Mass-Debater

The big night has arrived!  Some say that this will either make or break the candidates……the media is predicting at least 50 million people will watch….both campaigns are downplaying the candidates performance…..but it will come down to optics….the viewers will be watching reactions and such and probably do not give two shits in Hell what the candidates say……as usual it will be a personality contest with little concern of the positions of the participants……

What new did you learn from the debate?

I learned that Mitt does know how to be aggressive and Obama sucks….surprise….surprise.  Obama let Mitt off the hook on too many points.  Not that any were wrong but rather there was not even a little challenge to Mitt’s set of facts…..Obama needing to talk directly to the public and he failed on that point.

If there are truly any undecided voters that watched the debate then at the end…..they were still undecided.  There was nothing in the debate that was informative…..nothing but a plethora of talking points.  And I am talking about both candidates here.

We Americans are ate up with winners and losers……so let me break it down simply……the loser was anybody that was hoping for any clarification of the candidates stances on issues.  The winner was Mitt…at least in optics….and that was what this debate was all about…optics not issues.  Mitt was aggressive….but the aggression was aimed at the moderator more than the president.  Mitt now has something that could be said to be some offense and that should carry the conversation until the next debate….this should help in the polls…..and that is what this election is all about….polls not issues.

Hopefully the foreign policy debate will be a better debate on issues and positions.  I am also looking forward to the VP debate…..at least for now I am looking forward to it.

In closing, there are two things that have caught my attention, not that I have not been paying attention, but rather just did not care…….Mitt has the fakest laugh in politics and second, he you noticed that Mitt has the same facial expressions as Mussolini, just not as exaggerated…..(okay all you Cheetos eating bobbleheads…No I am not calling Mitt a fascist only that the expressions are eerily similar)………

It’s late…..and I need a drink!

Are You Better Off?

A good question!  Each one of the campaigns is trying to make the case either for or against the question.  No matter, it is a good question that deserves a good answer…..

This list is a good one….and it answers the question for the country……

Michael Snyder
The Economic Collapse

If we elect one guy over the other our economy might decline at a slightly different pace.

But in the end both political parties are taking us to the exact same place.

Down the toilet.

I wish that wasn’t true.

But we need to be honest with ourselves….

-Both parties fully support the Federal Reserve.

-Both parties supported the nomination of Ben Bernanke to a second term as the head of the Federal Reserve.

-Both parties endlessly push the job-killing “free trade” agenda of the global elite.

-Both parties see nothing wrong with running absolutely enormous trade deficits with the rest of the world.

-Both parties supported TARP.

-Both parties supported the “economic stimulus” packages.

-Both parties supported the auto industry bailouts.

-Both parties have run up massive amounts of federal debt when in power.

-Both parties have greatly expanded the size of the federal government when in power.

-Both parties are full of control freaks and both parties have added more layers of ridiculous regulations to our already overburdened society when in power.

-Neither party supports getting rid of the income tax or the IRS.

-Neither party has any intention of doing anything to prevent the coming derivatives crisis that could bring down the entire global financial system.

-Both parties are absolutely showered with cash from the big Wall Street banks.

-Both parties think that the TSA is doing a great job.

-Both parties supported the NDAA and the renewal of the Patriot Act.

-Both parties have greatly expanded the unconstitutional surveillance of American citizens by government agencies.

-Both parties are extremely soft on illegal immigration.

-Both parties have treated military veterans horribly.

-Both parties are absolutely packed with corrupt politicians that are living the high life at your expense.

-Neither party plans to balance the federal budget in 2013 if their candidate wins the election.

-Neither party has a plan that will fix our deeply broken health care system.

-Neither party has any plans to shut down the Federal Reserve.  In fact, both parties see absolutely nothing wrong with our current system.

Food for thought.  Please use your vote wisely and in an informed way….do not just vote for the D or the R, the black guy over the white guy, the rich guy……..do not boil the election down to pathetic personality contest…..the country needs informed voters not judges on American Idol!

What If Obama Is Re-Elected?

Crazies to the left…..even crazier to the right.

We have all heard the wild scenarios of what could happen to this country if Obama is re-elected.  One of the best was from that burned out rocker, Ted Nugent, when he said the day after Obama’s re-election that he, Nugent, would be in behind bars…….I just love pathetic people that are that self-absorb……

But a real doozey was said by some moron in Texas…..a judge no less……

This from Secular News Daily

An elected county judge in Texas is warning that the nation could descend into civil war if President Barack Obama is re-elected, and is calling for a trained, well-equipped force to battle the United Nations troops he says Obama would bring in.

The comments by Lubbock County Judge Tom Head, who oversees emergency planning efforts, were broadcast by CNN affiliate KJTV. He made similar remarks on radio station FOX Talk 950.

Obama, Head said, will “try to give the sovereignty of the United States away to the United Nations. What do you think the public’s going to do when that happens? We are talking civil unrest, civil disobedience, possibly, possibly civil war … I’m not talking just talking riots here and there. I’m talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms, get rid of the dictator. OK, what do you think he is going to do when that happens? He is going to call in the U.N. troops, personnel carriers, tanks and whatever.”

Head vowed to personally stand “in front of their personnel carriers and say, ‘You’re not coming in here.’ And I’ve asked the sheriff. I said, ‘Are you going to back me on this?’ And he said, ‘Yeah, I’m going to back you.’

Sometimes I think these Texas dipsticks are just trying to be outrageous, as if NO one would listen if they weren’t…..thoughts?

