Mercifully the clown show that they billed as a Mid-term Convention turn ugly?
Well according to reports it did just that.
The Republicans’ midterm convention in Dallas took a violent turn on Thursday as members of the crowd could be heard clearly calling for several prominent Democrats to be shot.
Senator Ted Cruz was delivering a speech during which he talked about New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and Democratic Senate nominees Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan and James Talarico of Texas. As he did so, shouts of “he should be shot,” could be heard coming from the crowd.
Cruz did not appear to react to the calls for violence. “When Mamdani says he wants to seize the means of production,” Cruz began saying.
“He should be shot,” a member of the crowd can be heard shouting as the senator paused his sentence. “He means it, Cruz finished.
“When Abdul El-Sayed says he has an obligation to comply with Sharia Law,” he continued. Cruz paused again, this time more members of the crowd appeared to join in as they shouted, “He should be shot.”
“He means it,” Cruz continued. “And when James Talarico says he wants to dismantle capitalism,” the senator went on.
He was once more interrupted by shouts of, “He should be shot.” “He means it,” Cruz said again. The incident came shortly after Cruz had claimed that hate contributed to the assassination attempts on Donald Trump and the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk last year.
It’s unclear whether Cruz heard the shouts, though they were clearly captured in footage of the speech. Reacting to the incident, El-Sayed said that anyone who heard the calls for violence should condemn them.

When was the last time you heard people that supports Dems yell shit like this?
The best answer is….you haven’t….even if some think that MAGA supporters should be shot and killed there is some restraint among the ranks.
But apparently Repubs hate so much that they ignore this type of crap from their pseudo-human followers.
Now I was thinking….was this incident a warning of things to come in November or in January2027?

On June 14th 2025, Vance Luther Boelter – a former pastor and religious zealot who voted for Trump in 2016 – murdered Democratic Minnesota State House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband in their home and also committed attempted murder by shooting Democratic Minnesota State Sen. John Huffman and his wife. On July 23rd 2026, Boelter was sentenced to two concurrent life sentences without the possibility of parole after pleading guilty.
On April 13th 2025, Cody Allen Balmer – a former political independent who tried to convince his family to vote for Trump in 2024 – set fire to Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro’s house because of Shapiro’s support for Israeli military aggression against the Palestinians in Gaza. Balmer pleaded guilty to charges of attempted murder, terrorism, aggravated arson, and aggravated assault, and is serving a 25-50 year prison sentence with eligibility for parole in 2050. Considering that Trump turned out to be even more hawkish for Israel than Shapiro, I wonder what Balmer thinks of him now?
On October 28th 2022, David DePape – a far-right conspiracy nut who was radicalized by QAnon, Pizzagate, and Donald Trump’s false claims of a stolen election in 2020 and who shared online COVID-19 vaccine misinformation – broke into the residence of Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and nearly beat her husband to death with a hammer. DePape was convicted of two federal and six state charges and is serving a 30-year federal sentence (without possibility of parole) and a state life imprisonment sentence.
In October 2020, 14 members of the far-right Michigan Militia group known as the Wolverine Watchmen were arrested for conspiring to kidnap Democratic Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. After numerous federal and state criminal proceedings, the following defendants were convicted and sentenced thusly: Ty Garbin – 2 1⁄2 years in prison plus a $2,500 fine, Kaleb Franks – 4 years in prison, Adam Fox -16 years in prison, and Barry Croft – 19 years and 7 months in prison.
On July 19th 2020, Roy Den Hollander – a lawyer, misogynist, anti-feminist, and campaign volunteer for Trump – shot federal judge Esther Salas’ (an Obama appointee in 2011) husband (seriously wounded) and son (killed) in their home. Before he could be arrested, Hollander was found dead apparently by suicide.
In October 2018, Cesar Altieri Sayoc – a fanatical Trump supporter – mailed pipe bombs to prominent Democrats including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former President Bill Clinton, billionaire Democratic megadonor George Soros, former President Barack Obama, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-CA)., former CIA Director John Brennan, and actor Robert De Niro. None of the victims were injured. Sayoc pleaded guilty to 65 federal charges and was sentenced to 20 years in prison on August 5, 2019 and is eligible for release on November 10, 2035.
That is a scary list….and I think we need to be prepared….chuq

And what, exactly, is it when people shout out that someone “should be shot”? Is this not the same “hate” which, in Cruz’s own words, contributes to assassination???
But of course it’s “OK” when done by the Repukes, right?
Although I don’t have any facts to support this, I suspect that the Israelis killed Charlie Kirk after he publicly criticized their military aggression following Hamas’ attack on October 7, 2023. Pro-Israel groups had funneled a lot of money to Kirk’s conservative organization Turning Point USA (TPUSA), and his killing was probably payback for his betrayal.
Of course it is the same….but Repukes are never anti-American and everyone has an opinion….sorry gotta stop even I cannot continue with that lie….LOL chuq
