On a previous post I pointed out some of the lies that have been attributed to Mitt….and I asked for anyone that had links to a similar set of things about Obama…..a reader, Terrant, sent me the below link…..I have a problem with a few of them….like his birth certificate for one…or he ate dog or the status of his mother and father……this stuff is just CRAP! When it comes to his policies, then if he lies he lies….just like Mitt…..and like the post before a lot of this is just misinformation….it does nothing to help people learn what is true and what is lies……only thing I can promise you is that political scum ALL LIE….No matter which color you choose (before I am called a racist, the colors I am referring to are blue and red…sorry to pee on someone’s parade)……..
While I agree that Obama has lied about many things…Mitt is No better….they are politicians and that is what they do….LIE to get your vote…..I know I am pissing up a rope, but the American people need to research everything in the political process…..if not then you are letting someone do your thinking for you….I realize that is the easy way out and we Americans are always looking for the easy way….maybe this one thing should be important enough to look for the truth…….

Clearly, trying to determine who tells more lies, distortions and omissions is a waste of time because there will always be those who are willing to give their own definition to what does and doesn’t constitute a lie, distortion or omission.
The better measure to determine electability is what policies do they or have they supported and how many people have benefitted as a result.
Clearly there are times when wealthy and corporate interests are satisfied and millions of others will also benefit. But what we are seeing today, that we haven’t seen since the Gilded Age period is how many policies, regulations and laws benefit only one socio-economic group while many others serve only to discriminate against people who simply don’t have the economic, social and religious “pedigree” that some think all Americans should have.
Women under Republicans suffer no more than women under Democrats in a lot of areas, in fact perhaps under most. But clearly many of the laws being pushed through state legislatures recently by GOP majorities concerning choices about unwanted pregnancies serve only a rigid religious view that reflect ancient beliefs that narrowly served only a small patriarchal cultural sect thousands of years ago. Such laws may satisfy the moral sense of some people but in fact does nothing to stop unwanted pregnancies or provide for the mother and child when pregnancies are mandated to be carried full term, many who are only teenagers.
Larry, like I said and you reiterated….ALL politicians lie and misinform…but the problem for me is that the American voter does not seem to want the truth…they want to be told something…never what they need to hear and that is the biggest problem…..slogans and bumper stickers decide who will be prez….
