Take Alaska Back!

After the meeting with Donny Vlad had to return to Russia and face some nationalist blowback….they want Alaska returned to the motherland and may be will to take it by force if necessary…..

America’s purchase of Alaska in 1867 was a bizarre land deal between two countries. It was either hated or ridiculed across most of the world. But now, Russian nationalists want their long-lost icebox.

Yes, really. Russian nationalists are saying that Putin should come home from his Alaska visit with a very imperial present for the Russian people. They either claim the land of Alaska was leased, not sold, or that a Russian diplomat bribed American lawmakers, or that the Russian Tsar didn’t follow the law of the sale, or some other excuse.

We can’t wait to see how the Alaska population, which is now over 50 percent made up of Americans descended from Western Europe, would react to suddenly becoming Russian. Surely all those bear hunters who are accustomed to their right to bear arms would happily become constituents of the Russian bear and would welcome Russian Tupolev Tu-95 “Bear” bombers on their airfields.

It’s rarely on Americans’ minds that Russia used to have an impressive empire, mostly because Russia has been a totalitarian bogeyman or a socialist joke for nearly all of living memory here in the States.

But Russia was a tsardom (which is like a kingdom, but you have to double-check the spelling) and then an empire for 370 years. At its peak before World War I, it had a population of over 160 million. The U.S. had about half that in 1910. The Russian Empire stretched from parts of modern Poland in the west to Alaska in the east, with its territory stretching south into modern-day China. It even controlled parts of what is today Japan, though it was already in retreat there, and it lost its possessions in Korea in a war with Japan in 1905.

What Is It With Documents?

I recall after Donny left the WH the first time and all those official government documents they found at his luxury playground for the rich and disgusting there was somewhat of an uproar but not much came of it….then in his second time at the palace of corruption some of his underlings we caught discussing classified stuff over an unsecured phone line….and now more document stuff….

Recently Donny met with Vlad for the all important change in the balance of Eastern Europe…..it appears that some guests at the hotel found official documents in a public printer…..

Unreleased details about plans for the meeting in Alaska between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin could be learned on Friday morning by anyone who checked a printer in the business center of an Anchorage hotel. Eight pages were left behind, apparently produced by US government staff members and carrying State Department markings. Three people staying at Hotel Captain Cook, a four-star hotel about 20 minutes from Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, where Trump and Putin met, said they found the document on a public printer about 9am. NPR reviewed photos of the pages taken by one of them. Information on the eight pages includes:

  • Page 1: The sequence of meetings for the day was listed, as well as the names of the rooms on the base where they were to take place. There was a reveal about the gift Trump planned to present Putin: “American Bald Eagle Desk Statue.”
  • Pages 2-5: The names and phone numbers of three American staff members and 13 US and Russian state leaders are listed, per NPR. Included are phonetic pronouncers for all the Russian men: “Mr. President POO-tihn.”
  • Pages 6-8: The last pages are all about the luncheon planned “in honor of his excellency Vladimir Putin,” setting out the seating chart and menu of green salad, filet mignon, halibut olympia, and crème brûlée.

The day went off schedule. The document sets aside an hour for a Trump-Putin press conference, starting at 3:30pm. Not only did they not take questions, but they broke their joint appearance off after about 12 minutes, per Forbes. And luncheon was not served, per Axios. The White House and the State Department did not respond to NPR’s requests for comment about the document.

It seems that the Trump Admin has a problem with idiots who control documents…..let me say more confidence has been chipped away from the whole affair of a Trump presidency.

I wonder what the next shoe on the document doll will fall to the floor.

The Donny & Vlad Show

Today is the big event (their words not mine) the showdown between Little Donny and Vlad the Invader on the shores of Alaska….there is lots of speculation on just what this will accomplish….

Even Donny has weighed in….

So what are the odds that Friday’s summit between President Trump and Vladimir Putin will bring peace to Ukraine? In an interview on Fox News Thursday morning, Trump floated a surprisingly specific prediction: He told Brian Kilmeade he sees a “25% chance that this meeting will not be a successful meeting,” reports the BBC. Trump didn’t elaborate on potential snags, though territorial concessions were seen as the biggest hurdle. The summit is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm ET, and it appears the world will know quickly how things went.

