Selective Memories

NOTE:  This is not necessarily about the current mash-up in Gaza just a few observations that I have made in my many years.

I would like to reiterate that I am NOT anti-Jew, personally I do not give a shit about their religious beliefs.

This post is more about the selective memories of the American people than it is about the current situation.

WARNING:  This post may include some offensive language that may offend the sensibilities of some readers….so if you are easily offended then maybe this post is not for you.

The date is 04 November 1979….US ally Iran has had months of protests against the policies and tactics of the Shah and on this date Iranian students stormed the walls of the US embassy in Tehran breaching them and taking 52 Americans hostage which were held for 444 days until their release on 20 January 1981.

Since that fateful day Americans have despised anything remotely Iranian.  (There so much more to that action than just a bunch of pissed off students)

To this day they, Iran, can do nothing right in the eyes of most Americans….for they are evil.

The date is 08 June 1967….during the 6 Day war when Israel was fighting against the combined forces of the Arab nations.

The US signit ship, USS Liberty, was patrolling in the Eastern Mediterranean….when suddenly the ship was attacked by Israeli jets and gunboats….the attack left 34 American sailors dead and 174 wounded.

Yet Americans ignore this murderous attack and support Israel in everything they do….why?

I to this day do not understand why Americans would rather ignore a barbaric murderous attack like the one Israel pulled on an American flagged unarmed ship.

A case of friendly fire?  NO!  This was no accident the cowards knew what they were attacking and who.  There is NO excuse for this action or the cover-up to protect an ally….NO excuse!

When we celebrate Veterans Day with the usual fanfare…all the thanks for your service and all….to me it is all just hollow gestures….for the ignoring the veterans of the USS Liberty diminishes all our vets and the American people are doing just that.

Of course the public can make excuses like ‘we did not know’ but that is a cop-out….they do not want to know….it is more important to show support for Israel than to honor fallen veterans who were doing their duty and serving their country in a time of need and were brutally murdered.

What is it that drives so many Americans to blindly, yes I said blindly, support Israel in all they do?

I know the answer….do you?

Please do not try to excuse this away for there is NO excuse for the men they killed and injured…..none whatsoever.

Again I apologize for the vulgarity of my tone….but this is something I feel strongly about….which if you read any of the reference material can understand my tone.

History Revisionism

We know that Donny and his merry band of idiots have their own version of American history…..and now Donny wants to make sure that history fits his vision of events from our past.

He has ordered the Smithsonian to fall in lie with his perverted vision…..

The Trump administration informed the Smithsonian Institution on Tuesday that it will check its current and planned exhibitions’ displayed wording, websites, and social media “to assess tone, historical framing and alignment with American ideals.” A letter from the White House said the museums will have 120 days to make any changes the administration wants, the New York Times reports. The changes could include “replacing divisive or ideologically driven language with unifying, historically accurate and constructive descriptions,” the letter to Smithsonian Secretary Lonnie Bunch says.

The letter provides the first details of the administration’s plan to scrutinize the Smithsonian, per the Washington Post, to ensure adherence to Trump’s goals of removing what he called its “improper ideology” in favor of “truth and sanity.” The Smithsonian released a statement later Tuesday pledging cooperation with the administration and saying its work “is grounded in a deep commitment to scholarly excellence, rigorous research, and the accurate, factual presentation of history.”

A historian called the Trump administration plan an affront to the professionals trained to ensure historically accurate presentations, per the Wall Street Journal. “If those things are taken out of the hands of historians, the public stands to lose a great deal in having reliable and engaging content that tells a whole and complex story of the American past,” said Sarah Weicksel, executive director of the American Historical Association.

This is, as I have said making history fit into the warped ideals of Donny and the mental midgets behind him….

The Wall Street Journal reports on Tuesday that U.S. President Donald Trump’s White House is keeping an eye on the Smithsonian Museum to ensure that its exhibits on display for the United States’ 250th anniversary “align with” the president’s personal “interpretation of American history.”

According to the Journal, the administration this week sent a letter to the Smithsonian announcing it was seeking what the paper describes as a “far-reaching review” of its “museum exhibitions, materials and operations” that will include everything from “public-facing exhibition text and online content to internal curatorial processes, exhibition planning, the use of collections and artist grants.”

