Into A Stormy Night!

The much anticipated interview with Stormy Daniels has come and gone…..the of a tell-all was not the case……

In her much-anticipated interview with 60 Minutes, Stormy Daniels recounts a threat she received in 2011 about staying quiet regarding her alleged affair with Donald Trump. Daniels told Anderson Cooper that the threat occurred in the parking lot of a fitness center in Las Vegas, a few weeks after Daniels had for the first time agreed to tell her story to a gossip magazine for $15,000, per CBS News. “A guy walked up on me and said to me, ‘Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,’ ” Daniels said. “And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, ‘That’s a beautiful little girl. It’d be a shame if something happened to her mom.’ And then he was gone.” The magazine, a sister publication of In Touch, never ran the story because Trump’s lawyers threatened to sue.

Daniels says the matter largely ended there until Trump won the presidential nomination five years later, and media sites began approaching her. That’s when she says she accepted $130,000 from Trump attorney Michael Cohen to sign a non-disclosure agreement. “They made it sound like I had no choice,” Daniels said. She added that there was no threat of physical violence. “The exact sentence used was, ‘They can make your life hell in many different ways.'” Anderson asked who she meant by “they,” and she replied, “I’m not exactly sure who they were. I believe it to be Michael Cohen.” She said she agreed to the deal “because I was concerned for my family and their safety.”

I think this interview fell to the floor with a very loud “thud”…..Daniels answers to the soft ball questions were generalized and not as telling as the interview had been billed.  Cooper missed several opportunities to expand this conversation and he was shooting blanks. What did we learn?

Photos and messages? Daniels declined to confirm whether photos or text messages that back up her account of the affair exist, the Washington Post reports in its list of five takeaways from the interview. She said her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, recommended she not discuss such things. When Cooper told Avenatti he could be bluffing, the attorney said: “You should ask some of the other people in my career when they’ve bet on me bluffing.”

he wasn’t attracted to Trump. Unlike former Playmate Karen McDougal, Daniels said she wasn’t physically attracted to Trump, who was 33 years older than her at the time of the alleged encounter in 2006, USA Today reports. She added, however, that the sex was consensual and she wasn’t “a victim.” The adult film star told Cooper she had sex with Trump once, without protection, in 2006 after he told her he might be able to get her on The Apprentice. She said when she asked about Melania Trump, who had given birth to Barron a few months earlier, Trump told her they had “separate rooms and stuff.”

The spanking. Daniels said she spanked Trump with a magazine that had his face on it, but it was more playful than erotic. She said that when she joked about spanking him with the magazine he had been boasting about, “he turned around and pulled his pants down a little—you know, had underwear on and stuff, and I just gave him a couple swats.”

A cease-and-desist letter. After the interview aired Sunday, Brent Blakely, a lawyer for Trump lawyer Michael Cohen, sent a cease-and-desist letter to Avenatti, complaining that he had been linked to the alleged threat, the New York Times reports. Cohen “had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with any such person or incident, and does not even believe that any such person exists, or that such incident ever occurred,” the letter stated.

“You remind me of my daughter.” Daniels told Cooper that Trump told her she reminded him of his daughter, the AP reports. “He was like, ‘Wow, you—you are special. You remind me of my daughter,'” she said. “You know—he was like, ‘You’re smart and beautiful, and a woman to be reckoned with, and I like you. I like you.” (This is just creepy)

Silence from Trump. The president has remained silent about the interview on Twitter and in person, ignoring shouted questions from reporters as he returned to the White House from Mar-a-Lago Sunday night. The Hill notes Melania Trump has decided to stay in Florida “for spring break” instead of returning to Washington.

Is she telling the truth?  That is not for me to decide….that is going to be a legal decision….but the flames are being fanned……

I’m guessing that this situation is far from over and will be used for awhile until they find something else they can milk for speculation and sensationalism…..

