Have you noticed that the rhetoric aim at Russia and Putin is getting louder? Even the GOP candidates are fanning that flame……it seems the neocons do not have enough people to hate they had to go ans stir the pot over Russia.
I have posted on the chance that Russia could arm the Syrian army of Assad…….my concern is mostly SAMs……those missile could be used against American and coalition pilots…..
But some on the Hill and others in the media are really pulling the trigger on Russia…..nice right? Just what we need another group for mental midgets to feed the echo chamber on the Right.
But is Russia the looming problem that some are screaming loudly about or is it just another game played at election time?
Keep in mind that Russia has had a long history with the Syrian government……but it sounds like more these days, right?

I would like to know why Russia sees a need for air defenses in Syria since ISIS doesn’t have an air force. I think the presence of Russian air defenses is a statement to The United States that Russia intends to take control of the Syrian problem and that they want us to butt out — or to play by their rules.
Russia has been arming Syria since the 1970’s…..but it makes good fodder for sites like Infowars, etc
It also makes someone who notices their current intense build up think of it as a possible threat.
