Let me see….a 30 something that lives with his Mama….has to have a special diet….dresses in shaman’s headdress…paints his bod…..howls…..and thinks he is related to Jesus…..would you think this dude is mentally ill?

The lawyer for the QAnon Shaman has confirmed that his client is off his nutter…..

One of the most recognizable members of the mob that stormed the Capitol has been diagnosed with multiple mental illnesses that include transient schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, his lawyer tells Reuters. Psychologists with the Federal Bureau of Prisons made the findings after testing Jacob Chansley, aka the QAnon Shaman, says attorney Albert Watkins. A shirtless Chansley was widely photographed in the Capitol building wearing a headdress with fur and horns. He faces six charges stemming from the riot, per Insider, but Watkins is now working on a plea deal in the wake of the mental health diagnoses. The test results mesh with what the US Navy found in regard to Chansley back when he served in 2006, Watkins adds.

“What we’ve done is we’ve taken a guy who is unarmed, harmless, peaceful … with a pre-existing mental vulnerability of significance, and we’ve rendered him a chocolate soup mess,” says Watkins. He says his client’s problems have been made worse because of solitary confinement. Prosecutors have generally pushed back against the notion that Chansley is harmless. They say video evidence shows Chansley inside the Senate chamber, where he called then VP Mike Pence a “f—ing traitor” and left behind a threatening note. Watkins, though, says his client is delusional and has expressed the belief that he is directly related to Jesus and Buddha.

The news has me thinking of this……it seems the Clapton is playing God again with the pandemic….

Eric Clapton is no fan of a new policy in the UK that will require people to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations for entrance into large venues and nightclubs come September. “I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present,” Clapton wrote in a Wednesday statement shared by Robin Monotti Graziadei, the same London-based architect and film producer who in the spring shared a letter in which Clapton, who has peripheral neuropathy, complained that AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine left him unable to use his hands and feet for two weeks. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the vaccine passport policy on Monday, hours after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted in the UK.

Young people flooded into nightclubs, but Johnson warned such people that “some of life’s most important pleasures and opportunities are likely to be increasingly dependent on vaccination.” “By the end of September, when all over-18s will have had their chance to be double-jabbed, we are planning to make full vaccination the condition of entry to nightclubs and other venues where large crowds gather,” he said, per the Guardian, which describes “an immediate backlash from Conservative backbenchers and the entertainment sector.” “Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show,” said Clapton, who’s next scheduled to play in the UK, at London’s Royal Albert Hall, in May, per the Guardian.

I see that health is not important….he wants to keep the cash rolling in and the public be damn.

So I think that dog in the photo has the right idea.

Clapton needs to retire to his exclusive Caribbean island resort and let the world be safe.

Mississippi Sets The Stage

My state of Mississippi has the distinction of many things…..we lead the nation on child poverty, one of the most unhealthy of states, most littered state,….on and on…..

Now Mississippi trying to be known as the state that brought down Roe v Wade…..

The Mississippi attorney general on Thursday asked the US Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade, a challenge to the 1973 law that’s been expected since May, when the high court agreed to hear a case involving a Mississippi law banning most abortions after 15 weeks. Lower courts blocked the law, known as the Gestational Age Act, and the state is appealing, NBC News reports. Attorney General Lynn Fitch said the Roe v. Wade ruling, as well as the other major ruling legalizing abortion in the US, 1992’s Planned Parenthood v. Casey, were “egregiously wrong.” She said there is an “overwhelming” case to be made for overruling them, CNN reports.

“The conclusion that abortion is a constitutional right has no basis in text, structure, history, or tradition,” Fitch said in a new brief to the justices. The request is notable, because when Mississippi asked SCOTUS to hear the case, it said doing so did not “require the court to overturn either Roe or Casey.” Politico says this brief “raises the stakes,” but notes that court watchers tend to think the justices are more likely to stop short of overruling Roe, while continuing to allow states to place an increasing number of restrictions on abortions. Axios points out the possibility that President Biden will protect abortion rights via an executive action if Roe is overturned. Oral arguments are expected in late fall or early winter, with a decision possible by June.

With a conservative ideologues on the Court this could well be the death throes of Roe v Wade….

And Mississippi will be the final nail in the coffin of reproductive rights.