Sex, Lies And Bullsh*t

Sex, sex, sex……Flynn, Flynn, Flynn….taxes, taxes, taxes……say goodbye to Al Franken…….that was last year and in the mean time people are dying of disease in Yemen, nukes may go to the Saudis, Jerusalem has been made the capital of Israel……and the world continues to turn…..and in a slow burn thanx to the American president……

Let’s look at say Franken (my example du jour)……he has resigned because of his events prior to his election to the Senate and yet there is a good chance that a pedophile could be elected to the Senate from Alabama(he was not)…..my my how far we have come…..for in 1987 a candidate was forced to resign because of a photo of a young woman sitting on his lap….Don’t hurt yourself….the candidate was Gary Hart.

And today we can just say that it is “fake news” and all is okay and the candidate could skate to a win.

Lies….lies….lies…..our society is awash in lies…..lies about immigrants….lies about sexual antics of politicians…..lies about international situation…..but the biggest source of lies in our society is from the one person that needs to be truthful…..the president.

So far in August 2017 the lies are running rampant……

The hatchet job that Trump TV (FOX News) is doing on the FBI……while I personally have no love for the FBI I have no doubt that they are honorable and hardworking….the lies about the FBI has been taken up  by the cowards in the House and Senate…..these toads are regurgitating everything thing that FOX throws at the political wall.

The hard working bloggers that carry the torch for Trump continue to make excuses for Trump’s lack of any governing skills…..stock market is the Deep State that is after Trump….there is NO deep state ……..we do have a president that probably cannot pick his nose without doing harm or checking with FOX first.

Watch any “bad” news for Trump and the chorus like a Greek play, starts trying to make the case that someone somewhere is pulling the strings around Trump.

Sensationalism at its best!

Another chapter in the sexual prowess of the president…..well maybe not so much as a arrested hooker that says she has info and will trade….she will tell her story for a little freedom…..she may be a good source for Mueller because she was the bed mate of a couple of the Russian oligarchs that are in question……

A Belarusian social media star is hoping to trade information she says links President Donald Trump to the Kremlin for her release from a Thai prison on sex charges.

Anastasia Vashukevich, who has become internationally famous in recent months for her racy selfies, was jailed in Thailand for offering sex lessons without a permit, reported the Associated Press.

The self-described “mistress” of Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska was arrested with nine other Russians and Belarusians after officials received complaints about the $700 weeklong class and raided the meeting.

Vashukevich, who calls herself Nastya Rybka on her Instagram account (@nastya_rybka.ru), told the AP that she fears for her life and wants to trade information in the Trump-Russia probe for her own safety.

There is a rat under every rock.  But beyond that fact that this young lady wants to trade information for freedom there is something that caught my eye in this story……this woman was arrested for offering sex lessons without a permit…..think about that for a minute.

I think this is just too convenient…..who is she really shopping her story to?   Take a pass……this is not something we need to get sucked (no pun intended) into.

Holy Crap!

The last couple of years have been awash with scandals and most of them are of a sexual type….I realize that these things are nothing new just they seem to be more prevalent than in the past….it seems that they are an almost daily occurrence….

Just last week there were a few that involved a governor and a mayor…..

A St. Louis grand jury has indicted Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens on a felony invasion of privacy charge for allegedly taking a compromising photo of a woman with whom he had an affair in 2015, the city circuit attorney’s office said Thursday. St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner launched an investigation in January after Greitens admitted to an affair with his St. Louis hairdresser that began in March 2015. He was elected governor in November 2016. Gardner declined comment beyond a brief news release, but spokeswoman Susan Ryan confirmed the indictment stemmed from a photo Greitens allegedly took of the woman, the AP reports. Greitens was taken into custody in St. Louis and released on his own recognizance, Ryan said.

The indictment states that on March 21, 2015, Greitens photographed a woman identified only by her initials “in a state of full or partial nudity” without her knowledge or consent. The indictment said Greitens “transmitted the image contained in the photograph in a manner that allowed access to that image via a computer.” The woman told her husband, who was secretly taping the conversation, that Greitens took the compromising photo of her at his home and threatened to use it as blackmail if she spoke about the affair. A news release from Gardner says it is a felony if a person transmits an image “in a manner that allows access to that image via a computer.” Greitens has repeatedly denied blackmailing the woman, but has repeatedly refused to answer questions about whether he took a photo.

