Something Different This Week

DC will be a lonely place for the next couple of weeks…..all the spineless slugs are home schmoozing donors out of their cash,,,,Foggy Bottom ought to be a silent place with the exception of the MSM and their rush to drive the news.

It is Christmas week and readership will be down from normal and since I have 40 drafts in waiting….I have decided to spend this week posting the drafts I have written…..some are timely and some are a bit out of date……but of course there is NO rest for the Professor’s Classroom…..that will be on Monday as usual.

Not to worry I will be keeping an eye on the news and if there is anything important I shall suspend my “dump of drafts” to make it known for my readers and visitors.

Please enjoy and I look forward to those brave souls that will visit and comment….and for that I am forever grateful.

    1. I have few hobbies and have so much pain there is so little sleep….so I am up reading and writing at about 2 mam until about noon…..retirement has been good to me…..hahaha chuq

      1. I hear you! My sleep habits are regulated by pain and pets. I took up blogging as a retirement hobby, but soon found I didn’t have a daily thought I cared to share till I became a cat person at age 61. From then on, my blog gradually became less about me and nearly all about them. Ha!

      2. I have been writing and teaching for 40 years so blogging is just an extension so I cut out the middle man…..I know what you mean MoMo decides for me when blogging is done for the day…LOL chuq

      3. Journalism was my college major, yet I never worked in it. I suppose blogging is my attempt to reconnect with earlier expectations for a life to be well spent. Nothing learned is wasted in the end!

      4. I just feel it is my calling to help people understand the world around them…..I never ask anyone to change their mind because of me….just to read with an open mind. chuq

      5. That’s part of why I enjoy reading your posts. I usually agree with you, but don’t feel pressured to agree every time. It’s a trick to do, and you do it well! I feel better informed for following you.

      6. Oh! Now I’m on track! I’m still working on Monday’s posts by those I follow. Yesterday was a dialysis day for me, so (per SOP) I managed to have a long nap instead of spending a lot of time on line.

      7. I see I was by but must have just read through it in a daze as I didn’t recognize the content. Anyway, it is the history of the area where I live.
