Speaking of females that want to be president.
After listening to 2 GOP debates I have learned that they all have a foreign policy by intimidation……2016 is going to be the election that is won or loss on the back of foreign policy…..the US is involved in more countries now that before Obama took office and it has been expanding ever since…….and if a Repub wins the election it will grow at a more rapid pace….
With that said…..what can we actually look forward to with a GOP win in 2016?
GOP Candidates Show How It’s Done

Thanks for sharing that very interesting article! 🙂 As a non-American I personally feel that foreign policy is potentially one of the most important aspects of the presidential campaign and, dare I say, one of the most amusing sometimes (build a giant wall amirite). Really, none of the Republicans have a very realistic foreign policy in my opinion, because all of them are generally based around ‘making America great again’, or something along those lines, because they perceive current American foreign policy to be disadvantageous to itself because Obama is so dovish.
However, I would like to point out that the world in the twenty-first century is vastly different from any other time in history. It is possible that a foreign policy by intimidation could have worked in the twentieth century (there is an argument that it has in cases such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, although there were some secret negotiations that resulted in the Turkey Jupiter missiles being removed, as well as the Reagan Victory School, although there are many lapses in that as well) but this is no longer the case.
In light of the new political climate that we live in, with China being a rising star in the Asia-Pacific both politically and economically, and Russia now no longer the ‘chastened power’ that it was in the wake of the Cold War and the end of the USSR, as well as the increasing power of the Middle Eastern Islamic fundamentalists, it now seems dangerous to try and force conflicts into a game of brinkmanship because there really is no precedent for it and the repercussions are chilling to think about. It certainly sounds good, because what American wouldn’t want to regain America’s position as top dog? It’s a very compelling way to gain popularity, but essentially what I feel the GOP candidates do not realise or acknowledge is that it is no longer possible to push another sovereign state around, because for the first time since WWII ended, many of them are now able to push back.
And a quick word of defense for Obama’s foreign policy: I actually really appreciate what he’s done; I realise that it may seem rather counterintuitive for some Americans, but from a foreign perspective I really do think that he takes his position and responsibilities as the leader of the free world a lot more seriously than most other Americans, and I do think that’s commendable.

Now for the comment…..few Americans know anything about the missiles in Turkey…most think that USSR just backed down….that is the problem with most Americans they have this superiority complex that thinks that all they do is the right thing….actually we are bullies on the world stage…
Obama has put the US into move wars than Bush…..some good ones and some not so good….Libya should have been avoided like the plague….
