The Dems in Congress, a group that I have no confidence in, are already preparing if they take the House back….and the Minority leader, Jeffries, has made his desire known….and that desire is impeachment process.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is refusing to rule out a third impeachment of President Donald Trump if Democrats retake control of the House in the November midterm elections.

Asked whether Democrats would pursue impeachment if they win the majority, Jeffries said they have “not ruled anything in, and we haven’t ruled anything out,” regarding impeachment.

Jeffries said House Democrats would be guided by the facts, the law, and the Constitution, with Judiciary Committee Democrats led by Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., and Oversight Committee Democrats led by Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., taking leading roles in potential investigations.

“We’ve got to follow the facts, apply the law, be guided by the United States Constitution, and then let the chips fall where they may,” Jeffries said.

The comments leave open the possibility that Democrats could pursue impeachment after taking control of the House, even as party leaders have sought to emphasize investigations and congressional oversight as their initial priorities.

Jeffries’ position also revives the prospect of another impeachment fight involving Trump after Democrats twice impeached him during his first presidency.

Democrats have nevertheless been preparing for an aggressive oversight agenda should they win the House, with investigations potentially involving Trump’s administration, immigration policies, business interests and other areas.

Within the party, there are differing views about whether impeachment should be pursued.

All this is a waste of valuable time….yes they impeached Donny three times, I believe, and yet he still remained…..what did they actually accomplish with those extensive investigations?

Does anyone think there will be cooperation from DOJ or the AG office?  And damn sure that the GOP will be a major pain in the ass.

Will this time be any different?

I think not.

The country is struggling under the boot heal of Donny and instead of tackling more important issues the Dems will resort to what they did before….and that effort accomplished nothing with the exception of maybe some footnote in a history book somewhere.

How will this address high prices, lack of benefits, attacks on healthcare, and the Gestapo-esques tactics of ICE….just to mention a few of the problems facing this country.

So will this the best use of valuable and possibly limited time for Congress to go off half-cocked?
