Declassified But Redacted

For months now the world has been waiting for the release of those damn 28 pages of the 9/11 report which some thought would implicate the Saudis in the attack……

Wait no longer…those damn pages are now in the public domain…..

The House Intelligence Committee on Friday released 28 previously classified pages from a 2002 congressional investigation into the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

Some suspected the document contains information linking Saudi Arabia to the attackers.

The Saudi Ambassador to the U.S. Abdullah Al-Saud said he welcomed the release of the redacted pages.

“Saudi Arabia has long called for the release of the classified ‘28 Pages,’ We hope the release of these pages will clear up, once and for all, any lingering questions or suspicions about Saudi Arabia’s actions, intentions, or long-term friendship with the United States,” he said in a statement.

“Saudi Arabia is working closely with the United States and other allies to eradicate terrorism and destroy terrorist organizations,” he added.

It’s The Blame Game

All the media circus around the latest terrorist attack has the media salivating….and it has provided the politicians a chance to do what they do best….bullsh*t.

And as usual…..as with everything international……this attack is Obama’s fault…..not much is said about the sick bastard driving the truck…..

Gingrich went on to blame the attack on President Obama, saying it was “the fault of Western elites who lack the guts to do what is right, to do what is necessary, and to tell us the truth, and that starts with Barack Obama,” the AP reports. He predicted that Obama will give a press conference “in which he’ll explain that the problem is too many trucks.” Gingrich, who had been in the running to become Trump’s VP choice, told Hannity that it now appears that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence has gotten the nod, “but I’ve not been officially told yet.” Trump, who spoke to Fox’s Bill O’Reilly, didn’t go as far as Gingrich, but he said as president, he would ask Congress to declare war on global terrorism, reports the New York Times. “If you look at it, this is war. Coming from all different parts,” he said. “And frankly it’s war, and we’re dealing with people without uniforms.” (Trump has delayed his VP announcement, which had been scheduled for Friday morning.)

First Trump postponed his announcement not out of respect but rather he would not be the center of attention with this attack…..he is waiting for a lean time where he can once again be the center of the universe….

Next, so far these attacks have been carried out by citizens of the country where they occur….not outsiders…..

Finally, there were at least 100+ uniformed officers at the scene for crowd control for the fireworks display….if 100 cops could not stop this attack then Obama sure as Hell could not…Blaming him does nothing to solve the problem of these attacks.

Again the media is allowing the political toads to control the cycle….all the blame except for the a/hole that was driving the truck….

This will be my last post on this horrific attack unless something new is reported and I feel it needs more attention…..

Is It Pence Per Chance?

The media has been in overdrive trying to select the VP for Trump….we have heard so much from so many…..well they can sleep well tonight….there is a winner!

Donald Trump’s Veepstakes is over, and Indiana Governor Mike Pence has won.

The Veepstakes is one of America’s odder political and journalist traditions. Everyone wants to know, as soon as possible, who will occupy a famously not-that-important job and reporters eagerly sniff out leads even though the name will be publicly announced soon enough. Donald Trump, by leading an unusually interesting campaign, managed to also lead an unusually interesting search process.

The MSM will now switch gears and start the process all over again…..we will hear so much from so many.

Hillary will have to take the backseat to the antics at the convention in Cleveland…I am sure that she will find some way to sneak into the news during the week….it is not like her to go silently away for a week.

Sharia Along The Way

NOTE:  This post will probably get me the wrath of the rabidly stupid….but someone has to stand up to the lunacy….so why not me.

In 2008 when the country elected Obama as president the idiots went batcrap crazy….first it was that he was a secret Muslim….and that morphed into the push for Sharia law as the predominate law of the land.

And that fear has lingered endlessly for about 8 years…..there have been wasted state votes preventing it from ever becoming the “law of the land”……like that would have ever been possible…..Let me speak slowly for the slower people out there….WILL NEVER HAPPEN!

Now with the horrific attack in Nice the subject of Sharia has once again jumped to the forefront of some political mumbling…..

Newt Gingrich managed to out-Trump Donald Trump in the wake of Thursday night’s horrific attack in Nice, calling for nothing less than the ideological testing of all Muslims in the US and the expulsion of those who don’t pass muster. “Let me be as blunt and direct as I can be. Western civilization is in a war. We should frankly test every person here who is of a Muslim background, and if they believe in Sharia, they should be deported,” Gingrich told Fox News’ Sean Hannity, per CNN. “Sharia is incompatible with Western civilization. Modern Muslims who have given up Sharia, glad to have them as citizens.” Gingrich added that Muslims should also have their mosques and online activities monitored.

The biggest problem is that those that are most in fear know absolutely nothing about it except for the mindless ranting of morons.

Sharia is the laws that all Muslims live by……not completely accurate…..there is NO country that lives by Sharia law solely….however Saudi Arabia and Iran are close but no cigar….but Afghanistan comes the closest.

The term means “way” or ” path”…… it is the legal framework within which the public and some private aspects of life are regulated for those living in a legal system based on Islam.

Sharia deals with all aspects of day-to-day life, including politics, economics, banking, business law, contract law, sexuality, and social issues.

There is not a strictly codified uniform set of laws that can be called Sharia. It is more like a system of several laws, based on the Qur’an, Hadith and centuries of debate, interpretation and precedent.  (thanx to Wikipedia for their help)

Let me reiterate…….Islamic shariah is not implemented in any country of the world, most Muslim countries have their own laws & chosen only few of laws from Islamic shariah.

