Another week and another round of silliness coming from the not so brilliant mind of Little Donny…This past week has seen some amazing things….but nothing so amazing has come out of DC unless of course you consider Donny’s lame ass policies as amazing.
Let’s see…..Donny has federalized DC, rounded up homeless, a meeting with Vlad, and other bat crap crazy progrms….but what about behind the scenes?
President Trump is raking up global support in his push for a Nobel Peace Prize — garnering nominations from Pakistan, Cambodia, Israel and GOP lawmakers as he touts his role in talks to end various global conflicts.
…
But Trump has succeeded in other long-standing conflicts. The leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, who have been at war over territory shared by their two countries for decades, floated a joint nomination for Trump when they visited the White House recently for a U.S.-brokered peace summit.
The White House is publicly arguing it is “well past time” Trump gets the prize. A source close to Trump World said the White House is “very serious” about getting Trump the prize, adding that “on the merits, it’s pretty straightforward.”

Self-promotion…it is what he does best.
After getting some troublesome stats Donny fired the messenger and his replacement is a real joy….
President Donald Trump’s pick to oversee the Bureau of Labor Statistics was hanging around the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, footage shows, prompting a panicked scramble from the White House to paint him as a mere bystander.
The president announced that he was nominating Heritage Foundation economist and Project 2025 architect E.J. Antoni to replace the previous stats chief, whom Trump abruptly fired after receiving several months of weak jobs data.
The choice to appoint a MAGA hardliner to a position that requires nonpartisan professional analysis sparked immediate fears that BLS data will no longer be reliable if the Senate confirms Antoni.
Adding to those partisan concerns, it turns out Antoni—who also happens to have a giant picture of Adolf Hitler’s favorite battleship hanging in his office—was at the Capitol on the day a mob of Trump supporters violently tried to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.
Apparently Donny’s choice to run PBS thinks ‘slavery was no big deal”….””Being taken as a slave is better than being killed no? Before you judge you must ask yourself, what did the culture and society at the time treat as no big deal?”
The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) is funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) which has started winding down its operations after its funding was scrapped by the Trump administration and Congress.
Meanwhile, PragerU is a nonprofit organization that specializes in creating right-leaning educational short videos for adults and children, and many are viewing it as the replacement for PBS.
More efforts to rewrite history.
BTW higher prices are good for the country….according to some weird fuck from South Carolina.
Republican South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman has claimed that while prices are going up, it’s “for the good of the country.”
His comments were made during a Fox News appearance as host Jon Scott noted that many Americans are not supportive of President Donald Trump’s economic policies. A Fox poll recently showed that 44 percent of Americans back the president on the economy. Similarly, six out of 10 Americans blame Trump for driving up the cost of living, according to a recent poll.
“I think a lot of people are seeing higher prices,” said Norman on Saturday. “Our family’s in the construction business, and we get a lot of our timber from Canada and other countries. Yes, it’s higher. Steel prices are up, but it’s for the good of the country.”
I hate to contradict this jerk but my wallet will disagree with him.
Then there is the directive from SecState…..on human rights….
The Intercept has learned.
Officially called “Country Reports on Human Rights Practices,” the annual documents are required by law to be “a full and complete report regarding the status of internationally recognized human rights” in nearly 200 countries and territories worldwide. They are used “by the U.S. Legislative, Executive, and Judicial Branches as a resource for shaping policy and guiding decisions, informing diplomatic engagements, and determining the allocation of foreign aid and security sector assistance,” according to the State Department.
The reports will no longer call out governments for abuses like restrictions on free and fair elections, significant corruption, or serious harassment of domestic or international human rights organizations, according to instructions issued earlier this year to the State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor — known as DRL — which, itself, has been eviscerated under an “America First” reorganization by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Trump Orders State Department to Overlook International Human Rights Abuses
Sounds like more cover for his butt buddy BiBi…..that is not what the US stands for….at least not in my book.
Finally The Donny way of government has once again sided with corporations….his DOJ is dropping investigations into misdeeds by corporations….
During the first six months of his second term, President Donald Trump’s administration has withdrawn or suspended enforcement actions against 165 companies in sectors across the U.S. economy, with Big Tech benefiting most from federal agencies’ lax approach to corporate crime.
A report released Wednesday by the consumer advocacy group Public Citizen found that the Trump administration has halted or ended a third of misconduct investigations and enforcement actions targeting technology firms—including behemoths such as Meta, Tesla, and Google.
Both Meta and Google donated to Trump’s inaugural fund, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk spent big in support of the president’s 2024 White House bid. Public Citizen found that the tech corporations that have benefited from Trump administration decisions to drop enforcement efforts have spent a combined $1.2 billion trying to influence the president.
“The Trump administration is protecting lawbreaking corporate insiders from accountability instead of protecting Americans from corporate lawbreaking,” said Rick Claypool, a research director for Public Citizen and author of the new report. “To Big Tech corporations, this sends the message there is little risk in breaking the law in pursuit of profit—especially if you are an ally of the administration.”
“For insiders,” Claypool added, “corporate crime pays.”
