“Free The Nipple”

Before I am accused of being a dirty old man, that this movement is more about equality than just flashing one’s breasts…I would be a liar if I said that it is not enjoyable for me…there is so much more to this than you would think……

There have been many women’s movements….like
“Ban The Bra”…..the push for acceptance of public breast feeding…..of course the Puritan wing of the GOP have always been afraid of women’s breast in one form or the other….

Before I go on and make it look like I am that dirty old man your mother warned you about……

“Free the nipple” has made headlines yet again, this time over Instagram’s public apology to director Pedro Almodovar for censoring the poster for his latest movie Madres Paralelas. The image, designed by artist Javier Jaen, features a lactating nipple cropped to appear as a crying eye, and it was widely removed on the platform for violating Instagram’s guidelines. The apology issued by Instagram resulted in Almodovar proclaiming victory over the algorithm, and an abundance of media attention including the New York Times’s article.

The body-equality slogan “Free the nipple” is so ubiquitous that it sounds as though it belongs in the annals of history alongside “Make love not war” and “Votes for women,” but actually this international rallying cry is barely a decade old. Born into the Instagram-age and made infamous through it, “Free the nipple” has regularly popped up on social media accounts, despite the fact that #FreeTheNipple itself is invisible on the platform: Type in “#FreeTheNipple” in the Instagram search bar and it will direct to a stark notice: “This Hashtag Is Hidden.” Alternatively, add a year to the slogan such as #freethenipple2021 and it works, effectively rendering the movement a yearly trend rather than the full-voiced campaign for change that it is.

Free the Nipple: A History of a Hidden Movement

Personally I do not understand the fixation of women’s breast…..I would be lying as a man if I said it did not matter….but let’s be real….I am a man and I am not dead yet….the concern should be for the 300+ mass shootings this year so far and less about what breasts are doing.

This is the story I read that got me to thinking about the movement…..and of course the trolls on social media that attack the young woman….

Who would have thought that a sheer hot pink dress worn by an award-winning actress on the red carpet of a fashion show could have the power to send the internet into such a tizzy?

But it was never really about the dress, was it? It was about what’s under the dress and, more specifically, what exists just under the surface of society. The sheer fabric of a Valentino dress not only revealed Florence Pugh’s breasts, but shone a spotlight on the thinly veiled misogyny that remains rampant 2022.

This past Friday, Midsommar star Florence Pugh walked the red carpet at Valentino’s haute couture show in Rome wearing a fuschia tulle gown designed by the brand’s artistic director, Pierpaolo Piccioli. A nod to the emerging Barbie-core trend, the ensemble was all pink and featured a gauzy halter bodice that exposed the actress’ breasts and oh-so controversial nipples.

“Technically they’re covered?” Pugh wrote on Instagram, a platform known for its censorship of the female form. Posting these beautiful images to her following of 7.6million, it wasn’t long until the trolls crawled out of the woodwork.

https://www.rte.ie/lifestyle/living/2022/0714/1310146-a-sheer-double-standard-why-are-womans-nipples-still-taboo/

It is the 21st century in real time but still Victorian in some eyes…..I do not understand the taboo-ness of nudity these….I mean one click on the PC and anyone can see all they want and much more graphic than some woman’s nipples.

I am old but I would to think that I have matured with time….I try to keep my thinking moving forward….I refuse to let it go in reverse.

I have always admired Iceland for their governmental leadership…..like they jailed the bank execs that helped cause the worldwide economic crash of 2008…..that should have been the policy in this country as well but instead we gave them a free ride to do it again.

Sorry I digress.

Iceland has erected a monument to those that have helped the nation through civil disobedience…..

A huge piece of rock sits in front of the Alþingishús parliament building, barely heeded by tourists, with a black cone of a noticeable size calmly stuck atop it, cracking it in half. It bears a plaque that contains a quote from the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, originally drafted by the Marquis de Lafayette during the French Revolution: “When the government violates the rights of the people, insurrection is for the people and for each portion of the people the most sacred of rights and the most indispensable of duties.”

Created by Spanish artist Santiego Sierra as a monument to civil disobedience, the design of this sculpture was inspired by a medieval tradition during the Inquisition, in which the condemned were forced to wear black cone-shaped hats as a sign of humiliation. Commemorating the so-called Kitchenware Revolution or the Pots and Pans Revolution, the monument caused a bit of controversy among city council members at the time of its installation.

