Today is the 14th anniversary of the dastardly attacks by terrorists on American soil….please take a moment and remember those that died on that day and their families…..Thank you!
Saudi Arabia……today is the perfect day to post on the kingdom….why?…..some blame the Saudis for the attacks of 9/11….even going so far as to claim that they financed the entire terrorist operation…..
Let’s take a look at our Saudi problem, shall we?
For decades the US and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia have been allies the problem with that relationship is that the two entities usually have opposing views of what is best for the Middle East.
More recently the kingdom has been with the Western powers in its struggle with ISIS……that in itself is a conflict….since Saudi is the home of the ultra-fundamentalist movement Wahhabism….the same beliefs held by AQ and ISIS….the two entities that have the most problem with America and its policies. The kingdom has committed the same crimes and violence against its own citizens that ISIS is committing on other regions…..the beheadings, the public executions, the canings, 2nd class citizens made of women and the list goes on…..basically their policies are in direct contradiction to those of the US.
Recently the Saudis decided to attack Yemen because of some opposing religious group is showing gains in the country……..they have given limited assistance to the Coalition battle with ISIS in Iraq and Syria……why are they willing to go to war with a neighbor but not with a group that could threaten their very existence?
Saudi Arabia is a problem that needs attention…….

The US has looked the other way for way too long simply because the Saudis controlled so much oil….is all that about to change?
You sleep with the devil, you get burned
And they are scorching our butts now aren’t they?
Saudia Arabia is a problem that needs to be taking in a few million of those Syrian refugees since they all share a common culture, pretty much the same religious views and since the Saudis are filthy rich with oil revenues and since they have massive amounts of land on which to settle their suffering fellow-kind. I like what lb woodgate had to say about it.
A lot of the refugees are shia that is why ISIS is killing so many….the Saudis went to war in Yemen to kill off the Shia…they will not change….they want the rest of the world to do what they should be doing….
And the rest of the world —– being a bunch of bleeding heart idiots —– will no doubt comply much to their eventual grief.
Compassion is in short supply in this world….
But there is plenty of compassion for sale if anyone can afford it.
Whoa…heavy dude……my, my, do I smell a heavy dose of cynicism…….wrinkling my nose……:)
Yep…..I am a cynic….haha
My cynicism is obvious, blatant and real because I have lived long enough on Planet Earth to understand that everything runs on money and that behind every enterprise whether outwardly altruistic or not the almighty Dollar or the Yen or The Ruble or The Drachma or whatever is the driver and the means by which all manners of results — bad, good and indifferent — are achieved. Yes you sense a great deal of cynicism here because I am a realist — a pragmatist –a child of hard experience.
Phew…….remember to wear it lightly, or it will kill you! 😉
