**This post is NOT an endorsement**
I have been dealing with pain for 15 years….I used morphine and Oxycodone to control it but weaned myself once my pain management team started treating me like a four year old….I had thought about using CBD for I had heard it was pretty good with pain.
But before I jumped into that I needed to know more about this “miracle”….
Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a product that’s derived from cannabis. It’s a type of cannabinoid, which are the chemicals naturally found in marijuana plants. Even though it comes from marijuana plants, CBD doesn’t create a “high” effect or any form of intoxication — that’s caused by another cannabinoid, known as THC.
It is used for anxiety, cancer, stress, stroke, dementia, etc….
It does have side effects…..
- low blood pressure
- withdrawal symptoms, such as irritability and insomnia
This is where I pick up the jest of this post…..
I had to take my wife’s little puppy “Little Man” to the vet and when I was paying the tab there was a leaflet on the counter about CBD for your pets.
****First I need to say that I am in NO way endorsing this product or am I being compensating for this post in any way….this is solely for FYI in case my readers have an encounter with this product****
This is the leaflet front and back that picked up at the vets.
No where does this thing say why this product would be good for your pet…..instead it sounds like some Ponzi scheme or Pyramid scheme thought up by stoned hipsters.
The web site is no help about the pet thing….they do however want you to become a member so they can gig you even harder.
And I have the questions would a pet suffer the same side effects as a human?
Sorry but this whole thing sounds like a con.
I refuse to put my dog a risk because some greedy hipster wants to make more money……I want to see sound and solid research in the benefits this product would have for my dog. She means more to me than some greedy hipsters bank account.
In short…..do not trust anything that will not give you the benefits up front……grandiose claims does not convince me that it is good for my friend.
When I asked MoMo what she thought of the idea…..
In closing just a photo of the first blueberries of the season….not many at first but it is a good start to the season…
And the jalapenos are looking good for the season as well…