Then there is the mayor………

Investigators in Tennessee say nude photos recovered from a former police officer’s phone could be evidence of two crimes—or possibly three, since Nashville Mayor Megan Barry says if the photos are of her, they were taken without her consent. In an affidavit, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says photos from former Sgt. Rob Forrest’s phone show that an extramarital affair he had with the mayor happened while he was on duty as her bodyguard, the Tennessean reports. The photos were allegedly taken during times Forrest claimed overtime pay on two trips to Washington, DC, with Barry. The affidavit cites possible misconduct of public officials and “theft of property,” which legal experts believe refers to the overtime pay Forrest claimed. Barry, who is married, admitted the affair last month but said she wouldn’t step down.

The TBI says Forrest’s phone has also yielded evidence of 260 deleted chats between him and the mayor. Records show the TBI has seized the mayor’s phone, but she has refused to unlock it. Barry tells WSMV that she was “furious” when she learned about the photos. “If they exist, they were taken without my knowledge and without my consent. It didn’t show that I have done anything wrong or criminal and, in fact, if anything was wrongly done, it was done to me personally,” she says. The mayor says she told the TBI they could look at anything from her phone that related to the investigation, but they wanted everything between “me and my mom and my husband and my son and my attorney and that just didn’t feel right.”

This type of story is too common now for it to be news….just a couple of decades ago when the president got a BJ and you would think that the republic was doomed……now these types of stories are a yawn at best.

Anyone that is as old as I am will remember that famous blue dress from the Bill Clinton impeachment process.

If you are young and have no idea what I am referring to then let me help…..it seems the internet that gave our sitting president a BJ saved the dress that she wore and it had a stain of love on it…exhibit 1.

Deja vu—-all over again!

I bring this up because our present sitting president has had his accusations from women and one of them is a ex-porn star….well guess what……she saved the dress she wore when having sex with our president……

A new report claims that porn star Stormy Daniels for years has held onto a dress she wore during a sexual encounter with President Donald Trump — and now she plans to get it tested for his DNA.

Celebrity gossip site The Blast, which first broke news that Daniels planned to break her silence on her affair with Trump, now claims that the adult movie actress is in possession of a “Monica Lewinsky dress” that she will use as proof of her claims of her affair with the president.

“Sources close to Daniels tell The Blast the shimmering gold mini dress with a plunging neckline was kept in pristine condition after her alleged 2006 sexual encounter with Trump at the Lake Tahoe hotel suite,” the publication writes. “We’re told Daniels is planning on having the dress forensically tested to search for any DNA that proves she isn’t lying about her tryst with Trump, including samples of skin, hair or… anything.”

The article notes a potential complication with the dress, however — proving it has Trump’s DNA on it would require Trump to submit some of his own DNA so it could be compared to any DNA found in the dress.

Nonetheless, the publication writes that “any DNA that may be extracted from her dress that could possibly prove Trump was with her in the hotel room will be a big deal.”

Just when you thought it could not get any creepier….

A few days before the 2016 election, the Wall Street Journal reported that the owner of the National Enquirer paid $150,000 for a story alleging an affair between Donald Trump and a former Playboy Playmate for the express purpose of burying it. Now, Ronan Farrow of the New Yorker provides all the details, citing an eight-page letter that the Playmate, Karen McDougal, wrote to a friend. In the letter, McDougal says she began a consensual affair with Trump after meeting him at the Playboy Mansion in June 2006. “I was so nervous! I was into his intelligence + charm. Such a polite man,” wrote McDougal, who was Playmate of the Year in 1998. “We talked for a couple hours – then, it was ‘ON’! We got naked + had sex.” This was about two years after Trump’s marriage to Melania, when their son, Barron, was a few months old.

