The upcoming debate on the Iran Deal is going to be a complete theater outing…..Israel, who opposes the deal will be offered massive aid in an effort to bribe them into some sort of agreement on the deal……
After the effort and the cash that Israel has gone through to fund the opposition to the deal….will it be enough to keep them quiet on the inevitable outcome of the vote?

To answer my own question….NOTHING we do will be enough to keep Israel and its nose out of the deal…..in other words the US will waste time, money and resources trying to placate Israel just to fail after all the shouting is done……
Why waste the time on them anyway? Especially when the outcome is so damn predictable.
Update: News has come up that Obama got his 34th Senator on his side……they, Obama Admin, is claiming victory…..but as I have said….do not count them out yet!
As an outsider looking in, the US looks so utterly ridiculous in its pandering to Israel. Like some big cartoon dope. It’s horrible to see. And don’t get me wrong, I know many Israeli’s and count them among my most interesting friends. Israeli’s are (for the great part) excellent people. Their government is the horrible thing, and they play the US like a toy.

Travelling through India you will see signs posted outside hotels: “No Israelis.” They have a terrible reputation for travelling in groups and being both violent and stingy. It’s a funny country. Over 50% of the country are atheists… but 15% are among the most superstitious people on the planet. Tel Aviv and Jerusalem might as well be in different countries, on opposite sides of the earth.

It’s true. Blew my mind when I first started seeing the signs, but it wasn’t an aberration. From Delhi to Jaisalmere I saw them.

The ones I saw in Goa, Anjuna market some moons ago ,were poor, poor, kids who were we drugged up and confused…..gone tribal they had, very grim, mind you so were the police!
I used to watch them and their canes….not the best place to be. 🙂
