My Hero!

By now my regulars know that I am a ‘hippie’, ‘pinko’, and so on….I am a product of my generation and a protester since age 20 and so when I read a report like this one all I can do is say BRAVO!

It seem an activist disabled the phone of an ICE agent…..

In early 2025, Atlanta resident Samuel Tunick was on his way home following a trip abroad. After landing in the US, customs agents demanded access to his Pixel phone, which was running an alternative version of Android called GrapheneOS. Rather than hand over his data, Tunick used a clever feature of the software to delete everything. Now, he’s facing federal charges.

The first hearing in this case happened last week, according to The Guardian, during which government attorneys and agents claimed that Tunick was subjected to a standard secondary interrogation at an international airport. During that encounter, agents were “looking for anything that’s prohibited.” However, Tunick’s legal team alleges he was targeted for his activism.

Tunick was involved with a group called Defend the Atlanta Forest, which opposed the construction of an enormous law enforcement training facility in the area often known as Cop City. What Tunick didn’t know, according to his lawyers, was that he’d been placed on a watch list for his actions and that Customs and Border Protection had discussed over email plans to detain him upon his arrival back in the US for “suspected terrorism activities.”

During the interrogation, CBP agents told Tunick they wanted to search his phone for evidence of child sexual abuse, and if he didn’t unlock the device, it would be confiscated. The government has long asserted broad authority to examine and seize electronic devices at the border for virtually any reason. Tunick claims he was never read his rights and requested legal counsel several times, but the requests were denied.

Disarm, Defund, Destroy

That is the headline in the extreme Right Wing rag, the Washington Examiner….it is referring to what these slugs say is the plan of the DSA for the foreign policy of this nation.

This is WE’s breakdown of the DSA platform….

The platform’s four foreign policy principles are worth examining in turn. The first is “end the U.S. war machine.” The steps are spelled out: defund the Pentagon, close overseas bases, and prosecute American “war criminals” through the International Criminal Court. In other words, unilateral disarmament. This is the opposite of what the U.S. should be doing while China, Russia, Iran, and other adversaries increasingly threaten our security. Yet in the DSA’s eyes, American militarism is the problem.

But to help my reader out…here is what the DSA platform has to say…

Defund the Department of War. End all foreign wars and close overseas military bases. Support and fully employ veterans. End immunity for U.S. war criminals and support the International Criminal Court’s mandate to prosecute war crimes.

People around the world deserve to live their lives without U.S. interference. End economic warfare against countries whose governments act independently of the United States, such as Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran.

Now my take….the Pentagon does not need $1.5 trillion so yes I say defund this before it gets further out of hand….I also think that if a crime against humanity was committed by a leader then they should be held accountable….I do not know what the idiots at the WE mean by destroy so I will let that go as a lie….

The majority of Americans want all these petite wars to end….most Americans want this country to figure in the policy making first then the rest of the world….and that sounds like what the DSA is pushing…..at least to me.

Iran–Here We Go Yet Again

oh Goody Donny is at it again!

Well as usual this ‘conflict’, if we can call it that, is on again….after a lull because, according to Donny and his idiots, the talks were going well….and then as if by design (probably was) the US once again is attacking Iran.

What is word about this round of stupidity?

US Central Command announced on Wednesday night that it began launching airstrikes against Iran, hours after President Trump threatened a response to an Iranian missile attack on a US base in Jordan.

CENTCOM described the attacks as a “powerful response” to the attack in Jordan, though the extent of the US strikes remains unclear at this point. Trump has reportedly been mulling a significant escalation compared to the airstrikes the US was launching against Iran earlier this month.

On Wednesday morning, Trump told Fox News reporter Trey Yingst that the US was going to “beat the f-cking sh-t” out of Iran in response to the Jordan attack.

“We’re going to beat the f-cking sh-t out of them,” the president said, according to Yingst. “We’ll be hitting them hard. They’re going to get a beating.”

Trump described the strikes as a “surprise attack” and said that US troops had just “minutes” to intercept the missiles. During heavy US airstrikes on Iran earlier this month, Iran was pounding US bases in Jordan in response, and at least three US troops were killed, and more than 100 were wounded in the attacks.

The attack came after several days of a lull in US airstrikes against Iran, though the US military has still been enforcing a blockade against Iranian ports, and the Iranian military warned on Monday that it would consider the continued blockade an “expansion of war in the region” and vowed a response.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the strikes on the US base in Jordan were a response to “aggressive actions by the child-killing American army.”

“Until threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran continue and the illegal and mischievous actions of American forces against our interests are ongoing, resistance will continue as well,” the IRGC said. “Threats by American officials and illegal interventions against our interests must stop.”

The Iranian attack came after Trump met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House to discuss the Iran war, and the two leaders described the talks as very positive. “It was a meeting with full cooperation, with mutual support, with understanding on the joint goal that Iran won’t have nuclear weapons, and also other goals,” Netanyahu said. “It was one of the best conversations I’ve had with our friend, US President Trump.”
