We here in the US know all too well the diatribes by Glenn Beck….his continuing disrespect of the president, his far fetched comparisons, his chalk board and his weeping…(is there a Weepers Anonymous? If so, I have at least two candidates for the program)….to me he is a scary individual….but recently he became more scary….he proposes writing a history book to set all the misinformation straight…….here are a few of his “historical” facts…..
6,000 BC: God creates entire planet just for America.
27 BC: Caesar Augustus becomes first person to employ the Obama Doctrine.
1 AD: First Founding Father born.
c.1790: America achieves racial harmony.
1912: President Woodrow Wilson single-handedly proposes, passes, and ratifies 17th Amendment.
August 2, 1923 – October 28, 1929: American economy completely healthy.April 12, 1945: America catches a lucky break with death of President Roosevelt.
1968: Four British social activists release two-part treatise on progressive plot to overthrow society, commonly known as The White Album.

The sad part is that there are people today who will buy into his brand of revisionism and will most likely gain more converts if this book is actually written……
Jon stewart should sue him. Stewart already wrote two fake, silly books on the subject……….yes i know beck is trying to be serious, but it would be funny for the left to help promote the book as comedy. I would love to hear beck trying to explain that he is serious and not funny. After all, he said he was joking about beating charlie rangle to death with a shovel. Ive watched his show once or twice, its hilarious!! He should call his speaking engagments stand up comedy routines. I bet he could even get a movie deal with the wayans brothers…title… Political Movie.
You might be onto something there. Whenever someone call Beck on his ramblings, he makes the claim that he is just a comedian/entertainer.
So true…..people need to remember that he is just that…an entertainer and NOT a historian or a journalist, for that matter….

In spite of all the revisionism, there are times when truth has a nasty, annoying habit of surviving…
I mean, you have to wonder at some of these white supremacist god botherers, don’t you? So how about a little bit of reverse revisionism? Like Jews aren’t really a race at all, but a faction – just another of the many groups of Arabs and Jesus was almost certainly very dark skinned and was undoubtedly a dissident Jew – a troublemaker – a leftist outcast.
See? We can all re-write history (though I think my version is probably closer to the truth).

Is the past not good enough for these people? Or are they ashamed of it?
Why rewrite history when you can write the future? then again, if these guys cared about the future, education budgets wouldnt be slashed. I guess there will be somebody in the future to write out the clusterf*ck of our present, if anyone can still read and write in the future.
