There is so much total crap in the news these days…..the rhetoric has gone from unbelievable to absurd…..and sadly the media is the largest distributor of fabrications…..

  1. The “Media” that we have considered the source of our “News” for so many years and with so much tradition behind it is a prehistoric relic now, having been replaced by Social Media — and we are fully justified in viewing the concept of traditional news with the same emotions we might consider abandoning clothing and taking up loincloths again.

    1. Social media is popular…..it is the only place you can find news other than the corporate taglines…..of course most use it for their little pathetic lives and can be anonymous so they can say whatever they like…..I use it for news and research….

    1. Fine if you would like to descend into this…..what part of that I said is disturbing? That I feel that anonymous comments are cowards? Then fine….then if people are so afraid of what they say why should they say it?

      1. Basically because they have the freedom to do so I would imagine. Nothing you said was disturbing. I just feel that under the First Amendment anybody should be able to say anything they want to say whether they say it anonomously or not.

      2. I agree but why anonymously? Kinda like people that have a private blog….why have a blog at all? But I understand in these days of internet if they know too much about you they can use it against you….I feel the first was to prevent people from persecution of political points of view not spreading lies and misinformation….but then I was not there so I could be mistaken…

      3. Anonimity is a choice that people make when they want to give information to other people and don’t really care whether the people receiving the information agree with them or not. The important thing to the anonymous blogger is getting the message out. Anonymous blogger have a harder time building traffic but then again they are not in it for the purpose of building traffic — they are in it to get the messase out.

      4. I believe anonymous bloggers are just as capable of telling the truth as anybody and maybe more so because they can tell it like it is without fearing too many repercussions … Kind of reminds me of my own way of doing things … but I am not anonymous… Everybody knows that I am an artificial intelligence and not a real person …010011100001111100110010100 — LOL

      5. I guess I am old fashion…..I was taught that if I thought I was right to not be afraid to speak up…..but then I am an old fart and that means nothing to anyone but me….LOL

      6. What you were taught was spot on correct but we have to remember that the anonymous blogger is not afraid to speak up either and when he speaks he feels free to speak with even more freedom sometimes than those who identify themselves. … like I said … a matter of choice and both ways of doing it are protected by The Constitution.