McDougal’s letter says she ended the affair after nine months, but prior to that had gone “to see him every time he was in LA (which was a lot).” Trump was careful: “No paper trails for him. In fact, every time I flew to meet him, I booked/paid for flight + hotel + he reimbursed me.” The story alleges Trump carried on multiple affairs, including with adult-film star Stormy Daniels, at the same time. McDougal writes that Trump introduced her to members of his family and once pointed out Melania’s bedroom in Trump Tower, saying “she liked her space, to read or be alone.” McDougal confirmed to Farrow that the letter is in her handwriting and says she regrets accepting the $150,000 payment—of which she got $82,500 after three men who brokered the deal got their cut. She hopes speaking out will make other women think twice before signing similar deals. Read the full story.

“Stormy” Weather

Of course this is a post about Donald Trump…..have you noticed that his supporters are just like their man crush….they are bullies, self-centered and damn right boring……just like the president……but let’s move on….by now you have heard more than you want to know about Trumpy Bear’s(registered trademark) sex life.

There is so much more and more important of a story than the sleazy side of sex…..can you remember the evangelicals and their shaping of Repub politics?

This scandal-in-waiting shows more than Trump’s sexual tastes…..it illustrates that those evangelicals that have been so front and centered in GOP politics can NO longer claim to hold the moral high ground.
Donald Trump is a man without any discernible redeeming qualities, but nonetheless I’m grateful for one thing he’s done, without really trying: He has exposed the true nature of the Christian right. For more than a decade now, I’ve been diligently writing and researching, trying to build the case that the religious right is not motivated by moral values, but by hatred of women and LGBT people — and that many of them are white supremacists, to boot. And then here comes Trump, bragging about how he likes to “grab them by the pussy” and spreading racist propaganda, and sweeps up 80 percent of the white evangelical vote, more than true-believer George W. Bush got in 2004.
I can say that I never thought I would live to see the day when evangelicals make excuses for perverted actions of a politician…..
Personally I never thought these evangelicals held the moral high ground but they were given that title by the media and self-serving Christians that never live by Christian beliefs.

It’s “Stormy” Weather

Back in the 80’s a candidate had a blond sit on his knee and he dropped out of politics…..in the 90’s we had a prez that got a BJ and was impeached….in the 2000’s a candidate had an affair and almost went to jail….and in 2016 we have a prez that is proud of grabbing women by the genitals and he is still popular….my my how times change.

And our prez may have paid a porn star for her silence over an affair….

It’s not every day that the New York Times reports on an In Touch article about a porn star, but here we are. In a follow-up to last week’s Wall Street Journal article that alleged an adult film actress was paid $130,000 in 2016 to stay mum on a consensual sexual encounter with a then-married Donald Trump in 2006 comes the In Touch article, published Wednesday. It is based on a 2011 interview with Stephanie Clifford, who goes by the stage name Stormy Daniels, and describes her meeting Trump at a 2006 golf tournament and having “textbook generic” sex that night. Among the more salacious details: that the encounter allegedly happened four months after Melania Trump gave birth, and that Trump told Clifford she was beautiful “like his daughter.” Per the article, the two met up on future occasions, with the Times quoting it as saying Trump last called Clifford in late 2009 or early 2010.

The In Touch article says it backed up Clifford’s claims via a polygraph and corroboration from an adult-film colleague and her ex-husband. Clifford has since denied the affair, and Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen, again disputed the account to the Times, calling it the recirculation of “an old and debunked story.” As far as recirculation goes, Slate Group editor-in-chief Jacob Weisberg also elaborated on his conversations with Clifford in August and October of 2016 (no story was published at the time) in a piece for Slate, writing, “The worst Trump had done, she said, was break promises she’d never believed he would fulfill.” Like the In Touch article, Weisberg says Clifford told her Trump had promised her a slot on The Apprentice

In Touch held back from publishing Stormy Daniels’ 2011 account of an alleged affair with Donald Trump after the future president’s personal lawyer threatened to sue, four former employees of the tabloid’s publisher told the AP. In Touch magazine published its interview with the adult film star on Friday—more than six years after Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, sent an email to In Touch‘s general counsel saying Trump would aggressively pursue legal action if the story was printed, according to emails described to the AP by the former employees. Daniels signed a source contract with the magazine, which said a friend and Daniels’ ex-husband corroborated her account of a 2006 tryst. She also passed a lie detector test, the magazine said.

