The president listed his agenda in his speech and as always the opposition has to have their couple of minutes in the limelight, god forbid that we have only one speech and let it go, but NO we have to have the opposition whine and this year you will have a Tea Party whiner…..Bachmann, the Queen of the silver dollar……oh sorry…I mean Tea Party….
This year the GOP picked their fair hair, buff out math whiz to dazzle us with his knowledge of questionable accounting…one Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)….and of course, I must say what I thought of his speech……
Radical BS……math that would confuse Einstein……NO specifics……and the same song they always sing….cut entitlements, spending and anything that will effect the middle class…….
This was all so much crap…political crap……will go NOWHERE!
I will be generous to Rep. Ryan……..my critique of his opposition response speech………YAWN!

I’m not sure I understand what you (as an American) call “entitlements”. If they are what I have assumed they are, I can’t see how cutting them particularly affects the middle classes – or most of them at least…
Medicare, SS and unemployment benefits….are the biggest entitlements….and for the last 30 years SS has had a surplus and the Congress has raided it unmercifully….and now they talk about making the middle class pay for their bad investment choices…..it sucks!
Oh well, the middle class ALWAYS picks up the tab for government’s failures – always did, always will…
Sad but true……and they continue to vote for those that would help them slide down the economic ladder……go figure!
That may be at least partly because there are almost NONE who would do otherwise – and the few that maybe would, CAN’T – whatever they claim!
