Now that he has successfully crapped all over the UCMJ he wants to use his actions to help him with his election with the military and those fake patriots that say they support them.

If Donald Trump gets his wish, he’ll soon take the three convicted or accused war criminals he spared from consequence on the road as special guests in his re-election campaign, according to two sources who have heard Trump discuss their potential roles for the 2020 effort.

Despite military and international backlash to Trump’s Nov. 15 clemency—fallout from which cost Navy Secretary Richard Spencer his job on Sunday—Trump believes he has rectified major injustices. Two people tell The Daily Beast they’ve heard Trump talk about how he’d like to have the now-cleared Clint Lorance, Matthew Golsteyn, or Edward Gallagher show up at his 2020 rallies, or even have a moment on stage at his renomination convention in Charlotte next year. Right-wing media have portrayed all three as martyrs brought down by “political correctness” within the military.

“He briefly discussed making it a big deal at the convention,” said one of these sources, who requested anonymity to talk about private conversations. “The president made a reference to the 2016 [convention] and where they brought on-stage heroes” like former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, who refused to execute detained civilians ahead of a devastating Taliban attack.

This nothing but a political stunt trying to win favor with the military…the same military that he plays games with….with their funds and with their lives.

Waiting for one of the GOP faithful that pretend every election that they have the military’s back for them and screw over them the first chance they get.  You want to call someone traitor then look NO further than the GOP.

As I have written before…..Trump needs to keep his grubby LITTLE hands off the UCMJ…..it has worked for over 200 years it does not need anything but to be left alone.

2020 Another One Bites The Dust #10

Tis the season for the wannabe Dem candidates start dropping like flies…..just Monday we lost 2 candidate Bullock and Sestak…..and yesterday one of the “major” candidates heads for the door….Kamala Harris.

On Tuesday, a much bigger name did the same. Kamala Harris has ended her bid for the presidency, in what the New York Times calls a “dramatic comedown” for a candidate who showed “significant promise” out of the gate. In a fairly lengthy statement posted to Medium, Harris framed it as “one of the hardest decisions of my life,” and one made “with deep regret—but also with deep gratitude.” It came down to money, she wrote. “I’m not a billionaire. I can’t fund my own campaign. And as the campaign has gone on, it’s become harder and harder to raise the money we need to compete. In good faith, I can’t tell you … that I have a path forward if I don’t believe I do.”

Indeed, the Times notes that in Q3 Harris’ campaign spent $1.41 for every dollar raised. She continued, “But I want to be clear with you: I am still very much in this fight. And I will keep fighting every day for what this campaign has been about. Justice for The People. All the people. … And I want to be clear: although I am no longer running for President, I will do everything in my power to defeat Donald Trump and fight for the future of our country and the best of who we are.”

The MSM spent 15+ minutes on why she is out….they ignored everyone else that left…..but a good corporate candidate needs explaining…..and it continues unabated…there are a dozen plus candidates that are still in the race and it would be good to see the media actually care about that instead of making excuses for a loser.  Her decision was to avoid being labelled a loser after the primaries and causes begin in earnest….her eyes are on the future and not the present.

That is 3 wannabes this week…not bad…we need to lose a few more to make it a better race.

I say good riddance…my candidate is still in there slugging (for now)…..my advice to the MSM…stop whining over Harris departure…..there is more at stake than some feel good bullshit from the media.

As the tradition of IST we will show Harris the exit door to the sounds of Queen…..

The candidate size is getting more manageable…..

I keep track of all this so my readers can just sit back and enjoy whatever Reality TV show they had rather watch…..

Let’s Go To The House Impeachment Report

The House Intel Committee has released their impeachment report…….

The House Intelligence Committee has released a 300-page report outlining evidence against President Trump.

There were several big thoughts in this report…..

  • “The impeachment inquiry into Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, uncovered a monthslong effort by President Trump to use the powers of his office to solicit foreign interference on his behalf in the 2020 election.”
  • “[T]he President placed his own personal and political interests above the national interests of the United States, sought to undermine the integrity of the US presidential election process, and endangered US national security.”
  • “To compel the Ukrainian President to do his political bidding, President Trump conditioned two official acts on the public announcement of the investigations: a coveted White House visit and critical US military assistance Ukraine needed to fight its Russian adversary.”
  • “President Trump engaged in an unprecedented campaign of obstruction of this impeachment inquiry.”
  • “The damage to our system of checks and balances, and to the balance of power within our three branches of government, will be long-lasting and potentially irrevocable if the president’s ability to stonewall Congress goes unchecked. Any future president will feel empowered to resist an investigation into their own wrongdoing, malfeasance, or corruption, and the result will be a nation at far greater risk of all three.”

A North Korean “Christmas Gift”

Trump’s bromance with Kim is not going the way that would lead us to believe that all is well with a guy that Trump stated that he loves…..the bromance is waning and waning badly….

Kim has even promised a “Christmas Gift” for the US….

North Korea says the US could be in for an unpleasant Christmas gift unless denuclearization talks move forward. The veiled threat came Tuesday as Pyongyang denounced little progress in discussions with Washington, reports CNBC. Calls for a “sustained and substantial dialogue” are “nothing but a foolish trick” serving the US, which is in “a tight corner” owing to its current “political situation” and upcoming election, KCNA quotes Ri Thae Song, vice foreign minister in charge of US affairs, as saying. North Korea “has heard more than enough dialogue” and “no one will lend an ear to the US any longer.” Pointing to a year-end deadline for proposals, Ri adds “it is entirely up to the US what Christmas gift it will select to get.”

The Washington Post sees “a veiled threat to resume long-range missile tests”—something the North has previously done on a US holiday. Kim Jung Un described the regime’s first test of an ICBM on Independence Day 2017 as a “gift package” for the US. This year, the North is believed to have fired two short-range projectiles from a “super-large” multiple rocket launcher on Thanksgiving. “He definitely likes sending up rockets … That’s why I call him Rocket Man,” Trump said, reviving his nickname for Kim, while meeting with NATO leaders in London on Tuesday, per the Hill. “I have confidence in him,” he added before noting denuclearization may or “may not” work out. “In the meantime, we still have peace,” Trump said. And “if I weren’t president, you’d be in a war right now in Asia.”

It was the month before Christmas and all over the planet…
