The Strict Abortion Ban That Abortion Foes Fear | Mother Jones

We have a new Congress but the same types of people that will run the country…..I weep for our future.  I was duly surprised to hear that the GOP lead Congress would offer up an abortion bill……Okay that is a lie….I do enjoy being a smart ass……

The new bill is so much crap that even some anti-abortion people will oppose it……read it and enjoy……

  1. Yes, you so do love being a smart ass! <3 I'm anti-abortion, but I assume you assumed that. I attempted to read the document but got distracted by other events in the house. I will say, while there is a majority of GOP, there still is the Liberal Left to put up the fight. And, it will never get signed by POTUS, so you have nothing to fear from the new populous of GOP gears in the political machine that is Washington, DC.

    1. To you tht is a private decision that is made and NO one should invade a person’s privacy. There are issues that need to be dealt with more….and states are mvoing to do what this bill implies…..why not states handle it?

      1. I agree, chuq, the Federal government it taking too much ‘control’ where the states should be allowed to decide. This is also why I believe that the Dept. of Education needs to be abolished. Leave that to the States, and ultimately, to the school districts, where the PARENTS make the decisions on the school board, not the Federal gov’t giving the State’s incentives and the States cramming the Federal mandates down the throats of the parents. Its no wonder why more and more parents are choosing to homeschool their children. And the public school system has even created their own homeschool! Yet, the schools cry out they are overcrowded, and cannot manage the students they have, but they thumb their nose at the homeschooling families… who still pay their school taxes, btw., and should be able to use the schools after hours, for meeting, or Physical Education or whatever they want to use the school for. But they hit road block after road block.