The protests took place between 2009 and 2011 in the wake of the Icelandic financial crisis and the government’s poor handling of the situation, calling for the resignation of the right-wing Independence Party officials and for a new election. Considered the largest-scale protests in Icelandic history at the time, thousands of people gathered before the parliament and demanded changes to the old system.

https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-black-cone-monument-to-civil-disobedience

This is a great idea for this country…. we have monuments for individuals but there was more to our civil disobedience than one person….we should celebrate the masses that were the protests.

This country was founded by those that participated in the disobedience……and we have a long history of civil protests………

Top 5 Acts of Civil Disobedience in American History

As an old protester from the 60s and 70s I am always interested in the attempts by government to try and silence the people’s right to protest….and 2021 has been an active year to try and silence people from taking the politicians and attempts to task…..

This June, a dangerously low-flying helicopter operated by the Department of Homeland Security descended on the largest civil disobedience action yet against the Line 3 pipeline in Minnesota. In an attempt to disperse the crowd, hundreds of demonstrators were pummeled with debris — and misdemeanor trespassing charges. If Minnesota Republican House Members Shane Mekeland and Eric Lucero had their way, demonstrators and anyone involved in the organizing process would have been hit with serious felony charges, a $5,000 fine, and liability for any damages incurred by the multibillion-dollar company Enbridge.

Mekeland and Lucero, who introduced these measures in a bill in late February, aren’t alone in their repressive ambitions. Rather than address the onslaught of police violence against Black people or catastrophic environmental degradation, Republican state politicians continue to attack the people rising up against those systemic injustices. As many as 225 anti-protest bills have been introduced in 45 states since 2016 according to the International Center for Non-Profit Law U.S. Protest Law Tracker. More than 100 have been introduced since Black liberation demonstrators took to the streets in June 2020. Thirty-four such bills have been enacted since 2016.

Lawmakers in Tennessee, Montana and Oklahoma passed the latest anti-protest laws. Bills in Iowa, Texas, Missouri, North Carolina and Ohio progressed within the last two months.

Over 100 Anti-Protest Bills Have Been Introduced Since George Floyd Rebellion

Looks like Repubs are running scared (as typical for cowards) for the protests are doing their job and making people open up their thinking about the injustices and inequalities in the US…after packing state legislatures with like minded cowards they can now set about making protest illegal…..

Is that what America has become….more a political abortion from the original thinking of the Founders?

The Pentagon Papers turn 50.

This publication may have been lost on most Americans…..so let me fill in some blanks.

The Pentagon Papers was the name given to a top-secret Department of Defense study of U.S. political and military involvement in Vietnam from 1945 to 1967. As the Vietnam War dragged on, with more than 500,000 U.S. troops in Vietnam by 1968, military analyst Daniel Ellsberg—who had worked on the study—came to oppose the war, and decided that the information contained in the Pentagon Papers should be available to the American public. He photocopied the report and in March 1971 gave the copy to The New York Times, which then published a series of scathing articles based on the report’s most damning secrets.

https://www.history.com/topics/vietnam-war/pentagon-papers

Today is the 50th anniversary of the publication of this secret study…..

June 13 will be the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of the secret Pentagon Papers, a vast collection of internal U.S. decision-making documents on the Vietnam War.

The Papers provoked questions about how the war could have been waged through six presidencies in a row: Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, and Gerald Ford. How could such dissimilar presidents have gone wrong — over and over again? Why couldn’t they stop? Did they get bad intelligence? Did they pick unworthy advisers? Did other bureaucratic dynamics guarantee bad decisions every time? Were they afraid of losing re-election?

This speculation avoided a more straightforward conclusion: Six presidents in a row did not change the long-term goals and strategy, and could not have if they wanted to, because presidents don’t decide those things.

This is what is missing from the Papers. It is the empire in the room nobody wants to talk about.

The Pentagon Papers at 50: What’s Left Out is Crucial

This is the article about how the publishing of the book changed the life of Ellsberg and his family…..

One of the first books in my now extensive library….as a participant in the conflict in Vietnam I had to read the book….it was an eye opener for me.

