Soon we all will be asked to vote for one party or the other…..all the rhetoric aside…..just where do the major players stand on the issues…..and by issues I mean real issues not the rhetorical bullshit we have on the tube daily….sorry these are not all the candidates but these are the ones that may be the best choices in the very near future……
Check them out and see if they are in line with what you believe or support….

Every one of them will be “In line with what I believe and support” until one of them gets elected and after that the things they believe in and support will change dramatically as they show what they are really made of. Politicians always put on their best face for campaigns. The best way to see where they stand on issues is to get hold of a copy of the Congressional Report and see how they voted if they were in a position to do any voting. And, of course, no candidate who has not had some experience in the machinery of government should even be considered. This is not a business that newbies should be using as On The Job Training.
Well said….I am thinking about the 2 party system will write my thoughts probably after the election….the system is broken time to consider a repair…of sorts….chuq
The repair is definitely needed but there are no available craftsmen to do the repairs on a reasonable reliable or permanent basis.
I think education would help….I will propose something in my piece….but so far it is only an idea….chuq
Education hasn’t helped a darned bit since 1964 when we had our last Constitutionally-elected president. All education is going to do is to equip future dictators to do their job of controlling the masses a little better.
Education lost all relevance in the 1970’s and continues today….so uneducated clods are better than someone with a brain…..we are there already…..
