Domestic Terrorism Or Hate Crime?

Predictably we have yet another gun related incident……..this time in Tennessee and the FBI is investigating the deaths of 4 Marines as an act of domestic terrorism.

My question is why is the attack in Tennessee domestic terrorism and the attack in South Carolina is being investigated as a hate crime?

The horrific shooting in Tennessee caused the deaths of 4 Marines and 1 sailor is in the hospital (now dead) and the shooter is dead.  The media is in the middle of regurgitated every scrap of information they can find on the shooter…..but his motive is unknown….why?  The shooter is dead……unlike the shooter in South Carolina.

The shooting in South Carolina has been covered from the race angle……which quickly deteriorated into a conversation on the Confederate flag and its place in history……….as I have stated South Carolina shootings and deaths are a hate crime according to the FBI……I have no problem with that but why is it not also an act of domestic violence?  I am sure that there is no law that says the investigation cannot go in two directions……

Meanwhile back to Tennessee, Chattanooga to be exact, the shooter attacked two location and killed 4 people…..now the FBI has decided that it was an act of domestic terrorism.  Unfortunately the killer is dead and we cannot ask him of his motivations….all we have is speculation.

My problem is the domestic terrorism thing…..why is Tennessee domestic terrorism and South Carolina not?  Both attacks were with a gun and people died.

Does it have something to do with race…..race of the attacker?  A boy did the killing in South Carolina and a Kuwaiti did the killing in Tennessee.  Is it that a white boy is incapable of committing an act of terrorism?  So he is a psychopath but not a terrorist, right?

Maybe it is in the name…..if Dylann Roof had been named Daood al-Rauf then he would be a terrorist.

I ask again…..what makes one an act of domestic terrorism and the other a hate crime?

Will The 2016 GOP Parade Ever End?

Today number 16 or 17 candidate will enter into the comedic parade known as the GOP dash to the nomination.  Today Ohio governor, John Kasich has jumped in and this may be the last “serious” candidate for the nomination…….I am sure there are others that want to pad their resume to gain a bigger share of the cash on the rubber chicken circuit of politics.

Good news for Republican voters who aren’t wild about Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, George Pataki, Rick Santorum, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Bobby Jindal, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Donald Trump, Chris Christie, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, or Marco Rubio: John Kasich is running for president. The second-term governor of Ohio and former congressman is returning to the Ohio State University campus in Columbus where he became an aspiring politician to announce his 2016 bid for president.

Kasich is known for his unfiltered style and policies that are not always in line with his party. Moreover, he’s been one of the few Republican contenders to resist going after the chief Democratic prospect, Hillary Clinton, or President Obama. He says if he has to trash people to win, count him out. Kasich is the 16th notable Republican to get into the race. He’s hoping his 18 years in Congress, near-decade as a Lehman Brothers managing director, and two terms as a swing-state governor will help him stand out.

Is it all in?  The next landmark in this election cycle will be the first debate on FOX…..the problem there is the way it is set up there will be only about 2 serious candidates in that debate….if anything it will be sideshow to the circus…….full of softball questions and answer that generate applause…..nothing of a serious nature will be mentioned……

I do not see Kasich generating much enthusiasm among the rank and file……he will definitely not be a fave of the Teat Party ……so what does he hope to accomplish?  A bigger paycheck on the speech circuit of conservatism……is the best he will do.

ISIS: Dudes, Dial It Down!

There is much happening in the Middle East but the American public does not want to hear about it……but I did read a piece that may interest them a bit if they can tear themselves from reality TV…….

We have all heard the news about the violent videos that ISIS has released…..the stonings, beheadings and burnings and some truly sickos probably have watched the videos.

The news has put forth expert to tell why these terrorists and barbarians have recorded all this and presented it to the public…….most say Shock value…..trying to instill fear into the people that view the vids……

But over the weekend I was surprised to read the news of a different approach……

While violent recruitment videos have long been ISIS’s stock in trade, the group’s leadership is said to be concerned that jihadists trying to one-up each other are taking things too far, and have issued an edict admonishing fighters to tone things done to “respect the sensitivities” of viewers.

The edict came to the ISIS media offices by way of Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and featured some specific limits, including telling them to stop showing full beheadings, and simply limit the video to showing the slitting of the throat and the severed head after.

ISIS sources are said to have been particularly concerned that the videos are too scary for children to watch, and risks alienating them from a future generation of recruits. At the same time, some ISIS members are opposing the ban, saying the videos are meant to intimidate enemies.

Okay this was a flash out of the blue…….what is up within ISIS…..are they softening their stance?

I am waiting to see what the “experts” make of this announcement…….that is if they cover it at all……(so far nothing)………

What do you think is the motivation?

Rand On Native Americans

That would be Ayn not Paul…..just in case there was going to be a misunderstanding………

Since my mother was of the Jicarilla Apache nation….you might be able to see why I hate this broad!

US/Israeli/Saudi ‘Behavior’ Problems | Consortiumnews

The recent agreement between the P5+1 and Iran have brought up a lot of questions……..questions that most people refuse to ask and most definitely do not want any answers……..

many on the Right talk about how Iran has been misbehaving badly in the Middle East…..but in reality it is a bigger problem than Iran…….

This is an excellent piece written by Robert Parry……
