From the VOMITORIUM
For six months or more the GOP was on a rile against the Dems focusing on Health care while millions were unemployed….and to show their disgust the election battle plan was to focus the rhetoric on the lack of job creation…….it was a great campaign plan….it worked and the GOP won an overwhelming majority in the House……..now we can get back to work as a country, right?
Well, the mental midgets that elected this huge majority can be happy now……you were promised that the GOP would focus on job creation……and instead for the first month or so of their new administration and what have they focused on…..HEALTH CARE! Sound familiar?
They succeeded in the House on calling for the repeal of the health care act, but it will go NO where in the Senate……they had their first success as the new majority and their next big push will be jobs right? Well, not exactly……according to Newser.com….
House Republicans unveiled their next major legislative push yesterday: the No Tax-Payer Funding for Abortion Act, which, as its name implies, would ban federal funding of abortion. It would essentially make permanent the Hyde Amendment, which does the same thing but must be renewed each year. They introduced that legislation alongside the Protect Act, which would specifically ban abortion funding under the health care reform law. Independent fact checkers have said that the health care reform law won’t allow for abortion funding, Politico points out, but Republicans insist that the wording is too vague. Abortion legislation has a habit of dying in committee, but this time it’s getting a major push from leadership. John Boehner designated it HR3 “which speaks volumes about priorities,” says the bill’s main sponsor, Chris Smith. “This leadership … believes in this. This is not about political expediency.”
Are you so called independents happy with the vote that you flushed down the toilet? So far jobs seem to be the furtherest thing from the minds of the GOP…..tell me when would those jobs issue come up? Apparently putting Americans back to work is NOT as important as you were lead to believe….ya think!
Yeah, well – it’s all so predictable I can’t really think of a comment… sorry!
But where are all the jobs bills they were promising? Nothing new here is there?
What jobs? You know there are no jobs and they have no answers to produce them – why do you listen to these people? 😆