If my reader is interested in history then I recommend this book for a look at a war that many Americans want to forget.

From The ‘Can’t Fix Stupid’ Files

Once again there is stupid and then there is really stupid.

Law enforcement has been identifying and arresting perps of the insurrection on 06 January…..and they have even asked the public for their help….and then idiots do the job for the FBI……

And this moron is one of those stupid in-bred morons…..

Garret Miller didn’t speak to the law enforcement officers who arrested him on charges he stormed the US Capitol in January, but the T-shirt he was wearing at his Dallas home that day sent a clear and possibly incriminating message. Miller’s shirt had a photograph of former President Donald Trump, and it said “Take America Back” and “I Was There, Washington DC, January 6, 2021,” federal prosecutors noted in a court filing Monday. Prosecutors are urging a judge to keep Miller jailed while he awaits trial on charges stemming from the Jan. 6 riot in the nation’s capital, the AP reports. He was arrested on Jan. 20 and indicted by a DC grand jury on Feb. 12 on 12 counts, including civil disorder, obstruction of an official proceeding, and assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers.

Miller’s attorney is seeking his client’s release from custody, saying he has expressed regret for his actions. Like many of the more than 300 people facing federal charges in connection with the siege, Miller thoroughly documented and commented on his actions that day in a flurry of social media posts. After Miller posted a selfie showing himself inside the Capitol building, another Facebook user wrote, “bro you got in?! Nice!” Miller replied, “just wanted to incriminate myself a little lol,” prosecutors said. Miller joined the mob that breached the Capitol building and later threatened to kill Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and a Capitol police officer, authorities said. Miller remains jailed in Oklahoma City. His transport to Washington is on hold because he broke his collarbone while playing soccer in the recreation yard at a Dallas jail.

Another fine example of “can’t fix stupid”.

How Could This Happen?

The events of 06 January has been coming since about 1980….it all came to a head with the election of Trump.

But the question remains….Just how could this happen in America?

Wait!

Us no good commies from yesteryear told the nation what was happening within the GOP…and NO one wanting to hear it…..we were chided and belittled….and yet here we are.

That is all the past, right?

But to answer the question….Americans are struggling to make their families a secure and stable unit and instead of looking for leaders that will improve their families and security they instead look for someone to blame for their insecurity….they scapegoat.

The next question asked will be….how long must Americans endure this idiocracy?

Democrats may have a narrow majority in both the House and the Senate for the next two years, but it’s nothing near the margin they hoped for. And the likelihood that Democrats keep both the House and the Senate in 2022 are low, as the president’s party almost always loses seats in the midterm elections.

That means more divided government is probably imminent, and the electoral pattern we’ve become all too familiar with — a pendulum swinging back and forth between unified control of government and divided government — is doomed to repeat, with increasingly dangerous consequences for our democracy.

History holds, at best, a half lesson here. This current period of partisan stalemate stands out in a few respects when we consider America’s long history with partisan conflict. For starters, the period we find ourselves in now is unique in that the national partisan balance of power is extremely close (with control of national government up for grabs in almost every cycle), even as most states and most voters are either solidly Democratic or Republican. What’s more, the national outcome often hinges on just a few swing states and districts. This period is also unique in the extent to which America is divided. Hatred toward the other party drives our politics. This produces a deeply polarizing and highly destructive form of partisan trench warfare that threatens to erode the very legitimacy of American democracy.

How Much Longer Can This Era Of Political Gridlock Last?

Good answer…..

Social media helps play to the ignorance….and yes they call it something else but call a duck a duck….it is ignorance plain and simple….

Kinda makes me think a political philosophy term….Rational Ignorance Effect…..something I have written about in the past…..

Rational Ignorance Effect

Rational Ignorance Effect–Revisited

And the end is NOWHERE in sight.

Polarization will get m ore extreme and the threat of more violence is real and here…..

https://www.salon.com/2021/03/21/after-the-insurrection-americas-far-right-groups-get-more-extreme_partner/

This is not the time to let our guard down…..the extremists are there and reorganizing for the future….

Do not take your eyes off the GOP….members within the party are enabling the fire of hatred (we told you so).