Can You Find The Difference?

Are you for Mitt?  How about Obama?

I have been saying for years that there is NO difference in the two parties….that they are different sides to the same coin……I know that the different pundits of the two parties will point out their differences…..that is if they can find a way to do it in a 30 second sound bite or in some mindless slogan……but there is NO difference!  And this election is No different from the one before or the one before that…….

Michael Snyder has offered up a comparison….and thanx to him my life is a bit easier…….

1. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported TARP.

2. Mitt Romney supported Barack Obama’s “economic stimulus” packages.

3. Mitt Romney says that Barack Obama’s bailout of the auto industry was actually his idea.

4. Neither candidate supports immediately balancing the federal budget.

5. They both believe in big government and they both have a track record of being big spenders while in office.

6. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both fully support the Federal Reserve.

7. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are both on record as saying that the president should not question the “independence” of the Federal Reserve.

8. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both said that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke did a good job during the last financial crisis.

9. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both felt that Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke deserved to be renominated to a second term.

10. Both candidates oppose a full audit of the Federal Reserve.

11. Both candidates are on record as saying that U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner has done a good job.

12. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have both been big promoters of universal health care.

13. Mitt Romney was the one who developed the plan that Obamacare was later based upon.

14. Wall Street absolutely showers both candidates with campaign contributions.

15. Neither candidate wants to eliminate the income tax or the IRS.

16. Both candidates want to keep personal income tax rates at the exact same levels for the vast majority of Americans.

17. Both candidates are “open” to the idea of imposing a Value Added Tax on the American people.

18. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the TSA is doing a great job.

19. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the NDAA.

20. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both supported the renewal of the Patriot Act.

21. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the federal government should be able to indefinitely detain American citizens that are considered to be terrorists.

22. Both candidates believe that American citizens suspected of being terrorists can be killed by the president without a trial.

23. Barack Obama has not closed Guantanamo Bay like he promised to do, and Mitt Romney actually wants to double the number of prisoners held there.

24. Both candidates support the practice of “extraordinary rendition”.

25. They both support the job-killing “free trade” agenda of the global elite.

26. They both accuse each other of shipping jobs out of the country and both of them are right.

27. Both candidates are extremely soft on illegal immigration.

28. Neither candidate has any military experience.  This is the first time that this has happened in a U.S. election since 1944.

29. Both candidates earned a degree from Harvard University.

30. They both believe in the theory of man-made global warming.

31. Mitt Romney has said that he will support a “cap and trade” carbon tax scheme (like the one Barack Obama wants) as long as the entire globe goes along with it.

32. Both candidates have a very long record of supporting strict gun control measures.

33. Both candidates have been pro-abortion most of their careers.  Mitt Romney’s “conversion” to the pro-life cause has been questioned by many.  In fact, Mitt Romney has made millions on Bain Capital’s investment in a company called “Stericycle” that incinerates aborted babies collected from family planning clinics.

34. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney both believe that the Boy Scout ban on openly gay troop leaders is wrong.

35. They both believe that a “two state solution” will bring lasting peace between the Palestinians and Israel.

36. Both candidates have a history of nominating extremely liberal judges.

37. Like Barack Obama, Mitt Romney also plans to add “signing statements” to bills when he signs them into law.

38. They both have a horrible record when it comes to job creation.

39. Both candidates believe that the president has the power to take the country to war without getting the approval of the U.S. Congress.

40. Both candidates plan to continue running up more government debt even though the U.S. government is already 16 trillion dollars in debt.

There you have it……..I am sure someone will disagree…….but just do some research and I mean real research, not some sites that reinforces your opinion…….if you believe that the voting system needs integrity then do the work and vote from knowledge not from emotions…..

Obama Lies!

On a previous post I pointed out some of the lies that have been attributed to Mitt….and I asked for anyone that had links to a similar set of things about Obama…..a reader, Terrant, sent me the below link…..I have a problem with a few of them….like his birth certificate for one…or he ate dog or the status of his mother and father……this stuff is just CRAP!  When it comes to his policies, then if he lies he lies….just like Mitt…..and like the post before a lot of this is just misinformation….it does nothing to help people learn what is true and what is lies……only thing I can promise you is that political scum ALL LIE….No matter which color you choose (before I am called a racist, the colors I am referring to are blue and red…sorry to pee on someone’s parade)……..

While I agree that Obama has lied about many things…Mitt is No better….they are politicians and that is what they do….LIE to get your vote…..I know I am pissing up a rope, but the American people need to research everything in the political process…..if not then you are letting someone do your thinking for you….I realize that is the easy way out and we Americans are always looking for the easy way….maybe this one thing should be important enough to look for the truth…….

Any way, check out the lies of Obama on the link below……and make your own decision……

In Case You Were Napping

Since we have a few days before the next media circus that is the New Hampshire primary…….

While you were celebrating the end of 2011 and the beginning of 2012…..our prez, Obama, signed into law NDAA……the so-called “detention” law that would give the government free reign to detain protesters as somehow “terrorists”…..with that done all eyes are turning to SOPA, the anti-piracy act…..which could be the end of bloggers like myself and Red State’s Erickson and many many others…..since Obama had NO problem signing NDAA….what are the chances that he will sign the SOPA?

But why would Obama sign such a bill and such an attack on the free speech part of the Constitution?  A good question and here could be the answers that we look for…..

From the website, TwitLonger……….

This list shows who supports #SOPA and who is publicly against it… #StopSOPA #ReTweet
