nations with the nation, this ideal is never going to ever happen. Unity is a wonderful concept but I do not think it will ever apply to America again.

    1. Sadly you may be right……unity is a thing of the past and that can be nothing but trouble to come. The problems have just begun, my friend.

      1. Meanwhile…..
Today Gensler is Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign finance manager. OhOhOh…
        I always follow the money!

        Stormy times ahead….

  4. You’ve got this one just right. Say what you will about Obama, but he is at least trying, in his incremental way, to move things in a different direction in foreign policy. If Clinton was already President, or one of the Republicans, we would be back in Iraq and Syria in full force battling ISIS. Instead, with Obama as President, we aren’t. Yes, he has made mistakes, but I much prefer his approach to what Clinton or one of the Republicans will bring to the office. A year from now, we’ll back in full on war mode.

  5. Forgot to add this … I think this is why the “protest” candidates (primarily Sanders and Trump) are doing as well as they are. People are timed of same old, same old. And Clinton is nothing if not same old, same old.

  6. SIGH…..

I am not sure just why the state of today’s world comes as such a surprise to so many people. Hillary is a product of her time, the perfect candidate, completely without morality, or any desire to maintain any sort of connection to the people she preys upon (sorry, can’t call anything a politician does ‘service’). She is a corporate shill for whomever will give her the money to be the first American woman president (please note, I do not capitalize that word anymore when used to apply to any American politician; respect must be earned…), and will do, or say literally anything to achieve that end. She has been jockeying for this position since she manipulated Bill the Wastrel into office, so, why is it such a surprise?

Second, this country, and the world at large, has not seen a single day without violence, somewhere, since before I was born. The current state of affairs is exactly how the corporate influences who have bought all the governments there are today want them. They are warring with each other to gain market controls according to their own agendas; political activity you see is merely a reflection of those agendas, according to which corporations own which countries. There will be no peace, at all, until we, the people, can figure out a way to end their reign of idiocy…

Unfortunately, to do so, everyone will have to give up their religions, their belief in the goodness of their government, and, their belief in the value & importance of money. Without those changes, we will all be dead in less than two hundred years. Count on it; these idiots believe they can cheat death, and so far, nobody has figured that one out. They won’t, either….

It’s a fucking mess, alright, and we are ALL to blame for allowing to happen….

    gigoid, the dubious

    1. The problem is that most Americans are fucking clueless……I try to make them at least have a thought or two…..I mean they are impressed by slogans and applause lines….they need all the help they can get….damn! I need a drink…LOL chuq

      1. Aye, that face is what stimmed my comment… ugly X 3…. No compassion, no tolerance, no soul in it at all…

        gigoid

  7. Hillary Clinton really is the last person I would trust in the Oval Office. Her reaction to any crisis is the use of force. From Syria to Libya and just about everywhere else, she has proposed intervening militarily in some way. We shouldn’t put this war hawk in the White House.

    1. THanx for the follow and the visit….I have been writing this same thought for a year now….we will be fighting even more wars of intervention….chuq

      1. Yeah it has been a pretty consistent point of mine as well. It is impossible to ignore that she was the biggest hawk in the room when it came to every major military decision, even more hawkish than the Secretary of Defense and sometimes the military brass.