Thoughts On Protests

America has been the site of many protests in our few years as a nation…..and in all that time the handling of these protests have been handled badly and the worse times for this bad behavior has been in the last 100 years or so.

Recent years have brought old animosities tom the forefront…..that of racial inequality.

What got me to thinking about this was a new law that has passed in the state of Oklahoma….

Racial justice advocates on Wednesday condemned the Oklahoma House of Representatives’ approval of a Republican bill shielding motorists who run over protesters, a measure they say ignores the real issues of systemic racism and police violence while further endangering Black lives.

H.B. 1674 (pdf)—passed by a party-line vote of 79-18—would grant civil and criminal immunity to drivers who “unintentionally” kill or injure people while “fleeing from a riot” if they have “reasonable belief” that doing so will protect them from harm.

Additionally, the proposed legislation would punish protesters who block traffic with up to a year behind bars and a $5,000 fine.

Democratic lawmakers blasted the bill as draconian and criticized their GOP colleagues for bringing the measure to a vote after midnight when few people were paying attention. Democrats also said the bill was misguided and ignored the bigger problems of racism, police violence, and inequality that sparked Black Lives Matter and other protests.

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2021/03/11/activists-say-oklahoma-bill-declares-open-season-protesters

As someone who has been deeply involved in protests in the past I look at the events and think that not much has changed in all those years……but why is change so hard or why do protests fail?

Today, there’s no shortage of important issues that arouse passions. But significant change requires more than protests and marches. The truth is that nobody cares if you want to sleep in a park or shout slogans on the streets. To make a real impact, you need to influence institutions.

https://www.realclearworld.com/2021/02/24/why_protests_fail_661538.html

My thought on why they fail is that those in power do not listen or do not care…..no matter the issue.  They look for political expediency and not the subject of the protests.

Any thoughts?

Final Thoughts On The ‘Insurrection’

I apologize this draft has been hiding in my queue…..but it still has some validity.

Final that is unless there is some important breaking news….then I will write.

I let my thoughts be known after the attack on the Capitol with several posts….for those that would like to check those thoughts out……

https://lobotero.com/2020/09/23/the-coming-insurrection/

https://lobotero.com/2021/01/19/insurrection-update/

https://lobotero.com/2021/01/26/insurrection-news/

After all the grief I took during my protest days in the 70s…..all the name calling such insults as ‘pinko’….I nor anyone with my group ever considered storming the Capitol and inflicting damage or harm to the staff and government offices.

I want the readers to ALWAYS remember the insurrection…..

Among the unique characteristics of American politics is our capacity to forget the unpleasant and inconvenient.

After a sitting president burgled his opponent’s headquarters and then tried to sack his entire Justice Department, his successor pardoned him in the service of “unity” and his party went on to thrive in the aftermath. Just over a decade later, there was an enormous scandal involving the secret sale of weapons to America’s top-profile international enemy to fund murderous paramilitaries on our own continent. The criminals involved were pardoned, the president involved feigned ignorance and then got the national capital’s airport named after him. Shortly thereafter, another Republican president lied the country into a costly and devastating war from which there remains no exit, then oversaw the worst natural disaster response in American history before catapulting the nation into the greatest economic calamity since the Great Depression. Within a decade, both parties seem to have forgotten that he even existed except to be seen as a respectable elder statesman at funerals and public functions.

Then came Donald Trump. Trump, his catastrophic failures and extraordinary malfeasance have not yet been forgotten because he still dominates the Republican Party. But his most horrific transgression is already receding into the background of the nation’s collective memory. So let’s all remind ourselves of what happened just this month.

Remember: There Was An Attempted Coup Against the U.S. Less Than a Month Ago

Was this a one off situation?  Or is there plans for my antics in the works?

The trial is in session….will this be the end of this situation?

I feel there is more to come….especially once Trump steps out of the shadows after the trial.

Please do not let apathy set in….this was more important to this republic than some (especially the GOP) want us to believe.

I want the people that committed this breach to suffer the way they made us protesters from the 70s suffer.

“It Is My Right!”

I am sick of morons claiming they are losing their First Amendment rights!

That is what I am hearing from many of the Hard Right d/bags when asked about their breaching of the Capitol and committing crimes in the name of the First Amendment.

Actually they are full of crap!

What they did was seditious….that is not a right.

