Closing Thought–29Nov16

The Adviser……….

All of his bluster during the campaigns lead many to think that Trump as president would lessen our footprint in the Middle East….but watching the people that is naming for the foreign policy slots that will be open leads me to believe something different…..

He has named people like Flynn, a big mouth that is a war monger from the get go….and now his announcement of his Terrorism adviser is another big mouth warmonger….

In naming KT McFarland his deputy national security adviser Friday, Donald Trump is adding another person with “hard-line views on the fight against terrorism” to his team, the New York Times reports. According to Bloomberg, McFarland served as deputy assistant secretary of defense for public affair under Ronald Reagan. She also worked for the Nixon and Ford administrations, spent time as a national security analyst and adviser to Henry Kissinger, and is a frequent guest on Fox News. She also unsuccessfully ran for Hillary Clinton’s senate seat in 2006. In her new position, McFarland will work with Trump’s new national security adviser, former Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

McFarland has been a frequent critic of President Obama’s approach to terrorism and says the threat of global Islamism needs to be addressed. “She has tremendous experience and innate talent that will complement the fantastic team we are assembling, which is crucial because nothing is more important than keeping our people safe,” CNN quotes Trump as saying in a statement. In a statement of her own, McFarland says: “Nobody has called foreign policy right more than President-elect Trump, and he gets no credit for it.” Flynn added in a tweet that McFarland “will help us #MAGA.” Her appointment doesn’t require senate confirmation.

Many have overlooked this person’s lies in the past….when she was running for office…..she lied about being a speech writer, a Pentagon big wig and other stuff…..once a liar…always a liar.

These appointments do not bode well for the US foreign policy……more conflicts are at hand….

Abu Omar Khorasani, an Isis leader in Afghanistan, is quoted as saying that “our leaders were closely following the US election, but it was unexpected that the Americans would dig their own graves.” He added that what he termed Trump’s “hatred” towards Muslims would enable Isis to recruit thousands of fighters.

The Isis calculation is that, as happened after 9/11, the demonisation and collective punishment of Muslims will propel a proportion of the Islamic community into its ranks. Given that there are 1.6 billion Muslims – about 23 per cent of the world’s population – Isis and al-Qaeda-type organisations need to win the loyalty of only a small proportion of the Islamic community to remain a powerful force.

As an international analyst….I do not see much change in foreign policy direction at this time….but I will admit it is early and things could change…I will watch and rant.

  1. I disagree with your conclusion, though I do see your point. I believe Trump wants to fight and WIN the war on terrorism once and for all. This war has been raging since 2001 and it is only getting worse. Obama has not committed to wiping out terrorism. He is pretending to be at war while all the while doing things to help the terrorists regroup. This is because of his insatiable appetite to unseat Assad. This is all because of the agenda of the “shadow government” that is who REALLY rules behind the scenes. They are the globalists and big banks who want to rule globally. They need Assad out so they can install their WORLD Bank. They did it in Iraq and in Lybia. Their new goal is Syria, but the Syrian people are UNITED, ALL RELIGIONS, ALL CITIZENS, against the US coalition of Invaders. More information can be obtained through You Tube from the latest US Peace Council who investigated Syria on its own. We need tough warriors to squash the caliphate and end the invasion of inverted muslims I to our country. We cannot have any muslims who cannot Assimilate into our way of life and our laws. Our laws are fair for all races and tongues. We are more than fair, but we won’t be undermined nor will we let anyone make our Constitution bend for its Constitution. They have religious rights, yes, but not government rights. They cannot run their political religion in this nation because it seeks to destroy us. It’s all common sense. If a Muslim wants Western world benefits they must accept Western world laws. Reljgious laws that do not trample on our constitutional laws are acceptable. The same is true of the Mormon faith. Their religion called for polygamous marriage. It is against our laws, therefore they cannot practice that religious code in this country. They have complied. It’s that simple. If they cannot do that they should stay in their own country. On the other hand, the minorities in the middle East, Christians and others, need to get asylum from us. They should be fully vetted with letters from Christian pastors, or whatever minority religion they are, and legal ID, evidence of court actions against them based on religion, etc. There is also a sect of Islam that denounces jihad, and they are being killed by traditional Shiite and Sunni Muslims. I know of 11,000 Pakistani Christians who have escaped for their lives to Thailand, the nearest safe place for them. Thailand, however, did not sign on with the UNHCR and refuse refugees for any reason. These Pakistanis must come up with money (up to $400 USD every 3 months to renew their visa. They get appointments to see UNHCR (located in Bangkok) but the waiting list is 3 to 5 years long. The lack of communication between UNHCR & Pakistanis is only overcome through translators, most of whom are made up of Muslims. They usually sabotage the meeting and the Christians are not placed in an asylum country. Many die there. Many are arrested and in jail cells where there are standing room only. Thousands opt to go back to their deaths in Pakistan (as that is the goal of the Thailand government in the first place). They don’t have medical care, schooling or work. It’s a humanitarian crisis beyond belief. This is what Trump needs to address. We need to keep out the ones who are so easily getting let in because of high ministry compensation to our government officials (Clinton Foundation) and start making sure those who NEED asylum are brought in. I’d love to see you do a write up on the situation in Bangkok for these minority Pakistani citizens. USA continues to send Pakistan financial aid even though it knows of the genocide there. God help our world!