In the interview, Daniels claims she and Trump had a sexual encounter after meeting at a golf tournament in Nevada, a year after Trump’s marriage to Melania. It wasn’t immediately clear why In Touch didn’t publish its interview during the 2016 presidential campaign despite reminders from former employees that the transcript was still available in the company’s networks, two former employees said. A spokesperson for the magazine claimed it only learned of its earlier interview after a report in the Wall Street Journal last week. She wouldn’t comment on the magazine’s decision not to publish in 2011. Despite Daniels’ first-person details on Trump, former employees said the decision not to run the story in 2011 was a justifiable business decision because at the time because Trump didn’t have the same star appeal as more famous celebrities.

Think about it……all the grief that others took like Gary Hart, Bill Clinton, John Edwards….after the media trashing these people took and now the act of sex is no big deal to the “moral majority”……plus the support remains…..amazing how times change.

Personally I care not how many these people had sex with…..all I care about is a little consistency….

The “Slap And Tickle” Effect

AS I surf through the news daily  I am amazed at the amount of news we Americans do not get because of the preoccupation the media has with all these sex scandals…..hour after hour of blind speculation and accusation….And it get worse with each passing week…..Lauer is the newest dastard.

Did Clinton scandal start this downward spiral?  Did Bubba start this fixation on the sex aspects of power?

I mean there is a whole story being built around a 21st century slavery ring in North Africa….and yet I know too much about the sex preferences of some weird judge running for an office he is NOT qualified to hold.

Yes, these are serious charges against these many diverse men…..yes their disrespect for women would fill volumes….but I ask….who did not know this was happening in our society?

Is the media going to adequately explain such behavior?

Hell NO!

This is just too easy to report than actual news….but I read an op-ed from Europe about this newest phenom for the US media….

While the Yemenis wonder whether the Saudi Crown Prince will ever stop bombing them with American weapons, and the President threatens to take on North Korea, the US media mainly talks about the sexual harassment of women by powerful men.

It all started with testimonies that a judge running for the US Senate from the fiercely Republican state of Alabama. had tried to seduce teenagers in the past. His accusers were rapidly followed by a complaint against a famous Democratic comedian turned Senator, followed by similar revelations about a famous television personality, Charlie Rose. Like broken records, the testimonies of women who were molested years or even decades ago, alternate with opinions as to the offenders’ proper punishments, superseding everything else going on in a world that the United States claims to lead.

The only mitigating factor is that the back story is more complicated than in other cultures, touching on both religion and politics. In the nineteen fifties, in boys’ fathers’ spacious cars parked in secluded places, American teenage girls allowed themselves to be ‘petted’, and the onus was on them not to ‘go too far’. In the sixties, the women’s liberation movement and the hippies brought ‘free love’ to communes and suburbia. Although the women’s liberation primer, The Second Sex, published in 1953, was written by French philosopher Simone de Beauvoir, it produced a much more robust feminist movement in the US than in Europe.

Then I read a piece in a Libertarian leaning site, Unz Review….

The current sexual harassment obsession may eventually subside but until then, matters will probably get worse. And by “worse” we don’t mean just additional victims accused of long past increasingly petty offenses. Rather, social justice warriors will soon join the crusade and their involvement will be far more odious than digging up dirt about celebrities behaving badly. But, the good news is that this involvement may eventually help cool the insanity.

Everyone in the entertainment business (and politics) knows that most young women flirt to advance their professional careers. Conversely, most men, whether straight or gay, are often governed by their libidos and usually welcome opportunities to score. The problem arises if women are a bit too sexually appealing and men a bit too amorous when a quid pro quo opportunity arises. In other words, the seduction urge is hard-wired into countless human encounters so it just a matter of how it is directed.

I say again…..I am NOT saying that these stories of sexual predators are not important but they should NOT suck all the oxygen out of the news…..and a real conversation needs to be had….as it is the talks are black and white and the grey areas are just ignored.

