Okay I lied. I was going to spend a quiet day in meaningful contemplation and then I saw this story….and BAM! I had to say something…..
The one person that shows less intelligence than Trump is the bitchy mouth of Sarah Palin…..and after a time of relative silence she comes forward and illustrates her stupidity….yet again…..
Sarah Palin has waded into the Donald Trump-Jeb Bush debate on language, and come down decidedly in favor of Team Trump. “It’s a benefit of Jeb Bush to be so fluent, because we have a large and wonderful Hispanic population building America, and that’s a great connection he has with them,” Palin told CNN. “On the other hand, I think we can send a message and say, ‘You want to be in America, A, you’d better be here legally or you’re out of here. B, when you’re here, let’s speak American. … Let’s speak English.” She also defended Trump’s recent foreign policy gaffe, saying, “I think I’d rather have a president who is tough and puts America first than can win a game of Trivial Pursuit.”
All the praise might be so much job-shopping, by Palin’s own account: “I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind’s use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations.” That said, per CNN, her tenure would be short-lived: “I’d get rid of (the Energy Department). And I’d let the states start having more control over the lands that are within their boundaries and the people who are affected by the developments within their states. If I were in charge of that, it would be a short-term job, but it would be … really great to have someone who knows energy and is pro-responsible development to be in charge.”
I know that since Trump made his now infamous statement about immigrants it has become a hot button issue….but that does not excuse mental midgets from stating bullshit.
Let me help Ms. Palin…..we here in the good old US of A speak English……if we spoke American then we would be speaking in the tongues of the Native Americans……

Actually, most people really need to shut the fuck up.
In my naive youth, I used to think that elites unfairly hogged media space. There was too much consensus and “gate-keeping”. There was not enough variety in the topics and opinions that were allowed to be heard. I obviously had waaaaaay too much faith in ordinary folk. That, or ordinary folk were actually much smarter than they are now. Both statements are probably true. Either way, I wish the “gatekeeper” era was still around.
One thing that the rise of the Inter-webs has made abundantly clear is that most people’s thinking processes would be substantially improved by the rapid injection of one, or more, bullets into their brains. For the vast majority of modern North Americans, flat-lining would actually be an improvement. Most people are so stupid and self-obsessed these days, the pinnacle of their intellectual activity on any given day is the posting of a “selfie” of them eating breakfast on Loserbook. Worse yet, they think it’s worthy of the entire world’s attention. Even worse than that, most people dedicate a good chunk of their day to such meaningless bullshit. Every single one of them really need to shut the fuck up!
As for the dim witted media slut whose name I shall not speak (lest I encourage her)…. Forget being nominated for VP. You could write that off as a stupid, desperate, mistake of a senile, old, man under immense pressure. However, the idea that this vacuous idiot STILL gets handed a microphone on a regular basis is proof that there is a very large market for drooling imbecility, even among the minority of folks still interested in the more intellectual category of “News”. As a group, they represent our “best & brightest”. They drive our democracy.
Just imagine what that says about the folks operating BELOW that intellectual level. They are the overwhelming majority that the rest must carry on their backs.

Hope you had a good rest of the day off, chuq. I watched Palin on CNN and was so surprised (maybe I shouldn’t be) to see her again after her “hiatus.” She should have stayed there. It is insulting that CNN would use up costly on air time to subject their followers to such drivel. I wonder if any of their sponsors complained.
She is like Cheney…their time has past let it go…..