Trump told Fox he’d fly back to Washington if the summit is a bust. “If the meeting doesn’t end well, I’ll just have a press conference and get out,” he said, per the Washington Post. But if things go well, Trump and Putin could hold a joint news conference, and Trump even suggested that Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky could immediately fly to Alaska for a three-way follow-up meeting. “I don’t know where we’re going to have the second meeting, but we have an idea of three different locations, and we’ll be including the possibility, because it would be by far the easiest of staying in Alaska,” Trump said.

Then there is Vlad and what he will possibly bring to the negotiating table….

When Vladimir Putin and President Trump meet in Alaska, the Russian leader is set to tempt Trump with financial incentives to back Moscow over Ukraine, the Guardian reports. Putin’s adviser said the “huge untapped potential” of Russia-US economic relations will be up for discussion, and said the leaders would talk about the possibility of “further developing bilateral cooperation, including in the trade and economic sphere.” He noted, “This cooperation has huge and, unfortunately so far, untapped potential.”

The quickly scheduled talks, held at Putin’s request, mark the Russian leader’s first meeting with a US president on US soil since 2007. Putin is reportedly bringing prominent economic advisers, including his finance minister, to appeal to Trump’s business interests, sources tell the newspaper. The Kremlin’s message, according to one former official who spoke anonymously: “Putin knows Trump sees the world through a business lens, and will pitch a peace on his terms as the gateway to lucrative opportunities.”

If happens will those financial benefits favor Donny or the country?

Does anyone think this will be a success?  Or will it be another infamous Donny ambush of a world leader?

This is a scenario on how things could go in Alaska….(a well thought out scenario)….but a short history of the two leaders meetings over a few3 years….

If you consider the history of Donald Trump’s public relationship with Vladimir Putin, you won’t be surprised that there’s a fair amount of concern in Ukraine and among Ukraine’s European allies at what might happen when the two meet in Alaska tomorrow for their summit.

While it’ll be their first face-to-face meeting of Trump’s second presidency, the pair has met previously on six occasions and, as we know, spoken fairly frequently over the phone.

The first face-to-face meeting was at the G20 summit in Hamburg in 2017, just months into Trump’s first term. The pair spent two hours of a scheduled 35-minute meeting talking about all things from Syria to North Korea. It was constructive and cordial, they said. Later they talked during a summit dinner in an exchange that was only witnessed by Putin’s interpreter, the nature of which was not reported.

Donny Goes To Russia

There is a supposed meeting between Donny and Putin to negotiate a ceasefire and stop all the BS….in and around Ukraine.

Why Russia?

Well the meeting is not in Russia it is in Alaska….but apparently the ‘stable genius’ does not know that Alaska is a state and no long belongs to Russia.

President Donald Trump appeared to mix up Russia with Alaska ahead of his meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, during a White House press conference about crime in Washington, DC and his plans to deploy the National Guard and put the city’s police under his control.

Trump delivered the news from the podium in the press briefing room — joined by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and newly confirmed DC U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro — where he decried the level of crime in Washington, DC.

“This is a tragic emergency, and it’s embarrassing for me to be up here,” Trump told reporters. “You know, I’m going to see Putin. I’m going to Russia on Friday. I don’t like being up here, talking about how unsafe and how dirty and disgusting this once-beautiful capital [is].”

Then there is VP Vance thumping his weezy chest….

Vice President JD Vance explained that the White House was done funding the war in Ukraine. He said President Donald Trump would allow Europe to buy American weapons for Ukraine.

“The president and I certainly think that America [is] done with the funding of the Ukraine war business,” the Vice President told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo on “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“We want to bring about a peaceful settlement to this thing. We want to stop the killing, but Americans, I think, are sick of continuing to send their money, their tax dollars, to this particular conflict.” He continued, “But if the Europeans want to step up and actually buy the weapons from American producers, we’re okay with that, but we’re not going to fund it ourselves anymore.”

They want to stop the killing but will supply the weapons if the money is right.

The one thing that Ukraine said they would not do to end the conflict is lose land mass….but Donny has another plan….

