Politics: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

SH*T! The pres vetoed the Iraq Bill–please raise your hand if you did not see this coming.

What does this mean? It was a game play by parties for political reasons. The Repubs can use the veto in the campaign saying that the Dems do not support the troops. The Dems will say, see, the pres does not want to get out and has no mstrategy for exit.

The Congress and the Pres will sit down and bang out a compromise, since an override is out of the question. My question is, why not do this in the beginning and avoid all the wasted time and resources? Because it would not have been politically advantageous to have done it in the beginning.

A Daily Rant

Just a few thoughts I had spinning around in my head.

When did poker become a sport? I missed it.

How long will the simpltons be inthralled with Britney, Smith, Gere and Baldwin?

NASCAR–drive fast and turn left–and how is that entertaining?

When will national news media report on issues that actually pertain to the nation? Most of it now is regional news and I personally do not give a sh*t about it. I does not involve me or my area move on. I mean I thought there were local stations for that type of news. I could be mistakened.

Reality TV—never mind, my opinion contains too many 4 letter words.

UFC–will it be the next gladiator games?

Why are a dog’s lips black?