The laws of Sharia are strict but no more so than the laws of the Old Testament (the Torah)…..but if you would like more background then I suggest a piece written for the Council On Foreign Relations……

I want to state gain……there is NO country that governs solely by Sharia Law…..as a matter of fact there is a bit of a movement to separate religion from state…..

You know those silly anti-sharia laws passed by evangelicals in US state legislatures? They may as well not bother.

(Sharia is Muslim law; but it is much more diverse and fluid than fundamentalists of both stripes think it is).

It turns out a lot of Muslims want a separation of religion and state, according to a new poll by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Arab Observatory. They polled people in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

Sharia is not the boogeyman that some would have you believe…..I will admit that some governments take its interpretation to barbarous ends….that does not mean that all live by or under the thumb of Sharia Law.

But then I am thinking that someone might like to know what they are hating……I could be mistaken.

But if these people had half a brain they would use the immigration of Hasidic Jews to make their point….most have NOT assimilated into the greater American society…..they live with their own laws and traditions….but that’s okay they are somehow immune to criticism…..

Nice: A Day Of Horror

Once again the bastards have struck…….they chose a day of celebration in France, Bastille Day, to commit a heinous act….this time in the sleepy city of Nice in the Southeast of the country…..

Authorities say at least 84 people are dead and dozens more injured after a truck plowed into a Bastille Day celebration Thursday in Nice, France. Reuters reports the crowd was leaving holiday festivities at the Promenade des Anglais seaside walk when the truck hit it. The truck drove for more than a mile through the crowd, according to CNN. A witness tells the Guardian the truck was going between 25mph and 30mph. “I was walking for nearly a mile, and there were dead bodies all over the place,” a journalist at the scene says. “We saw people hit and bits of debris flying around,” another reporter says. “It was absolute chaos.”

The Paris prosecutor’s office opened an investigation for “murder, attempted murder in an organized group linked to a terrorist enterprise,” reports AP. There are reports the driver of the truck, who was believed to be the only person inside, fired on the crowd. The driver was shot and killed by police, and authorities say they found weapons, including guns and grenades, inside the truck. Authorities are asking people to stay inside their homes. CBS News reports French anti-terror police are now investigating the attack. President Obama condemned what “appears to be a horrific terrorist attack,” adding, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and other loved ones of those killed.”

The MSM has begun its endless speculation……but what is known so far?

Witnesses have described scenes of chaos, terror, and panic as an attacker drove a heavy truck through a crowd gathered to watch Bastille Day fireworks in Nice, France on Thursday night, killing at least 80 people. Large numbers of families had gathered along the seafront Promenade des Anglais and witnesses say they saw parents throw their children to safety as the truck zigzagged for more than a mile, leaving a trail of dead and injured people behind it. “We saw essentially a stampede of people coming along the Promenade des Anglais,” US-Palestinian writer Ismail Khalidi tells the Guardian. “We are talking families, hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people. Then all of a sudden the stampede started coming from the other direction,” he says. “I have never seen that level of chaos and hysteria and terror.” The latest developments:

  • President Francois Hollande says he has no doubt that attack was terrorism and he is extending the state of emergency brought in after last November’s Paris attacks by three months, reports Reuters. “France is filled with sadness by this new tragedy,” said Hollande, who is calling up police and military reservists.
  • “France was struck on the day of its national fete, July 14, the symbol of liberty,” Hollande said in a televised address early Friday, calling the attack a “monstrosity” and “an absolute violence.” “The terrorist character (of the attack) cannot be denied,” he said. “All of France is under the threat of Islamic terrorists.”
  • A police sources tells AFP that the identity papers of a French-Tunisian man were found in the truck after the driver was shot dead by police. The sources say that the driver got out of the truck and exchanged fire with police before he was killed.
  • A spokesman for a pediatric hospital in Nice tells Reuters that children were among those killed in the attack and many children are now undergoing serious operations at the hospital.
  • Nice Matin journalist Damien Allemand says the screams began just as the fireworks ended and people got up to leave, the AP reports. “A fraction of a second later, an enormous white truck came along at a crazy speed, turning the wheel to mow down the maximum number of people,” he says. “I saw bodies flying like bowling pins along its route. Heard noises, cries that I will never forget.”

So far no one has claimed responsibility for this attack……yet more innocents died so that some group of blood thirsty bastards can make a point.  This type of violence is far from over…..keep in mind that while ISIS loses territory the “ghost” caliphate will step up the international attacks.

Now the whole array of BS will start…instead of focusing on the act the conversation will most likely devolve into a war of words.

Why Is Hillary Clinton Still a Hawk?

Our gal Hillary has learned NOTHING!  Her delusional foreign policy will get Americans killed….but I guess that is okay as long as we pretend it is for the greater good.

She had a opportunity to change her faulty thinking when she began her run for the nomination…….BTW I never thought she would be a true progressive to her it is a slogan to confuse…..

In the past she embraced the lousy policies of her hubby and then the crappy thinking of the DLC and her journey continued by buying into the neoliberalism of Obama……

She refuses to learn from every failed foreign intervention.

“I have been, I remain convinced that we need a concerted effort to really up the costs on Russia and in particular on Putin. I think we have not done enough,” she said following a speech on September 9 at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank.