First Amendment….Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

There is your key….” peaceably to assemble”…..the events of 06 January were NOT peaceable!

Like the torrent of video clips showing that last week’s terrorist attack on the capitol was more coordinated and more violent than its conspirators would want you to believe, the same conspirators are now pleading two narratives to cover their rear. One is that they were only exercising their First Amendment right to protest. The other is that the Black Lives Matter protests and riots didn’t draw the same scrutiny.

The right to protest is not in dispute. If that’s all the mob had done, its rights would certainly be defensible and protected, and everyone from the ACLU on down, including me, would defend that right. We’d be taking bets about how dull the Biden inaugural would be by now, not impeaching a president and witnessing one of the FBI’s most extensive manhunts in history.

Let’s assume the protest had remained peaceful. Even then, a protest isn’t an end in itself. It’s about a message. It should be judged accordingly. The KKK or any other neo-fascist organization has the right to march downtown. But it remains a despicable organization with a reprehensible purpose. It does not have a claim to any moral ground just because it’s exercising its First Amendment right. The mob gathered in Washington last week with an equally despicable and indefensible purpose: to overturn a democratic election decided by 81 million voters, certified by 50 states, reaffirmed by 60 court decisions and the attorney general. So it wasn’t a protest, since there was nothing to protest. It was the fabrication of a coup that became an armed insurrection. Insurrections are not protected by the First Amendment.

https://www.commondreams.org/views/2021/01/16/no-open-sedition-not-first-amendment-right

Doing what Trump and his mindless supporters do manipulate the facts and the narrative will not change that these people committed sedition and that is a high crime.

DO NOT use the Constitution to try and justify what crimes they committed.

Insurrection Update

The last day before Biden’s oath ceremony and the sane part of the country is holding their breath.

I was not planning on writing too much more on the attack on the Capitol….but a wealth of news keeps pour out…..so I feel I must update my readers to the situation and the breaking news around it.

Let’s begin with the lawmakers that have assisted the insurrection….

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday that she wants to know whether any of her colleagues helped the mob that stormed the Capitol last week. That would put them in criminal jeopardy, she said. “If in fact it is found that members of Congress were accomplices to this insurrection, if they aided and abetted the crime,” Pelosi said, “there may have to be actions taken beyond the Congress in terms of prosecutions.” Suspicions have been raised by House Democrats that Republicans gave tours to rioters before the attack, and they’ve asked Capitol Police to see visitor logs. “That will be looked into,” said Pelosi. She also said she’s asked retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré to assess security at the Capitol, per NPR. “We must subject this whole complex to scrutiny,” Pelosi said.

onoré was critical of the efforts to counter the rioters last week, per WVUE. “It’s like the Capitol Police was doing security by Zoom,” he said. The general added: “I’ve just never seen so much incompetence, so they’re either that stupid, or ignorant or complicit. I think they were complicit.” Steven Sund, who resigned as chief of the Capitol Police after the attack, said Friday that he believes the mob’s assault was part of a coordinated attack. In discussing the insurrection, Pelosi became emotional about the showings of bigotry in the Capitol, especially the “Camp Auschwitz” sweatshirt one rioter wore. “To see this punk with that shirt on and his anti-Semitism that he has bragged about to be part of a white supremacist raid on this Capitol requires us to have an after-action review,” Pelosi said.

The serious crime of sedition is now being talked about more and more…..

The acting US attorney for DC says Capitol rioters could face charges under a Civil War-era sedition law. The law was last used in 1995, when 10 Islamic militants were convicted of seditious conspiracy—a crime involving forceful opposition to government authority or seizure of government property—stemming from a plot to bomb New York landmarks, including the United Nations and FBI building. “Conspiracy was a layup because of the nature of the terrorist cell we were targeting,” Andrew McCarthy, the former federal prosecutor who secured the convictions, tells the AP. He says it’s logical that sedition charges would be brought in “an organized armed assault on the Capitol,” particularly one seeking to block the certification of electoral votes. But if they are, prosecutors will need to prove participants conspired to use force, McCarthy says.

