The Reign of Absurdiocy

I wish I had written this….I have said the contents of this press in other words…..but this one is to the point and well written……

There is no such thing as “international terrorism”. To declare war on “international terrorism” is nonsense. Politicians who do so are either fools or cynics, and probably both. Terrorism is a weapon. Like cannon. We would laugh at somebody who declares war on “international artillery”. A cannon belongs to an army, and serves the aims […]

  1. How many different issues do they think can be solved by ‘declaring war on…’ it? So far, NONE of our Wars on Anything have solved a single issue. Why do they even think it will? War is not a method for solving problems, it is merely a human form of entertainment, for those without humanity. War has never been, nor will ever be, a permanent solution to anything. Period. No war has ever created a situation which lasted beyond the death of whoever’s purpose it served to employ. It all goes back to that statement from Hermann Goerring, made at the Nuremburg trials, when he described how leaders get the people to follow them to war.

“the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”

How many times since 2001 have our leaders employed this technique? Too many to count….

They aren’t leaders; they are, plain and simple, predators.

gigoid, the dubious, with damn good reason

      1. Jack Reed back in the day was asked what the war with Mexico meant…he paused and said….profits. chuq