Is it okay to proposition a woman for sex after drinks? To initiate a workplace romance? To behave like a Casanova and bed as many partners as possible under the catchall excuse that you’re just “playing the field”? Twenty years ago those questions would have elicited a resounding “Yes! What are you, some sort of neo-Puritan?” Today the answers aren’t so clear. I keep thinking we’ve reached the eye of the #MeToo storm, only for another powerful man to be felled by lurid accusations and another think piece to spot fresh perils of untrammeled male sexuality. The topography of our sexual landscape is changing, with little indication of what it will look like once the winds have died down.

Pres. Harding Could Not Keep It In His Pants!

Yep that time again!  A history lesson to keep you informed and educated…..I love some history………history makes everything fun………you are welcome.

Warren G. Harding the 29th president of the United States…..served as prez 19221-1923…….he has the dubious distinction as being one of the worse presidents (yes, even worse than Obama) in our short history.

His presidency was choke full of scandals from the Teapot Dome to the Veterans Department……..but his most ‘wicked’ scandal was that of an extramarital affair which produced a daughter……the affair came to light after his death in a biography…….of course most of the allegations were disputed….that is until recently…….

Her 1927 tell-all book describing an affair with America’s 29th president—and claiming him as the father of her child—propelled Nan Britton to the title of Warren G. Harding’s most famous mistress. But as Britton only revealed the relationship after Harding’s death and said she’d destroyed their correspondence according to his wishes, the love affair has remained only rumor for almost a century. Now, genealogists say rumor has finally been cemented into truth: President Harding was the father of Britton’s daughter, Elizabeth Ann Blaesing, reports the New York Times. The truth unraveled when Harding’s grandnephew and grandniece, Peter and Abigail Harding, contacted Blaesing’s son, James. They agreed to DNA testing through AncestryDNA, which returned what an executive calls a “definitive answer”: James Blaesing was the Hardings’ second cousin, meaning his mother must have been the president’s child.

“It’s sort of Shakespearean and operatic,” says Peter Harding. “This story hangs over the whole presidential history because it was an unsolved mystery.” But not all of Harding’s descendants are convinced by the new evidence. A grandnephew tells the Times “it’s still in my mind still to be proven”; Peter Harding notes his own father maintained the relationship was a lie as family members believed President Harding was sterile. James Blaesing, who notes people broke into his home as child looking for evidence to disprove the affair rumor, says the DNA tests finally verify his grandmother’s claims. “I wanted to prove who she was and prove everyone wrong,” he says, adding, “She loved (Harding) until the day she died.” Writing at the Washington Post, researcher James Robenalt says Harding’s reputation as a womanizer sadly overpowers his accomplishments as president, including overseeing the first arms limitation treaty. When Is A Scandal Not A Scandal?

The newest scandal in DC proper is the one all the world is talking about…..the sex parties at the DEA…..not the ones from a couple of years ago but no…..we have new ones….it is so tacky that the head of the DEA has had to resign………

The embattled head of the Drug Enforcement Administration says she plans to retire after three decades with the agency. The announcement came amid mounting pressure for her resignation from members of Congress who questioned her handling of misconduct allegations against agents. Michele Leonhart, a career drug agent who has led the agency since 2007 and was the second woman to hold the job, had been widely criticized for her response to a scathing government watchdog report detailing allegations that agents attended sex parties with prostitutes in a foreign country. After Leonhart appeared before the House Oversight Committee last week to respond to an inspector general’s allegations that the agents had received lenient punishments, a bipartisan group of lawmakers issued a statement saying they had lost confidence in her. Leonhart will leave the agency next month, Attorney General Eric Holder said in announcing her retirement. “Michele has led this distinguished agency with honor, and I have been proud to call her my partner in the work of safeguarding our national security and protecting our citizens from crime, exploitation, and abuse,” he said, crediting her with helping dismantle violent drug-trafficking organizations.

These people need to be scrutinized closely…..but while the Congress is having their field day…..I suggest that they continue to look for these violations …….