President Trump said on Monday that there will be “land swapping” between Russia and Ukraine as part of a potential peace deal and pushed back on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s public rejection of ceding any territory to Moscow.

“I was a little bothered by the fact that Zelensky was saying, ‘Well, I have to get constitutional approval.’ I mean, he’s got approval to go into war and kill everybody, but he needs approval to do a land swap — because there’ll be some land swapping going on,” Trump told reporters.

The president is gearing up for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska this Friday and said that after the talks, he will relay Moscow’s “parameters” to end the war to Ukraine and the US’s European allies. “If it’s a fair deal, I will reveal it to the European Union leaders and to the NATO leaders and also to President Zelensky,” he said. “I may say, ‘lots of luck, keep fighting,’ or I may say we can make a deal.”

According to reports from The Wall Street Journal, Putin has conveyed to the US that he would end the war if Ukraine withdrew its forces from the territory it still controls in Donetsk in the eastern Donbas region. The reports suggest Moscow would be willing to accept freezing the lines in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, a potential climbdown from Moscow’s earlier demand for a full Ukrainian withdrawal from both oblasts.

Crimea: Alaska Style

You know there are a wealth of stories that come out whenever there is some sort of upheaval that the world fixates on…….we have heard all the “experts” that are saying “I told you so” because they mentioned Russia sometime in their political lives….only because they could not remember the name of any place else…..but they are now officially an expert.

Sorry, had to rant a bit…….

Remember back in 2012 or maybe a little back when there was this amazing petition for Texas to secede from the good old US?  Or how abut the boy toy of a VP candidate that was the member of a party that wanted Alaska to secede?

Speaking of Alaska….there is so much more happening……..

Managing to get kicked out of the G8 apparently isn’t all that worrisome for at least 21,408 Americans. An anonymous Anchorage resident launched a petition on the White House’s “We the People” site Friday titled “Alaska back to Russia,” and that’s how many people have signed it as of this writing. As UPI notes, the petition needs 100,000 signatures by April 20 in order to get an official White House response. (Remember, though, when Texas petitioned to secede, signers did not get their way.)

Why should the US allow Alaska to secede and join Russia? As the petition explains, in what bears little resemblance to English: “Groups Siberian russians crossed the Isthmus (now the Bering Strait) 16-10 thousand years ago. Russian began to settle on the Arctic coast, Aleuts inhabited the Aleutian Archipelago. First visited Alaska August 21, 1732, members of the team boat ‘St. Gabriel »under the surveyor Gvozdev and assistant navigator I. Fedorov during the expedition Shestakov and DI Pavlutski 1729-1735 years.” Or, as KTUU puts it, the petition “cites historical evidence of previous visitors and claimants for ownership of the territory.” The US bought Alaska from Russia for $7.2 million in 1867.

Now I have to ask….are they serious?  There is a wealth of mental midgets but this goes beyond the pale………

Oh so much more that I could say but most of it would be derogatory….so I will let the article stand for itself and just Ask……are they serious?

Run Sarah Run!

I can hear the chants as I write!  You see there are many out there in the ether that think this person has what it takes to be a serious political figure…..

Any way there was a sort of announcement from Ms Palin while speaking with Hannity…….

“I’ve considered it because people have requested me considering it,” Palin said, after Hannity mentioned rumors of a potential Senate run.

“I’m still waiting to see, you know, what the lineup will be and hoping that, there again, there will be some new blood, new energy — not just kind of picking from the same old politicians in the state,” Palin continued.

Palin also took the opportunity to swipe at Sen. Mark Begich (D-Alaska), who she believes “has got to be replaced.”

“[Begich] has not done what he has promised to do for the people of Alaska and that was to represent what it is that the nation needs in terms of energy development and so many other … development issues that are near and dear to an Alaskan’s heart,” Palin said. “Because he’s on the wrong side of the aisle, he has to go along to get along with his Democrat leadership. And that’s a shame. That’s a waste of opportunity for our nation.”

Now with all that said my favorite part of her roundabout announcement was when she said……..”[Begich] has not done what he has promised to do for the people of Alaska………..”

This coming from a person that was elected governor of her state and resigned mid-term to pursue fame and fortune……she did not do what she promised to do when she was elected…..this is the same sort of hypocrisy that is plaguing the GOP….and the funny thing they cannot see just how pathetic they appear to the voter…….

