I know that some of my readers believe that I sit around all day reading every Leftist site I can get my hands on…..as usual they would be mistaken….you see I like to get a total overview of any situation or issue…..I even read the American Conservative…..
Regardless of how the election turns out in November the one underlying fact is…..Trump wins…..or should I call it…Trunpism?
The candidate has changed the very complexion of the GOP (you may take that any way you prefer)…….
Everything that has happened in the past 20 years has widened the opportunity for the nationalist persuasion in American politics. Pat Buchanan cracked open the door in the GOP; Perot widened it further, as did, in idiosyncratic ways, Ron Paul. But Trump, with a unique blend of showmanship, independent means, and sheer nerve, has blown this door wide open. It remains open because globalist policies have failed a growing number of Americans. Trump’s weaknesses as a candidate, well known to everyone, may keep him from winning. But his run will change the nature of the GOP, and it is very hard to see how the old GOP elites and neoconservative establishment will put the lid on the aspirations Trump has unleashed, in this election cycle or those to come.

If people agree with the direction of a change, it will be called good. People are pretty dumb, remember. I mean, look at the MSM…. it’s pitched at the level of a third grader, and often leaves the audience scratching their heads anyway….
Yes, it’s all going to change, but, somehow, I don’t think good, or bad, is quite going to cover what is going to happen… it might be well to find some new adjectives that will convey a more accurate picture of the overall results… I vote for clusterfuck…. that’s pretty close to the flavors I taste in the current world situation…

clusterfuck is a term of sexuality so if things are going to become one big clusterfuck then it has to have pleasure at its base and that can only be a good thing.
Actually, clusterfuck is old army slang, from when I was a kid, growing up on base, & has nothing to do with sex, mostly referring to the behavior of officers…and the usual results of orders they give…
Besides, in today’s world, the entire gamut of sexual behavior is pretty well unnatural, anyway, since very few people actually understand their own sexuality…. Hard to be insightful about it when it’s considered ‘dirty’ from the get….

I am a hippie, from UC Berkeley in 1968, & believe me, that was NOT a commonly used word. unless speaking of the police, or ‘pigs’ as they were usually termed….
Clusterfuck was more along the lines of FUBAR, also military, for fucked up beyond all repair… Though free love was in the air, you’re still talking about Americans, and an orgy was about as wild as it got….

My main concerns now are lungs and kidneys but I won’t have a thorough diagnosis completed until after all the tests and those are expected to take months and months.

I would like to know whose bright idea of design the old woman had in mind, because I don’t see the sense. What ever happened to voting for a candidate because of the issues? Ever since JFK, it’s been because he cute, charismatic, he/she is the right color, religion or gender… That doesn’t solve the country’s problems, so they just keep growing.
We’ve had the Clinton couple in office and they accomplished nothing for us, why do people want them back?

The kind of sexual freedom advocated in the areas where I lived in the era of the Hippies included every kind of perversion imaginable and it alll came under the heading, “If it feels good do it” and yes that made many of us unto certified deviants!

Well that depends on what a hippie is according to the people that have no idea what they were all about…it is like any other subject that people want to demonize…..
I LONG for the days when the Hippies were “deviants”. Today, they’re as vanilla as Mitt Romney by comparison. Nowadays, you can’t swing a cat without hitting a bedazzled freak covered in tattoos and and tranfixed on a Stupid Phone “hook-up app” telling them to have furry-sex with the total stranger 3 metres to their West.
At least most Hippies had at least 3 brains cells together and a clue what was going on in the world. I can’t say either for 99% of young people these days.
