Secret Agent Man

During the spy craze of the 70’s Johnny Rivers had a song  “Secret Agent Man” (yes…I am that old) it reminded me that some of our cracker jack Congress may be working as agents for a foreign government….no not Russia or China but rather our good buddy….Israel.

I wrote a piece about this situation after the holidays…..(a refresher if needed………I offered the reference so that you could see that I was writing about this before most…..).

I had my suspicion that the newest mouth of the South, Arkansas’ Tom Cotton….but I may have overlooked another one…..our candidate du jour….Marco Rubio……his use of terms like democracy, human rights and all that political prop stuff made me think the he was more interested in protecting Israel than protecting this country…….but read the story for yourself and you make up your own mind……..

The more I read and research the more that I am believing the stories……and I stand by my assertion that if these stories are true then these people need to be prosecuted as spies and/or foreign agents…..but we will wimp out because Israel is our friend and ally…..which in my mind is pure BS…Israel sucks off the tit of American taxpayer……the US is NOT their friend…just their enabler.

These traitors need to be held accountable for their crimes and make no mistake it is a crime…..sadly they will not….

  1. I believe you are correct when you say that a lot of our Congress People are working for a foreign government but I do not think it is necessarily Israel. I would rather think it is the foreign government they have created out of their collective closed-minded senility and have misappropriated the name, “United States” to label it with.

    1. Israel spends lots of cash to get their way……I want them persecuted….anyone that works against the best interests of the country……

  2. Okay, this is purely an excuse for me to post a video (because after decades on the Internet, I still don’t know how to post links to videos) of one of my all-time favourite shows, the super-groovy 1960’s British cult TV show, The Prisoner. For those unaware of it, it was an unofficial quasi-spinoff of the British show Danger Man known in America as Secret Agent. The song Secret Agent Man was written to be the original theme for that show…written in 1966, not in the 70’s. So, you’re even older than you thought!

(Okay, the clip’s relevancy is covered, so…)

This theme song is pretty damn groovy in its own right. But it’s also a very rare case of an opening theme telling you all you need to know about a show…and probably as much as most viewers will ever understand about the show.

    1. Yep I am that old….I remember the Prisoner it was shown of PBS…I always like Patrick especially in “Ice Station Zero”…..shifty Brit spy…..

      1. I never saw Ice Station Zebra. But it sounds interesting. Going by the credits, it’s a TOTAL sausage party lead by the ultra-butch Rock Hudson 😉 Not one female in the whole cast!

I really only remember seeing Patrick in Danger Man, The Prisoner, an episode of The Simpsons (as #6) and with Clint Eastwood in Escape From Alcatraz, ironically as the warden of an inescapable prison… I only vaguely recall seeing 1976’s Silver Streak with Richard Pryor & Gene Wilder…Although, I bet most people who saw it only vaguely remember it…likely because they were probably VERY high at the time.

Oh, and I saw him in 2 very low budget Canuckistan cult-classics (I’m sensing a recurring theme here) the fantastic David Cronenberg career launcher Scanners and the much lesser known 1997 Hysteria with Amanda Plummer. Curiously, in both movies he plays a perfectly normal looking doctor who is secretly preforming crazy experiments on people’s minds.

Great multi-faceted talent (actor, writer, director) who died just before his scheduled cameo in the (decent but plagued with production problems) 2009 mini-series remake of The Prisoner.

      1. Never knew what the car was. It made me think of an MG. But I leaned toward a Shelby style custom job, or a kit car, because I’ve seen cars like it, but not quite the same. After I got my first car, I tried to get the personalized plates “KAR 120C”…but some fucker beat me to it. Probably one of #2’s men.

        I looked it up…It’s a Lotus AND a kit-car!

And yes, if you follow the link to Caterham Cars, you can actually still get one built for you!