All that aside…….do I want Palin to run?  Hell yes!  There is seldom any a amusement to be found in state elections….but if she runs against Miller it will be whack-a-doodle vs batshit crazy…….lots of fun and lots to write about.  But will she run?

My personal opinion is…..NO!  Two times a loser will diminish her wealth as a speaker and the money will not be as good and that is something she cannot tolerate…..

2010 Info Ink Movie Review #1

First of all, it is NOT a movie…even though the people participated would like it to be, it is rather a TV show…a reality piece of garbage and I will debate that it is NOT now nor ever will it be, entertaining……however a few conservs friends had badgered me about watching a show on TLC (The Learning Channel) to see what I thought of it…the show is Sarah Palin’s Alaska….to be honest I watched two episodes (that was I all I could take without throwing a brick through my Tellie)…….

If the show was actually about the natural wonders of the state…it would be more tolerable….but NOPE…it is about the Palin clan and their pretend adventures in paradise……we see the family fishing (and clubbing halibut)….canoeing and watching bears by the waters edge or the family out gunning for clay pigeons…..all of which does very little to promote the natural beauty of Alaska and everything in the promotion of Palin and her Tea Party political views…..her comments are loaded with political undertones…..like the bears,  Mama bear is teaching the cubs that you have to do everything for yourselves…no one will help you (according to the commentary of Palin) or her spotlight on the use of guns or…..and it went on and on…..

It was more like a long campaign ad for her and her possible political career….not about the beauty of her state and why we should be impressed with the vista that is Alaska…TLC should be pulled in front of the FCC for allowing a person to use a documentary format to reinforce a person political stands…….

It is a worthless piece of entertainment (about as entertaining as watching flies mate)  and a waste of perfectly  good air time…..

Don’t Speak Ill Of The Dead

A couple of days ago, Sen. Stevens of Alaska was killed in a plane crash in western Alaska, along with a couple of other people….and immediately the media got people who knew him on the phone and pumped them full of question…none of which were relevant but questions and more questions…..

This got me to thinking about death and thought about the lies people tell when remembering the dead…..it seems NO one wants to call an a/hole an a/hole….so we send the dead to meet their maker on the back of a lie…not everyone is a sterling individual…trust me on this……I would not lie to you.

So answer me this…why do we lie about the dead?  Oh I kn0w…it is bad manners to speak ill of the dead….is that it?…..well that is just plain BS……..to me an a/hole will always be an a/hole….this could be why I am NEVER asked to give eulogies……it seems I call it as I smell it…..no amount of money can make me say good things about a person that would not know a good deed if it bit them in the ass…enough said?

When she was in the process of announcing her soon to be official resignation, she said and I quote:

“I am not a quitter, I am a fighter”

And then she announces she is quitting.  That makes for a great anal statement.  Thanx, gov.

It just keeps getting better and better…..no matter how we try we cannot get enough of Mrs. Palin.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin‘s favorite consignment shop has been forced to change its name after she brought the trendy, upscale Anchorage boutique unintended legal problems during last year’s presidential campaign.

Out of the Closet owner Ellen Arvold said she was served a cease-and-desist letter by a Los Angeles-based chain of thrift stores with the same name — same trademarked name, it turned out — after Palin mentioned her store in an interview.

Rather than fight, Arvold agreed to change the name to Second Run. The change is effective Saturday, the store’s fifth anniversary.

Palin came under heat as John McCain‘s running mate when it was disclosed the Republican National Committee spent $150,000 to outfit the Alaska governor and her family during the presidential campaign.

Palin told reporters at the time the clothes were neither her idea, nor her property. In an interview with Fox News in October, she said she was a frugal shopper and her favorite shop was “a consignment shop in Anchorage, Alaska, called Out of the Closet.”

Arvold said Palin was last in the store a few days before McCain made her his surprise pick for vice president in late August, and sent a note Arvold a photograph from the campaign trail, showing her wearing a pink Dolce & Gabbana jacket she bought at the store.

Included was a note that “thanked us for the clothes, and apologized for all the flak we took, so that was really thoughtful of her,” Arvold said.