In September, Jeffrey Rosen, now acting US Attorney General, suggested “rioters” taking part in racial injustice protests could be charged under the law, which was enacted to arrest those who might continue to fight the US government after the Civil War. He said proof of a plot to overthrow the government wasn’t necessary. But federal prosecutors on Thursday did mention a “violent insurrection that attempted to overthrow the United States Government” in the case against Jacob Anthony Chansley, aka “Q Shaman” and Jacob Angeli, per Politico. Michael Sherwin, acting US attorney for DC, says he’s ordered prosecutors “to build seditious and conspiracy charges related to the most heinous acts that occurred in the Capitol,” per NPR. “Strong evidence, including Chansley’s own words and actions at the Capitol, supports that the intent of the Capitol rioters was to capture and assassinate elected officials in the United States government,” prosecutors wrote, reports Reuters.

I have made my thoughts public here on IST…..I want to see all identified to be prosecuted and if found guilty they should be given maximum sentences with NO time off for any reason.

Any lawmakers should censured and then banned for public office.

Then there are the radical right people at the breach…..FBI has IDed some as neo-Nazis…..

“dozens” of people who are currently on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database were in Washington D.C. to participate in the January 6 coup. An unnamed source told the Post that many are suspected white supremacists who had previously been entered into the database following prior interactions with state agents or informants.

The revelation that the domestic intelligence agencies knew that neo-Nazis and fascists were going to be in D.C. further exposes the lying claims of figures such as Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy, who stated the day after the coup that “no intelligence” suggested a threat to the Capitol. There is no doubt that hundreds of people within the sprawling military-intelligence apparatus were aware of who was going to be at the rally and what their intentions were.

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2021/01/15/poli-j15.html

Should this include the SCOTUS wife?

I say YES!

If she participated in any way then she needs to pay the ultimate price.

Now the long time Trump supporters have been said to be ass deep in this conspiracy…..you will recognize the names……

Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, and retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn all participated in efforts to promote the Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” event that ultimately devolved into a riotous and deadly melee at the United States Capitol, leaving five dead and causing Trump to become the only president to be impeached for a second time.

More people to add to my list of “Show No Mercy”!

The face of the Far Right Sen. Hawley penned an op-ed defense of the vote on 06 January….

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) penned an op-ed Wednesday defending his decision to object to the Electoral College results of two states as he faces pushback from critics who say he helped fuel last week’s violent mob in the Capitol.

Writing in the Southeast Missourian, Hawley looked to separate his objections from last week’s riot, noting existing questions among some Missouri voters over the presidential election’s integrity.

“Let me say again, as I have said before: the lawless violence at the Capitol last week was criminal. There can be no quibbling about that. Those who engaged in it should be prosecuted and punished,” he wrote. “Lawless violence undermines the democratic process by which we settle our disputes and threatens our democratic life. That applies to mobs of any and all political persuasions. Mob violence is always wrong.”

https://thehill.com/homenews/senate/534054-hawley-pens-op-ed-to-defend-decision-to-object-to-electoral-votes-amid

Nothing this traitor has to say should be any interest to a citizen.

One of the movers of the insurrection of 06 January was that un-American bunch of morons that call themselves QAnon….

The reaction to QAnon by many on the Day of Infamy…it should scare the crap out of Americans….

The right-wing demonstration turned violent riot at the US Capitol on January 6 was a spectacle, complete with Confederate flags and a QAnon shaman in red-white-and-blue face paint. The Venezuelan government stated: “With this unfortunate episode, the United States is experiencing what it has generated in other countries with its policies of aggression.”

Some half of the active electorate voted for Trump, who believed the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent. The other half of the active electorate was abhorrent about what happened in Washington on January 6, speaking with semi-religious reverence about the desecration of sacred institutions. They believed, in contrast, that it was the 2016 presidential election that was stolen. The Russians were the culprits then and, for the last four years, they supported politicians ever.

The Only Thing Scarier than QAnon Is the Reaction to It

Will these Trump loving toads survive the aftermath of their actions?

QAnon as a named community or specific entity might be dead. This doesn’t mean the effects of this three-year old militant Magaist spiritual movement are gone. The collection of agitators and agitated has mutated, dispersed, and retrenched into something more dangerous: a networked social body on a death march to civil war. Jan 6 was its opening salvo.

QAnon’s Afterlife: A Holy Civil War

I think it is great that social media helped create this breach and now it is helping find and arrest the idiots.