The goal of the review is to ensure the materials comply with an executive order Trump signed earlier this year that called for “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History.”

Truth and sanity?  Nothing in the Donny led government is about truth and sanity.

This will do more damage than good….denying history or trying to transform into some unrecognizable POS is NOT the way to instill ‘truth and sanity’ into the subject.

A Domestic Disturbance Force?

The moron SecDef has announced, I am sure with Little Donny’s help, that the defense department will intervene in domestic problems…..

The Department of Defense is planning to create a rapid response force of National Guard troops to quickly deploy to American cities where protests or unrest are occurring.

On Tuesday, The Washington Post reported that it obtained documents showing the Pentagon is creating a “Domestic Civil Disturbance Quick Reaction Force.”

“The plan calls for 600 troops to be on standby at all times so they can deploy in as little as one hour,” the outlet explained. “They would be split into two groups of 300 and stationed at military bases in Alabama and Arizona, with purview of regions east and west of the Mississippi River, respectively.”

One hundred troops at each base would be on standby to deploy within an hour, while the entire quick force would begin operations within 12 hours. The National Guard will be equipped with weapons and riot gear, and the deployments will be limited to 90 days to prevent burnout among the troops.

On Monday, Trump announced a major crackdown on crime in Washington, DC, by federalizing the Metropolitan DC police and deploying 800 National Guard troops to the capital city. “This is Liberation Day in DC, and we’re going to take our capital back,” Trump said during a press conference at the White House. “I’m officially invoking the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. And placing the DC Metropolitan Police under direct federal control.”

“In addition, I’m deploying the National Guard to help restore law, order and public safety,” he added.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said residents of DC will soon see the National Guard in the capital. “You will see them flowing into the streets of Washington in the coming week,” he explained. “At your direction as well, sir, there are other units we are prepared to bring in — other National Guard units, other specialized units. They will be strong, they will be tough and they will stand with their law enforcement partners.”

The new quick reaction force may be deployed to other American cities if Trump perceives that there is too much crime. Trump threatened to take similar steps in other major cities, noting he hopes some of them “self-clean up.” “If we need to, we’re going to do the same thing in Chicago, which is a disaster,” the president said.

So the fate of American cities is left up to a lying sack of crap that makes up stats to justify is idiotic policies.

This smells like an attempt to silence any opposition by using some lie to justifying using troops to break up any and all protests.

Donald Trump has opened a new, explosive salvo in his battle with elected Democrats across the country.

By revoking part of Washington DC’s right to govern itself and announcing the deployment of National Guard troops to deal with a largely non-existent crime wave in the city, the US President made it clear that he planned to take similar actions in other Democratic Party strongholds in the months ahead.

Trump’s description of life in the nation’s capital bears no resemblance whatsoever to the experience of the vast majority of its citizens. He described a city riddled with “crime, bloodshed, bedlam, squalor and worse”, and in cadences redolent of his “American Carnage” inaugural address of January 2017, spoke of a city of “complete and total lawlessness”.

Trump himself so rarely ventures outside the protective bubble of the White House that he may not even understand how ludicrous his claims sound to the ears of DC residents. Official statistics – as opposed to the unsourced numbers that the US President shared with reporters on Monday – show that violent crime is now at a 30-year low in the city.

MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk celebrated President Donald Trump’s “Liberation Day” takeover of the nation’s capital by calling for the Trump administration to unleash a “full military occupation” of other large American cities “once we liberate” Washington, D.C.

In what appeared to be spurred by the recent late-night attack on former DOGE employee Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, who was allegedly assaulted during an attempted carjacking, Trump announced on Monday that he was deploying 800 National Guard troops and temporarily taking control of Washington’s police department to fight crime in the city.

“Our capital city has been overtaken by violent gangs and bloodthirsty criminals, roving mobs of wild youth, drugged out maniacs and homeless people, and we’re not going to let it happen anymore,” Trump exclaimed on Monday. Despite violent crime falling for two straight years in Washington under the current chief of police, the president likened the city to the “worst places on Earth” while repeatedly framing it as a dystopian hellscape.

Having already deployed thousands of National Guard troops to Los Angeles earlier this summer to quell protests that erupted over his immigration raids, Trump also suggested that other large cities in Democratic-led states – such as New York City and Chicago – could be next.