    1. Islam does not want to destroy this nation. There are too many half truths and we do not need those from an adviser to the prez unless of course he does not want a real look just yes men. I have written about the con of ISIS defeat…

      1. Islam is the bad guy only in the mind of those that know nothing of the religion…most everything the Americans know about religion is not mentioned in the Quran…jihad, hijab, suicide, 72 virgins…etc

      2. Those are hadiths…they are not part of the Quran they are interpretations by imans….not the words of the prophet….there are some Muslims that do NOT accept any hadiths they live by the Quran alone.

      3. And those muslims are also being persecuted and killed by the ones that do believe in the hadiths. There are thousands of them in Bangkok as we speak, running for their lives. About one tenth of the muslims in our nation are radicalized, and the number is growing. That is a huge number who want to annihilate us and destroy our society. Even one of them is too many.

      4. With this situation is not about the religion but the politics…these people of which you speak are like any other religious person they trust what their preacher tells them…and they all have an agenda…and most times it has little to do with the religion..

        Are you in Thailand now?

      5. Agreed…and there are those working hard in these countries to counter this hate….the problem is they seldom get recognition in the West

We cannot have any muslims who cannot assimilate into our way of life and obey our laws. Our laws are fair for all races and tongues. The lack of communication between UNHCR & Pakistanis is only overcome through translators, most of whom are made up of Muslims. They usually sabotage the meeting and the Christians are not placed in an asylum country. They are never accepted for placement on the first visit to UNHCR. Many die there. Many are arrested and in jail cells where there is standing room only. They live in rice and cucumber soup. Children are also kept in these dirty cells. Pregnant women get no extra food or medical care. Thousands opt to go back to their deaths in Pakistan (as that is the goal of the Thailand government in the first place). They don’t have medical care, schooling or work. It’s a humanitarian crisis beyond belief. This is what Trump needs to address. We need to keep out the ones who are so easily getting let in because of high monetary compensation to our government officials (Clinton Foundation). Trump must begin the process of accepting those asylum seekers who are truly in need of asylum for the sake of their lives. They are people who will gladly assimilate into our Western culture because that is why they are being persecuted in the first place. Muslins hate Christians and Jews and any religion but their own. I’d love to see you do a write up on the situation in Bangkok for these minority Pakistani citizens. USA continues to send Pakistan financial aid even though it knows of the genocide there. 3. Frankly I have no confidence in Mr. Trump to make good decisions regarding anything, he cannot even make a good decision regarding Twitter. His selections for his cabinet are outrageous, Bannon, Sessions, Flynn…I am hoping that despite the ranting of his campaign advisor, he will appoint Romney (the lesser of evils) as Sec. of State rather than place his indebtedness first and select his loyal puppet Giuliani, who like most of his nominees/appointees are sorely lacking experience. Regarding the war, who can say what Mr. Trump will do, I am sure that he hasn’t a clue but will leave it up to the Hawks.

  4. Never was into optimism…..
    But I made it!
    Ah,
A silent, counter-coup on the double-double down. They’re going to have to crank the collider on this one.
    YEAH!😉

    1. Here is my closing thought..
By law, treason is punishable by death, or they can just tie a millstone around their necks, find the nearest bridge and take a leap of faith.🙂

  5. All I can say about this one is, the die is cast. Whatever happens, and whomever is appointed to various tasks, they are all part of the problem, and will never be able to even address the actual reasons for the conflict raging in today’s world. Until we figure out how to change human nature, we’ll continue to pursue our dark dreams of delusion…

I’m currently fighting a wave of pain, with bonus issues, so, have missed commenting on a lot of your posts…. Recently, I find myself reiterating this same message. People cannot expect to see changes when the only people they elect are only interested in maintaining the status quo, thus cementing their own power and influence. Billionaires don’t get to be such by being honest, or giving a shit about anyone else….

    That’s the simple truth….

I’m outta here again; will try to get by later, if I can…. to catch up to today’s posts, Wednesday…

    gigoid, the dubious
